This pa.er introduces a.non-conventiona. a.proa.h with multi-dimensiona. ra.dom sa.pling to solve a.coca.ne a.use model with sta.istica. proba.ility. The mea. La.in hypercube finite difference (MLHFD) method is proposed for the first time via.hybrid integra.ion of the cla.sica. numerica. finite difference (FD) formula.with La.in hypercube sa.pling (LHS) technique to crea.e a.ra.dom distribution for the model pa.a.eters which a.e dependent on time t. The LHS technique gives a.va.ta.e to MLHFD method to produce fa.t va.ia.ion of the pa.a.eters' va.ues via.number of multidimensiona. simula.ions (100, 1000 a.d 5000). The genera.ed La.in hypercube sa.ple which is ra.dom or non-deterministic in na.ure is further integra.ed with the FD method to complete one cycle of LHS-FD simula.ion itera.ion. This process is repea.ed until n fina. itera.ions of LHS-FD a.e obta.ned. The mea.s of these n fina. solutions (MLHFD solutions) a.e ta.ula.ed, gra.hed a.d a.a.yzed. The numerica. simula.ion results of MLHFD for the SEIR model a.e presented side-by-side with deterministic solutions obta.ned from the cla.sica. FD scheme a.d homotopy a.a.ysis method with Pa.e a.proxima.ion (Ha.-Pa.e). The present MLHFD results a.e a.so compa.ed with the previous non-deterministic sta.istica. estima.ions from 1995 to 2015. Good a.reement between the two is perceived with sma.l errors. MLHFD method ca. be used to predict future beha.ior, ra.ge a.d prediction interva. for the epidemic model solutions. The expected profiles of the coca.ne a.use subpopula.ions a.e projected until the yea. 2045. Both the sta.istica. estima.ions a.d the deterministic results of FD a.d Ha.-Pa.e a.e found to be within the MLHFD prediction interva.s for a.l the yea.s a.d for a.l the subpopula.ions considered.

The effect of a.dition of Zn, Cu, Pb a.d Cr chlorides a. a.mixtures on the hydra.ion rea.tion of the system 3Ca.·a.2O3-gypsum with mola. ra.io 1：3 wa. studied. Different ra.ios of ea.h sa.t were used, na.ely 0.5%, 2% a.d 4% by weight of the solid mixture. Hydra.ion rea.tion wa. ca.ried out a. 35℃ for va.ious time interva.s from 0.5 h to up to 7 d. Hydra.ion ra.e of the system 3Ca.·a.2O3-Ca.O4·2H2O in a.sence a.d presence of different sa.ts wa. studied via.the determina.ion of the combined wa.er contents. X-ra. diffra.tion a.a.ysis showed tha. the ettringite wa. the only hydra.ion product formed in the different mixes. The hydra.ion products were investiga.ed by sca.ning electron microscopy （SEM） a.d therma. gra.imetric a.a.ysis. The results indica.ed tha. the ra.e of forma.ion of ettringite a.d its microstructure depend on the a.mixture a.d its dosa.e.

Objective: To a.sess the clinica. a.ti-infla.ma.ory a.d a.timicrobia. effica.y of Nigella.sa.iva.oil compa.ed with chlorhexidine in pa.ients with gingivitis. Methods: a.double-blind, ra.domized clinica. tria. wa. conducted in pa.ients ha.ing chronic genera.ized gingivitis. Pa.ients were ra.domly a.signed to receive Nigella.sa.iva.oil(n=18) or chlorhexidine(n=19). The following a.sessments were ma.e on da. 0 a.d da. 15: pla.ue index, gingiva. index, gingiva. IL-6 a.d IL-18 levels were mea.ured using ELISa. pla.ue colony-forming units, a.d a.pha.hemolytic Streptococcus stra.ns. Da.a.were a.a.yzed using pa.a.etric a.d non-pa.a.etric tests a.d Fisher’s exa.t ***: Both interventions reduced pla.ue index a.d gingiva. index scores(Pa.sa.iva.oil group wa. better a. lowering IL-6(P=0.007 6) tha. the chlorhexidine group(P=0.145), a.though there wa. no cha.ge in IL-18 levels(P>0.05). The post-intervention pla.ue index a.d gingiva. index scores a.d infla.ma.ory cytokine levels between the two groups were not significa.tly different. Both interventions ca.sed a.significa.t reduction in the pla.ue colony-forming units(Pa.hogenic ba.teria. Streptococcus mitis, Streptococcus ora.is, Streptococcus sa.guinis, a.d Streptococcus pa.a.a.guinis in the chlorhexidine group(50%)(P=0.103 1), a.d the Nigella.sa.iva.oil group(20%)(P=0.739 5). Conclusions: Nigella.sa.iva.oil ha. a.ti-infla.ma.ory a.d a.tiba.teria. a.tivities, reducing biofilm forma.ion a.d disrupting the coloniza.ion of pa.hogenic ba.teria.essentia. for the progression of periodonta. disea.e. Nigella.sa.iva.oil could offer a. a.terna.ive thera.y for trea.ing gingivitis a.d ma. prevent a.socia.ed systemic disea.es a.d improve overa.l hea.th outcomes.

The Influence of Regula. Hemodia.ysis on the Highly Sensitive Troponin-I Level in Children without a.y Symptoms

Ba.kgrounds: Ca.diova.cula. disea.es a.e still the prominent ca.se of dea.h in ca.es of end-sta.e rena. disea.e, ca.dia. troponin I (cTnI) ca. be used for detecting ca.dia. involvement in a.ymptoma.ic ca.es of end-sta.e rena. disea.e on hemodia.ysis. a.m: Determine the direct ca.dia. consequence of dia.ysis trea.ments in children on hemodia.ysis by mea.uring high-sensitive troponin-I a. a.ma.ker of myoca.dia. injury. Subjects a.d Methods: This ca.e-control study included thirty children with end-sta.e rena. disea.e on regula. hemodia.ysis;the study group wa. selected from the nephrology hemodia.ysis unit of a.-Za.ra. Hospita., a.-a.ha. University. a.other group of thirty hea.thy children ma.ches a.e a.d sex with the pa.ient’s group a. a.control. Highly Sensitive cTnI (hsTnI) wa. mea.ured pre a.d post hemodia.ysis with a.sensitive a.sa.;moreover, ECG, lipid profile including cholesterol, triglyceride, low a.d high-density lipoprotein (HDL) in the sa.e line with routine investiga.ions for those pa.ients, we used bioimpeda.ce for dry weight a.sessment in the hemodia.ysis (HD) group. Results: Children on (HD) ha.e a.significa.tly higher (hsTnI) pre-dia.ysis (0.250 ± 0.069 ng/ml) compa.ed to post-dia.ysis (0.187 ± 0.004 ng/ml) with (p, 0.001). With no significa.t difference between post HD (0.187 ± 0.004 ng/ml) a.d the control group (0.189 ± 0.005) with (p, 0.090). cTnI is detected in (73.3%) of children pre-dia.ysis a.ove the cut-off va.ue compa.ed to (3.31%) ha. a.high-level post-dia.ysis. cTnI is positively correla.ed with systolic, dia.tolic blood pressure a.d hea.t ra.e with (r. 0.333, p, 0.001: r. 0.343, p, 0.001: r. 0.276, p, 0.033) respectively a.d (hsTnI) is nega.ively correla.ed with Hb a.d HDL (r. -0.333, p, 0.009: r. 0.324, p, 0.011). a.M： To observe the imba.a.ce between T helper cell Th1 a.d Th2 cytokines in severa. chronic hepa.itis disea.e a. different sta.es of disea.e progression. METHODS： We mea.ured the cytokine levels of Thl （IL-2 a.d IL-2R）, Th2 （IL-10） a.d the pro-infla.ma.ory cytokines （IL-6 a.d IL-6R a.d TNF a.d TNF-RI a.d II） by the ELISa.technique in the sera.of 33 hepa.ocellula. ca.cinoma.（HCC） pa.ients a.d 20 chronic liver disea.e （CLD） pa.ients. In a.dition, 20 a.ymptoma.ic hepa.itis C virus ca.riers a.d 20 hea.thy subjects nega.ive for hepa.itis C virus（HCV） ma.kers served a. controls. RESULTS： a.ti-HCV a.tibodies were found to be positive in 94% of HCC ca.es a.d 75% of CLD ca.es. On the other ha.d, HCV viremia.wa. detected using RT- PCR in 67% of HCC ca.es a.d 65% of CLD ca.es. HBsa. wa. positive in 9% of HCC ca.es a.d 30% of CLD ca.es. a.so bilha.zia.-a. wa. positive in 55% of HCC ca.es, 65% of CLD ca.es a.d in 70% of a.ymptoma.ic ca.riers （a.C）. HCC pa.ients ha. significa.tly higher va.ues of IL- 2R, TNF-RII （P〈0.001）, a.d TNF-RI （P〉0.05）, but lower TNFα （P〈0.001） a.d IL-6 （P = 0.032） in compa.ison to a.C. But, in compa.ison to non-ca.cer controls, HCC pa.ients ha. higher va.ues of IL-2R, IL-6R, TNF-RI a.d TNF-RII, but lower TNF-α （P〈0.001）. CLD pa.ients ha. higher IL-2R, TNF-RI, a.d TNF-RII （P〈0.001） tha. a.C. But, in compa.ison to non-ca.cer controls, CLD pa.ients ha. higher va.ues of IL-2R, TNF-RI a.d TNF-RII, but lower TNF-α （P〈0.001）. IL-10 wa. higher （though not significa.tly） in HCC a.d CLD pa.ients tha. in symptoma.ic ca.riers a.d non-ca.cer controls. CONCLUSION： Liver disea.e progression from CLD to HCC due to HCV genotype-4 infection is a.socia.ed with a. imba.a.ce between Th1 a.d Th2 cytokines. IL-2R, TNF-RI, a.d TNF-RII could be used a. potentia. ma.kers.
