Multi-Stage-Based Siamese Neural Network for Seal Image Recognition

Seal authentication is an important task for verifying the authenticity of stamped seals used in various domains to protect legal documents from tampering and *** seal inspection is commonly audited manually to ensure document ***,manual assessment of seal images is tedious and laborintensive due to human errors,inconsistent placement,and completeness of the *** image recognition systems are inadequate enough to identify seal types accurately,necessitating a neural network-based method for seal image ***,neural network-based classification algorithms,such as Residual Networks(ResNet)andVisualGeometryGroup with 16 layers(VGG16)yield suboptimal recognition rates on stamp ***,the fixed training data categories make handling new categories to be a challenging *** paper proposes amulti-stage seal recognition algorithmbased on Siamese network to overcome these ***,the seal image is pre-processed by applying an image rotation correction module based on Histogram of Oriented Gradients(HOG).Secondly,the similarity between input seal image pairs is measured by utilizing a similarity comparison module based on the Siamese ***,we compare the results with the pre-stored standard seal template images in the database to obtain the seal *** evaluate the performance of the proposed method,we further create a new seal image dataset that contains two subsets with 210,000 valid labeled pairs in *** proposed work has a practical significance in industries where automatic seal authentication is essential as in legal,financial,and governmental sectors,where automatic seal recognition can enhance document security and streamline validation ***,the experimental results show that the proposed multi-stage method for seal image recognition outperforms state-of-the-art methods on the two established datasets.

Related to the growth of data sharing on the Internet and the wide-spread use of digital media,multimedia security and copyright protection have become of broad *** cryptography(VC)is a method of sharing a secret image between a group of participants,where certain groups of participants are defined as qualified and may combine their share of the image to obtain the original,and certain other groups are defined as prohibited,and even if they combine knowledge of their parts,they can’t obtain any information on the secret *** visual cryptography is one of the techniques which used to transmit the secrete image under the cover *** vision systems are connected to visual *** black and white image was originally used as a hidden *** order to achieve the owner’s copy right security based on visual cryptography,a watermarking algorithm is *** suggest an approach in this paper to hide multiple images in video by meaningful shares using one binary *** a common share,which we refer to as a smart key,we can decrypt several images *** on a given share,the smart key decrypts several hidden *** smart key is printed on transparency and the shares are involved in video and decryption is performed by physically superimposing the transparency on the *** binary,grayscale,and color images,we test the proposed method.

Colorectal carcinoma(CRC)is one such dispersed cancer globally and also prominent one in causing cancer-based ***,pathologists execute CRC diagnosis through visible scrutinizing under the microscope the resected tissue samples,stained and fixed through Haematoxylin and Eosin(H&E).The advancement of graphical processing systems has resulted in high potentiality for deep learning(DL)techniques in interpretating visual anatomy from high resolution medical *** study develops a slime mould algorithm with deep transfer learning enabled colorectal cancer detection and classification(SMADTL-CCDC)*** presented SMADTL-CCDC technique intends to appropriately recognize the occurrence of colorectal *** accomplish this,the SMADTLCCDC model initially undergoes pre-processing to improve the input image *** addition,a dense-EfficientNet technique was employed to extract feature vectors from the pre-processed ***,SMA with Discrete Hopfield neural network(DHNN)method was applied for the recognition and classification of colorectal *** utilization of SMA assists in appropriately selecting the parameters involved in the DHNN approach.A wide range of experiments was implemented on benchmark datasets to assess the classification performance.A comprehensive comparative study highlighted the better performance of the SMADTL-CDC model over the recent approaches.

Radarsat observations and forecasting of oil slick trajectory movements

RADARSAT data have a potential role for coastal pollution monitoring. This study presents a new approach to detect and forecast oil slick trajectory movements. The oil slick trajectory movements is based on the tidal current effects and Fay's algorithm for oil slick spreading mechanisms. The oil spill trajectory model contains the integration between Doppler frequency shift model and Lagrangian model. Doppler frequency shift model implemented to simulate tidal current pattern from RADARSAT data while the Lagrangian model used to predict oil spill spreading pattern. The classical Fay's algorithm was implemented with the two models to simulate the oil spill trajectory *** study shows that the slick lengths are effected by tidal current V component with maximum velocity of 1.4 m/s. This indicates that oil slick trajectory path is moved towards the north direction. The oil slick parcels are accumulated along the coastline after 48 h. The analysis indicated that tidal current V components were the dominant forcing for oil slick spreading.

Utility of endoscopic ultrasound in pancreatitis:A review

The close proximity of the endoscopic ultrasound probe to the pancreas results in superior spatial resolution compared to CT scan and MRI. In addition, endoscopic ultrasound (EUS) is a minimally invasive procedure that does not share the relatively high complication rate of ERCP. Due to these advantages, EUS has evolved into an important technique to assess pancreatobiliary disease. This review will discuss the role of EUS in patients with pancreatitis. The indications can be divided into acute pancreatitis and chronic pancreatitis. In acute pancreatitis, EUS is used to determine the etiology; in suspected chronic pancreatitis it is helpful to establish the diagnosis. Lastly, this review will discuss biliary pancreatitis with suspicion for persistent choledocholithiasis.

The paper explores a framework combining remote sensing and GIS-cellular automata(CA)concepts aimed at improving the modeling of unauthorized land use *** sensing data have been used in urban modeling and analysis,the use of high-resolution remote sensing data in assessing unauthorized development is quite *** work has demonstrated systematic combination utilization of geospatial analyses tools to acquire a new level of information to enable urban modeling and sprawl analysis in assisting urban sustainable *** this study,Kuantan city,Malaysia was selected in simulation of the unauthorized land use with CA concept for a period of 15 years(20002015),with main input time-series land use observation from 1995 to *** 2000 and 2005 land use input was also used as calibrated and test assessment of the *** results show excellent agreement between in-situ changes of the unauthorized land use classes and the corresponding simulated classes within the same *** conclusion,CA model can lead to new levels of understanding of how urban areas grow and change as in view of digital earth aspiration.

Development of AZ91/SiC surface composite by FSP:effect of vibration and process parameters on microstructure and mechanical characteristics

A surface composite layer enhances the mechanical characteristics of a surface while retaining the properties of the base *** stir processing(FSP)is a method for forming surface metal matrix composites(SMMCs)that reinforce a surface with *** the current study,a new method entitled friction stir vibration processing(FSVP)was applied to form SMMCs on the surface of AZ91 magnesium alloy with SiC particles as the reinforcing *** to FSP,in FSVP,the workpiece was vibrated normal to the processing line while the tool rotated and *** microstructure and mechanical properties of friction stir(FS)and friction stir vibration(FSV)processed specimens were ***,the effects of vibration frequency and process parameters on different characteristics of FS and FSV processed specimens were *** results showed that the stir zone grains for FSV processed specimens were finer than those for FS processed specimens,and the second phase particles(SiC particles)had a more homogenous distribution in the former specimens than in the latter *** was related to the effect of workpiece vibration during FSVP,which increased the material deformation and led to enhanced dynamic recrystallization and the breakdown of agglomerated SiC *** results indicated that the stir zone grain size decreased,and the distribution homogeneity of the SiC particles increased as vibration frequency *** was also observed that the stir zone grain size increased,and the mechanical properties of the processed specimens decreased as tool rotation speed increased.

3-D reconstruction of coastal bathymetry from AIRSAR/POLSAR data

This paper introduces a new method for reconstructing three-dimensional （3D） coastal bathymetry changes from Airborne AIRSAR/POLSAR synthetic aperture data. The new method is based on integration between fuzzy B-spline and Volterra algorithm. Volterra algorithm is used to simulate the ocean surface current from AIRSAR/POLSAR data. Then, the ocean surface current information used as input for continuity equation to estimate the water depths from AIRSAR/POLSAR data. This study shows that 3D ocean bathymetry can be reconstructed from AIRSAR/POLSAR data with root mean square error of ±0.03 m.

3-D visualizations of coastal bathymetry by utilization of airborne TOPSAR polarized data

Multi-frequency C and L bands in the TOPSAR data have been utilized to reconstruct three-dimensional(3-D)bathymetry *** main objective of this study is to utilize fuzzy arithmetic to reduce the errors arising from speckle in synthetic aperture radar(SAR)data when constructing ocean bathymetry from polarized SAR *** doing so,two 3-D surface models,the Volterra algorithm and a fuzzy B-spline(FBS)algorithm,which construct a global topological structure between the data points,were used to support an approximation to the real *** algorithm was used to express the non-linearity of TOPSAR data intensity gradient based on the action balance equation(ABC).In this context,a first-order kernel of Volterra algorithm was used to express ABC *** inverse of Volterra algorithm then performed to simulate 2-D current velocities from CVV and LHH ***,the 2-D continuity equation then used to estimate the water *** order to reconstruct 3-D bathymetry pattern,the FBS has been performed to water depth information which was estimated from 2-D continuity *** best reconstruction of coastal bathymetry of the test site in Kuala Terengganu,Malaysia,was obtained with polarized L and C bands SAR acquired with HH and VV polarizations,*** 10 m spatial resolution of TOPSAR data,bias of0.004 m,the standard error mean of 0.023 m,r2 value of 0.95,and 90%confidence intervals in depth determination was obtained with LHH band.
