The paper develops and employs analytical-numerical solution method for the study of the time-harmonic dynamic stress field in the system consisting of the hollow cylinder and surrounding elastic medium under the non-axisymmetric forced vibration of this *** is assumed that in the interior of the hollow cylinder the point-located with respect to the cylinder axis,non-axisymmetric with respect to the circumferential direction and uniformly distributed time-harmonic forces *** boundary value problem is solved by employing of the exponential Fourier transformation with respect to the axial coordinate and by employing of the Fourier series expansion of these *** results on the frequency response of the interface normal stresses are presented and discussed.

AIM:To study a retrospective analysis of patients who presented to the emergency departments(ED)with complaints related to foreign body ***:Patients older than 16 years of age who presented to the ED between January 1stand December 31stof 2010 with complaints related to swallowed foreign bodies were identified from electronic health records and patient ***:A total of 100 patients presented with a complaint of foreign body ingestion during the study ***,an X-ray was performed on 75 patients,and a fiberoptic evaluation was performed on45 patients.A foreign body was detected in 46(46%)*** diagnostic yield of the X-ray was 27(36%)out of 75 patients,while the diagnostic yield of the fiberoptic evaluations was 21(47%)out of 45 *** detected foreign bodies were mostly located in the esophagus(17 out of 46 foreign bodies detected).When the types of ingested foreign bodies were evaluated,52(52%)patients reported ingesting food,and19(19%)patients reported swallowing *** X-ray was performed on 33 patients with accidental food ingestions but yielded a positive result in only two *** 12 out of 21 patients with accidental food ingestion who underwent fiberoptic evaluation,the foreign material was detected and ***:Plain radiography is helpful in the localization of radiopaque swollen foreign bodies,while fiberoptic methods are useful as both diagnostic and therapeutic tools,regardless of radiopacity.

AIM: To determine the prognostic risk factors of gastrointestinal bleeding in emergency department ***: The trial was a retrospective single-center study involving 600 patients over 18-years-old and carried out with approval by the Institutional Ethics Committee. Patient data included demographic characteristics, symptoms at admission, past medical history, vital signs, laboratory results, endoscopy and colonoscopy results, length of hospital stay, need of intensive care unit(ICU) admission, and mortality. Mortality rate was the principal endpoint of the study, while duration of hospital stay, required interventional treatment, and admission to the ICU were secondary ***: The mean age of patients was 61.92-yearsold. Among the 600 total patients, 363(60.5%) underwent upper gastrointestinal endoscopy and the most frequent diagnoses were duodenal ulcer(19.2%) and gastric ulcer(12.8%). One-hundred-and-fifteen(19.2%) patients required endoscopic treatment, 20(3.3%) required surgical treatment, and 5(0.8%) required angiographic embolization. The mean length of hospital stay was 5.21 ± 5.85 d. The mortality rate was 6.3%. The ICU admission rate was 5.3%. Patients with syncope, higher blood glucose levels, and coronary artery disease had significantly higher ICU admission rates(P = 0.029, P = 0.043, and P = 0.002, respectively). Patients with low thrombocyte levels, high creatinine, high international normalized ratio, and high serum transaminase levels had significantly longer hospital stay(P = 0.02, P = 0.001, P = 0.019, and P = 0.005, respectively). Patients who died had significantly higher serum blood urea nitrogen and creatinine levels(P = 0.016 and P = 0.038), and significantly lower mean blood pressure and oxygen saturation(P = 0.004 and P = 0.049). This study presents a case study on the heavy metal analysis of soil and plant samples around the Murgul copper mine,one of the first and most important mining areas in *** attempt has been made to investigate the status of trace elements like Al^(3+),Fe^(2+),Cu^(2+),Zn^(2+),Pb^(2+),Ni^(2+),Co^(2+)and Cd^(2+)in soils and *** sampling localities were taken from 500 m,600 m,and 1000 m altitudes around the factory and at 1400 m in the forest *** aboveground parts and foliage ash of Silene compacta,Tussilago farfara,Smilax excelsa,Rhododendron ponticum,***,and herbal mix were *** results of analysis have revealed the minimum and maximum concentrations measured in the plants as follows;aluminium(20-8985 mg kg^(-1)),cadmium(0.0-0.5 mg kg^(-1)),cobalt(0.0-5.5 mg kg^(-1)),copper(0.0-347.5 mg kg^(-1)),iron(25-9320 mg kg^(-1)),lead(2-51 mg kg^(-1)),nickel(1.5-16.5 mg kg^(-1)),and zinc(13.0-221.0 mg kg^(-1)).In the soil the concentrations of aluminium,cadmium,cobalt,copper,iron,lead,nickel,and zinc vary between 33-457,0.0-0.0,0.0-0.4,0.1-88.7,14-50,0.3-4.1,0.2-0.8,and 4.0-20.3 mg kg^(-1) *** findings enlighten the fact that copper is generally toxic in the soils as well as *** compacta has been recorded as a high copper accumulator,behaving as a healthy plant on the polluted sites of the area alongside the Murgul creek(especially at 600 m).This study stresses the fact that it is imperative to assess and monitor the levels of heavy metals in the environment due to anthropogenic activities,including mining,for evaluation of human exposure and for sustainable environment.

BACKGROUND: In low-risk patients with acute cholecystitis who did not respond to nonoperative treatment, we prospectively compared treatment with emergency laparoscopic cholecystectomy or percutaneous transhepatic cholecystostomy followed by delayed ***: In 91 patients(American Society of Anesthesiologists class I or II) who had symptoms of acute cholecystitis ≥72 hours at hospital admission and who did not respond to nonoperative treatment(48 hours), 48 patients were treated with emergency laparoscopic cholecystectomy and 43 patients were treated with delayed cholecystectomy at ≥4 weeks after insertion of a percutaneous transhepatic cholecystostomy catheter. After initial treatment, the patients were followed up for 23 months on average(range 7-29).RESULT: Compared with the patients who had emergency laparoscopic cholecystectomy, the patients who were treated with percutaneous transhepatic cholecystostomy and delayed cholecystectomy had a lower frequency of conversion to open surgery [19(40%) vs 8(19%); P=0.029], a frequency of intraoperative bleeding ≥100 mL [16(33%) vs 4(9%); P=0.006],a mean postoperative hospital stay(5.3±3.3 vs 3.0±2.4 days;P=0.001), and a frequency of complications [17(35%) vs 4(9%);P=0.003].CONCLUSION: In patients with acute cholecystitis who presented to the hospital ≥72 hours after symptom onset and did not respond to nonoperative treatment for 48 hours, percutaneous transhepatic cholecystostomy with delayed laparoscopic cholecystectomy produced better outcomes and fewer complications than emergency laparoscopic cholecystectomy.

AIM To investigate the levels of impulsiveness, and the relationship between the binge eating disorder(BED) and the levels of impulsiveness in obese *** Two hundred and forty-one obese patients who were included in the study and candidate for bariatric surgery(weight loss surgery) were clinically interviewed to identify the BED group, and patients were divided into two groups: Those with BED and those without BED. The comorbidity rate of groups was determined by using structured clinical interview for DSM-Ⅳ(SCID-Ⅰ). A sociodemographic data form including the story of previous psychiatric treatment, structured clinical interview for DSM-Ⅳ(SCID-Ⅰ), Beck Anxiety Inventory, Beck Depression Inventory(BDI) and Barratt Impulsiveness Scale-11 were applied to both of the *** In regard to 241 obese individuals included in the study, total score and score of attention subscale for BED(+) group were significantly high(P < 0.05). In addition, suicide attempt, story of psychiatric consultation, and score for BDI were again significantly high in the BED(+) group(P < 0.05).CONCLUSION In assessment of obese individuals, assessment of associated psychopathology such as impulsive characteristics and suicide attempt in addition to disrupted eating behaviors will allow to have a more extensive view.

With the declaration of the COVID-19 pandemic by the World Health Organization on March 11,2020,the University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine(UTCVM),like other institutions,restructured their services to reduce the potential spread of the COVID-19 virus while simultaneously providing critical and essential veterinary services.A mathematical model was developed to predict the change in the level of possible COVID-19 infections due to the increased number of potential contacts within the UTCVM hospital.A system of ordinary differential equations with different compartments for UTCVM individuals and the Knox county population was formulated to show the dynamics of transmission and the number of confirmed *** transmission rates in the model were estimated using COVID-19 case data from the surrounding county and UTCVM *** from this model show the increasing number of COVID-19 cases among UTCVM personnel as the number of daily clients and the number of veterinary staff in the clinic are *** also investigate how changes within the Knox county community impact the UTCVM *** scenarios show the importance of understanding the effects of re-opening scenarios in veterinary teaching hospitals.

Intravesical Bacillus Calmette-Guerin （BCG） has long been the gold standard treatment of nonmuscle invasive bladder cancer. Recently, there has been an emergence of novel immunotherapeutic agents, which have shown promise in the treatment of urothelial cell carcinoma. These agents aim to augment, modify, or enhance the immune response. Such strategies include recombinant BCG, monoclonal antibodies, vaccines, gene therapy, and adoptive T-cell therapy. Here, we review the emerging immunotherapeutics in the treatment of nonmuscle invasive bladder cancer.
