The thermal diffusion column represents one method of separating stable *** method is advantageous for smallscale operations because of the simplicity of the apparatus and small inventory,especially in gas-phase ***,it has attracted attention for its applicability in tritium and noble gas separation *** this study,the R cascade was used to design and determine the number of columns.A square cascade was adopted for the final design because of its flexibility,and calculations were performed to separate 20Ne and 22Ne *** the R cascades that enriched the Ne isotopes by more than 99%were investigated,the number of columns was determined,and the square cascade parameters were optimized using the specified ***,a calculation code“RSQ_CASCADE”was developed.A unit separation factor of three was considered,and the number of studied stages ranged from 10 to *** results showed that the column separation power,relative total flow rate,and required number of columns were linearly related to the number of *** separation power and relative total flow decreased and the number of columns increased as the stage number ***,a cascade of 85 columns is recommended to separate the stable Ne *** calculations yielded a 17-stage square cascade with five columns in each *** changing the stage cut,feed point,and cascade feed flow rate,the best parameters for the square cascade were determined according to the cascade and column separation *** the column separation power had a maximum value in cascade feed 50,it was selected for separating Ne isotopes.

In this paper,the potential of utilizing improved metaheuristic approaches in optimal design of building structures is *** this regard,the drift-tribe-charged system search algorithm is proposed that the position and velocity updating processes of the charged system search is developed by implementing the mathematical presentation of the free-electron model utilized for metal *** addition,the searching phase of the developed algorithm is also divided into three separate phases in order to improve the convergence capability of the *** means of these modifications,the exploitation and exploration rates of the standard algorithm are *** order to determine the ability of the proposed improved metaheuristic method considering some complex optimization problems,a 10-story steel building structure with 1026 structural members alongside a 60-story structure with 8272 members are utilized as numerical *** overall capability of the developed metaheuristic approach is compared with other metaheuristics.A total number of 30 independent runs have been conducted for each of the standard and proposed methods while a statistical analysis is also conducted for comparative *** obtained optimum results demonstrated that the proposed metaheuristic approach is capable of preparing better outcomes than other metaheuristics.

Objectives:The purposes of this study were to produce novel formulations of Doeeneh using three probiotic strains and different inulin ratios and to investigate the survival of ***,the effect of Doeeneh on the biological properties of non-diabetic and diabetic rats was also *** and Methods:Doeeneh,composed of milk and wheat bulgur,was enriched with different proportions of inulin and fermented by Bifidobacterium animalis *** BB-12(B),Lactobacillus acidophilus LA-5(A),Lacticaseibacillus rhamnosus LGG(R),and their *** physicochemical and sensory properties and probiotics viability were investigated for 14 *** was induced in albino rats by administration of alloxan monohydrate(150 mg/kg i.p.).Changes in weight and blood glucose were measured weekly,and food and water consumption were measured daily;total cholesterol and triglycerides were measured after 35 d by a biochemical ***:The increased proportion of high-degree of polymerization inulin decreased pH and increased ***,a higher concentration of inulin applied to Doeeneh resulted in a slower decrease in pH *** result can show the buffering effect of inulin in Doeeneh as well;changes in pH were slow over time due to the presence of the buffering ***,the probiotics’survival was in the standard range even in the inulin-free ***,the Doeeneh sample containing 5%inulin(SABR3)considerably reduced the levels of blood glucose,total cholesterol,and triglyceride in diabetic ***,the diabetic rats fed Doeeneh demonstrated less weight loss and food/water intake than the ***:Traditional foods and their preparation methods are a suitable target for the development of health-oriented products,and functional food with nutraceutical capabilities can be designed and produced based on them.

Large-scale secondary motions are known to occur in turbulent flows over surfaces with spanwise roughness *** studies often use adjacent high-and low-roughness longitudinal strips to investigate these secondary rolls in boundary layers without any thermal *** the present study,the effect of unstable thermal stratification on secondary rolls in a very high-Reynolds-number turbulent flow with spanwise-heterogeneous roughness is investigated by means of large-eddy *** strength of the unstable stratification is systematically changed from L/h=−20 to L/h=−1,where L and h are Monin-Obukhov length and boundary-layer height,*** range covers the transition from neutral stratification to unstable *** results show that the positive buoyancy associated with the unstable thermal stratification acts against the roughness-induced secondary *** the case of unstable stratification,secondary rolls are completely canceled out by buoyancy and replaced by new stronger convection-induced rolls rotating in opposite directions.

Lightweight,high-efficiency and low reflection electromagnetic interference(EMI)shielding polymer composites are greatly desired for addressing the challenge of ever-increasing electromagnetic *** layered foam/film PVDF nanocomposites with efficient EMI shielding effectiveness and ultralow reflection power were fabricated by physical *** unique layered foam/film structure was composed of PVDF/SiCnw/MXene(Ti_(3)C_(2)Tx)composite foam as absorption layer and highly conductive PVDF/MWCNT/GnPs composite film as a reflection *** foam layer with numerous heterogeneous interfaces developed between the SiC nanowires(SiCnw)and 2D MXene nanosheets imparted superior EM wave attenuation ***,the microcellular structure effectively tuned the impedance matching and prolonged the wave propagating path by internal scattering and multiple ***,the highly conductive PVDF/MWCNT/GnPs composite(~220 S m^(−1))exhibited superior reflectivity(R)of *** tailored structure in the layered foam/film PVDF nanocomposite exhibited an EMI SE of 32.6 dB and a low reflection bandwidth of 4 GHz(R<0.1)over the Kuband(12.4-18.0 GHz)at a thickness of 1.95 mm.A peak SER of 3.1×10^(-4) dB was obtained which corresponds to only 0.0022% reflection *** consequence,this study introduces a feasible approach to develop lightweight,high-efficiency EMI shielding materials with ultralow reflection for emerging applications.

With a sharp increase in the information volume,analyzing and retrieving this vast data volume is much more essential than *** of the main techniques that would be beneficial in this regard is called the Clustering *** aims to classify objects so that all objects within a cluster have similar features while other objects in different clusters are as distinct as *** of the most widely used clustering algorithms with the well and approved performance in different applications is the k-means *** main problem of the k-means algorithm is its performance which can be directly affected by the selection in the primary *** of attention to this crucial issue has consequences such as creating empty clusters and decreasing the convergence ***,the selection of appropriate initial seeds can reduce the cluster’s *** this paper,we present a new method to determine the initial seeds of the k-mean algorithm to improve the accuracy and decrease the number of iterations of the *** this purpose,a new method is proposed considering the average distance between objects to determine the initial *** method attempts to provide a proper tradeoff between the accuracy and speed of the clustering *** experimental results showed that our proposed approach outperforms the Chithra with 1.7%and 2.1%in terms of clustering accuracy for Wine and Abalone detection data,***,achieved results indicate that comparing with the Reverse Nearest Neighbor(RNN)search approach,the proposed method has a higher convergence speed.

Tremor is an involuntary and oscillatory movement disorder that makes daily activities difficult for affected patients. Hand tremor-suppression orthoses are noninvasive, wearable devices designed to mitigate tremors. Various studies have shown that these devices are effective, economical, and safe;however, they have drawbacks such as large weight, awkward shape, and rigid parts. This study investigates different types of tremor-suppression orthoses and discusses their efficiency, mechanism,benefits, and disadvantages. First, various orthoses(with passive, semi-active, and active mechanisms) are described in ***, we look at how additive manufacturing(AM) has progressed recently in making sensors and actuators for application in tremor orthoses. Then, the materials used in AM are further analyzed. It is found that traditional manufacturing problems can be solved with the help of AM techniques, like making orthoses that are affordable, lighter, and more customizable. Another concept being discussed is using smart materials and AM methods, such as four-dimensional(4D) printing, to make orthoses that are more comfortable and efficient.

Efficient management of air quality requires a comprehensive emission inventory to support decision-making on air quality *** article presents a comprehensive framework for detailed emission inventory development in cities with low-quality basic data,which examines the emission of primary criteria pollutants(CO,NO_(x),SO_(2),PM_(2.5),PM_(10),and VOC)from mobile sources,residential,commercial,and public services,fuel stations,transport terminals,energy conversion sections,and *** research was applied to Tabriz in Northwest Iran,one of the polluted medium-sized cities with a population of 1.77 *** show the city daily emission per capita is 569.8 g of CO,68.6 g of NO_(x),38.6 g of VOC,17.6 g of SO_(x),and 3.7 g of *** emissions accounted for 98%of CO,91%of VOCs,61%of NO_(x),and 56%of PM;meaning alternative policy strategies in vehicles would reduce emissions *** applicable and effective scenarios in transport and one concerning stationary sourceswere proposed and reduction potential of themwas *** of the public transport improvement and replacement of old passenger cars were founded the key *** two alternatives decrease 14 and 2 tons of SO_(2) and 6797 and 2394 tons of NO_(x) annually with the cost of$99.5 MM and$366.5 MM,*** findings of this study provides the choice of travel method by each citizen is a function of cost,speed,comfort and safety of travel;therefore,all the requirements of any scenarios must be fully considered in the implementation step.
