In s.ngle-atom catalys.s.s.Cs.,the s.ngle atoms.are often expos.d as.protrus.ons.above the *** s.lvent molecules.in the electrocatalytic environment can interact or even bind to thes. coordination-uns.turated s.ngle atoms.and thus.influence the reaction proces.,but this.has.not been s.udied in *** this.w.rk,w. s.s.ematically inves.igate the thermodynamics.of CO_(2)reduction reaction(CO_(2)RR)to CO over Mos.(2)-s.pported s.ngle metal atom catalys.s.TM@Mos.(2),TM=trans.tion metal)under vacuum and explicit s.lvent environments.us.ng dens.ty functional *** addition,the ab initio molecular dynamics.res.lts.s.ow.that explicit H_(2)O molecules.can coordinate to the TM s.te and undergo competitive ads.rption w.th the CO_(2)RR intermediates.w.ich s.gnificantly affects.the energy and conformation of the CO_(2)RR *** s.ructure analys.s.reveals.that the occupying H_(2)O molecules.change the electronic s.ate of s.ngle atom and further influence the ads.rption s.rength of different CO_(2)RR *** w.rk s.ow. that w.ter molecules.can not only act as.ligands.to influence the electronic s.ate of TM,but als. affect the energy and conformation of CO_(2)RR intermediates.w.ich highlights.the important role of occupying H_(2)O molecules.at the s.ngle-atom s.tes.in CO_(2)RR and provides.us.ful ins.ghts.for the des.gn of s.Cs.for efficient CO_(2)RR.

The s.ntered Nd Fe B permanent magnets.are w.dely us.d in various.indus.ries.becaus. of their excellent magnetic and comprehens.ve properties. How.ver, they are s.rious.y hindered to further developments.and applications.ow.ng to its.poor corros.on res.s.ance. In this.paper,TiO2/acrylic res.n compos.te coatings.w.re s.cces.fully prepared on the s.ntered Nd Fe B permanent magnets.by electrochemical depos.tion for the firs. time, and the corros.on behaviors.w.re inves.igated by us.ng immers.on tes.ing and potentiodynamic polarization tes.s. It is.found that the coating is.a compos.te, being compos.d of polymerized acrylic res.n as.the matrix and nano-rutile TiO2particles.-200 nm） as.the reinforcements. It is.about25 lm in thicknes. and its.s.rface and cros.-s.ction exhibit uniform and s.ooth w.th no pores. cracks. and other defects. Compared w.th thos. of the uncoated Nd Fe B magnets. the w.ight los. of the coated s.mples.immers.d in H2s.4 s.lution reduces.by tw. orders.of magnitude,corros.on current dens.ty decreas.s.by four orders.of magnitude, and the corros.on potential of the coated s.mple is.s.ifted in the noble direction by 400 m V. The mechanis.s.of corros.ve res.s.ance enhancement w.re dis.us.ed.

IrRu bimetallic oxides.are recognized as.the promis.ng acidic oxygen evolution reaction(OER)catalys.s.but breaking the trade-off betw.en their activity and s.ability is.an unres.lved ***,addres.ing the is.ues.of mas. trans.ort obs.ruction of IrRu bimetallic oxides.under high current remains.a challenge for the development of proton exchange membrane w.ter electrolys.s.PEM-w.).Herein,w. prepared an IrRuO_(x)nanomes.es.IrRuO_(x)NMs.w.th high coordination number(CN)of Ir-O-Ru bonds.in a mixed molten s.lt w.th high s.lubility of the Ir/Ru precurs.r.X-ray abs.rption s.ectros.opy analys.s.revealed that the IrRuO_(x)NMs.pos.es. high coordination number of Ir-O-Ru bonds.CNIr-O-Ru=5.6)w.th a dis.ance of 3.18Å.Moreover,the nanomes. s.ructures.of IrRuO_(x)NMs.provided hierarchical channels.to accelerate the trans.ort of oxygen and w.ter,thus.further improving the electrochemical ***,the IrRuO_(x)NMs.as.OER catalys.s.can s.multaneous.y achieve high activity and s.ability w.th low.overpotential of 196 mV to reach 10 mA·cm^(−2)and s.ightly increas. by 70 mV over 650 h *** electrochemical mas. s.ectrometry tes.s.s.gges. that the preferred OER mechanis. for IrRuO_(x)NMs.is.the ads.rbent evolution mechanis.,w.ich is.beneficial for the robus. s.ructural s.ability.

Herein, tw. heterometallic metal coordination polymers.are cons.ructed via the “carbonatetemplate” method, formulated as.{[Gd_(18)Ni_(24)(IDA)_(22)(CO_(3))_(7)(μ_(3)-OH)_(32)(μ_(2)-OH)_(3)(H_(2)O)_(5)Cl]·Cl_(8)·(H_(2)O)_(14)}nand{[Eu_(18)Ni_(23.5)(IDA)_(22)(CO_(3)_(7)(μ_(3)-OH)_(32)(H_(2)O)_(5)(IN)(CH_(3)COO)_(2)(NH_(2)CH_(2)COO)Cl]·C_(l6)·(H_(2)O)_(17)}n[abbreviated as.1-(Gd_(18)Ni_(24))nand 2-(Eu_(18)Ni_(23.5))n res.ectively;H_(2)IDA = iminodiacetic acid;HIN = is.nicotinic acid]. Concerning the s.ructures. compounds.1-(Gd_(18)Ni_(24))nand 2-(Eu_(18)Ni_(23.5))nboth feature the one-dimens.onal(1D) chain-like s.ructure w.ich is.rarely reported in high-nuclearity metal complexes. Meanw.ile, the large pres.nces.of Gd3+ ions.in compound 1-(Gd18Ni24)nare conducive to the fantas.ic MCE, and the value of-Δs.(m)is.35.30 J kg^(-1)K^(-1) at 3.0 K and ΔH = 7.0 T. And more s.gnificantly, compound 1-Gd_(18)Ni_(24)n s.ow. the large low.field magnetic entropy change(-Δs.(m)= 20.95 J kg(-1) K(-1) at 2.0 K and ΔH = 2.0 T)among the publis.ed 3 d-4 f mixed metal clus.ers.

The diamond s.ructured template w.s.coated w.th Ni-P by electroles. plating. Finally, the template w.s.removed by high temperature calcinations. The dens.ty of the hollow.tube nickel materials.is.about 20 mg/cm3. The morphology and compos.tion of the res.ltant materials.w.re characterized by s.anning electron micros.ope, energy-dis.ers.ve s.ectrometry, and X-ray diffraction. The res.lts.s.ow.d that the s.rface of the Ni film w.s.uniform w.th the thicknes. of 4 gm. The mechanical property w.s.als. meas.red by s.res. and s.rain tes.er. The maximum compres.ion s.res. can be reached to 40.6 KPa.
