Carbon isotope compositions of both sedimentary carbonate and organic matter can be used as key proxies of the global carbon cycle and of its evolution through time,as long as they are acquired from waters where the dissolved inorganic carbon(DIC)is in isotope equilibrium with the atmospheric ***,in shallow water platforms and epeiric settings,the influence of local to regional parameters on carbon cycling may lead to DIG isotope variations unrelated to the global carbon *** may be especially true for the terminal Neoproterozoic,when Gondwana assembly isolated waters masses from the global ocean,and extreme positive and negative carbon isotope excursions are recorded,potentially decoupled from global *** improve our understanding on the type of information recorded by these excursions,we investigate the pairedδ^13Ccarb andδ^13Corg evolution for an increasingly restricted late Ediacaran-Cambrian foreland system in the West Gondwana interior:the basal Bambui *** succession represents a 1~(st)-order sedimentary sequence and records two majorδ^13Ccarb excursions in its two lowermost lower-rank *** basal cap carbonate interval at the base of the first sequence,deposited when the basin was connected to the ocean,hosts antithetical negative and positive excursions forδ^13Ccarb andδ^13Corg,respectively,resulting inΔ^13C values lower than 25‰.From the top of the basal sequence upwards,an extremely positiveδ^13Ccarb excursion is coupled toδ^13Corg,reaching values of+14‰and-14‰,*** positive excursion represents a remarkable basin-wide carbon isotope feature of the Bambui Group that occurs with only minor changes inΔ^13C values,suggesting change in the DIC isotope *** argue that this regional isotopic excursion is related to a disconnection between the intrabasinal and the global carbon *** extreme carbon isotope excursion may have been a product of a disequilibria between the basin DIC and atmospheric CO2

The service life of refractories in ladle walls is limited by corrosion,abrasion,thermal shock and structural spalling mechanisms. When the ladle is lined with bricks they typically need to be completely removed after a certain number of heats to be replaced by new bricks of the same size as the original bricks. Not so for monolithic ladle linings. At the end of their service life the remains of the castable can almost completely be recycled as they can in fact stay in place. Only the worn-out part of the lining has to be replaced by a new castable. 20%-50% of the initial ladle lining can be recycled ＂insitu＂. The installation can efficiently be done by shotcreting technics. But it requires a castable that resists slag penetration very well. Castables based on a calcium magnesium aluminate bond provide the required penetration resistance. Pumping and shotcreting is very well adapted for repairs of blast furnace shafts,torpedo cars,hot metal and steel ladle linings[1]. However,very little is published about how a good pumping and shotcreting performance can be achieved when the installation has to be done under extreme weather conditions. At high ambient temperature the challenge is to ensure a good pumping result without early castable stiffening. Blockage of the pump would be the consequence. At low ambient temperature the difficulty is to de-activate the highly efficient deflocculant fast enough with a gelling agent added intothe wet mix at the nozzle to prevent the gunned material slipping off the wall. This paper studies strategies how to achieve good installed properties even at extreme ambient temperatures. The interactions between deflocculants,retarders,gelling agents,and calcium magnesium aluminate binder as a function of temperature are studied for an alumina- spinel ladle castable. Mussels from two sites within the Baltic mussel (Mytilus edulis × M. trossulus) hybrid zone were used in a comparative study on the effects of salinity-changing rates on filtration activity. The acute effect of varying salinity-changing rates was found to be similar in M. edulis from the brackish Great Belt and in M. trossulus from the low saline Central Baltic Sea, and the relationships could be described by linear regression lines through 0.0 indicating that the acute effect of deteriorating conditions at decreasing salinities is the opposite as for improving conditions when the salinity is subsequently increased. Further, both M. edulis and M. trossulus acclimatized to 20 psu reacted to an acute salinity change to 6.5 psu by immediately closing their valves whereupon the filtration rate gradually increased during the following days, but only M. trossulus had completely acclimatized to 6.5 psu within 5 days which may be explained by different genotypes of M. edulis and M. trossulus which probably reflected an evolutionary adaptation of the latter to survive in the stable low-salinity Baltic Sea.

The ablation properties of two laminated composites, having both a glass ceramic matrix and different kinds of fibers (C or SiC) with the same architecture, are evaluated and compared. Ablation tests are performed using an oxyacetylene torch on samples having two different thicknesses. Mass loss and ablation depth are measured after flame exposure. The results obtained show that the decomposition of SiC fibers during thermal exposure has a significant impact on ablation behavior. Oxidation of SiC produces a liquid SiO2 film at the top of the material during ablation. This leads to an improved ablation resistance compared to the glass ceramic matrix/C composite, especially in case of successive flame exposures where the SiO2 film consumes a substantial fraction of the heat flow during its liquefaction upon re-heating.

This research addressed to organizations, is a contribution to the resolution of industrial communicative practices. The world should show the place occupied by latter in the management of organizations in the Congo and to answer the question, analyze its functions the latter, especially internally, that will focus on the strategic, relational study hierarchies and involvement of employees. So in order to properly address this memory work, we took the case of microfinance in the Republic of Congo, which is MUCODEC. Through this study we show how this micro finance explores internally with its environment and by what means or tool they use to convey information within the organization. We consider the same functions and types of organizational communication that influences how direct and indirect organizational structure of hierarchies and employees. Our study is a typical example of multidimensional research. It has compiled and summarized data at the individual level to operationalize the concepts of organizational level such as organizational structure and internal communication. The main multidimensional nature of the study was discussed with the functional analysis. Data were collected by conducting a survey of agents of the firm are anonymous. The results suggest that the organizational structure and the system of internal strategy communication were associated with salaries relationships organization, playing the role of the membership of these in the company. Specifically commitment, trust and satisfaction. In addition, the communication was associated symmetric positive community relations. Finally, the favorable communication function of the organic structure related to management and exchange relationships is positively related to the good image of the organization. On the other hand the lack of communicative political causes of noise or conflict within the organization.

In this paper, we review the social determinants of health in older adults and their complex interrelationship with medical diseases. Also, we provide recommendations to address these determinants in the integrated healthcare plan. The social determinants in older adults and its influence in health outcomes have been studied for decades. There is solid evidence for the interrelationship between social factors and the health of individuals and populations;however, these studies are unable to define their complex interrelatedness. Health is quite variable and depends on multiple biological and social factors such as genetics, country of origin, migrant status, etc. On the other hand, health status can affect social factors such as job or education. Addressing social determinants of health in the integrated healthcare plan is important for improving health outcomes and decreasing existing disparities in older adult health. We recommend a person-centered approach in which individualized interventions should be adopted by organizations to improve the health status of older adults at the national and global level. Some of our practical recommendations to better address the social determinants of health in clinical practice are EHR documentation strategies, screening tools, and the development of linkages to the world outside of the clinic and health system, including social services, community activities, collaborative work, and roles for insurance companies.

Optimization of Methane Production Based on Mixture Content of Sewage Sludge, Food Waste, and Glycerol

This paper presents bench scale experiments related to anaerobic co-digestion of aerobic sewage sludge from a pilot WWTP （waste water treatment plants）, raw glycerol from a biodiesel industry and food waste. Assays were conducted in 100 mL non-stirring penicillin vessels, at 30 ℃ and planned according to three optimization phases：（1） binary mixture of sewage sludge and FW （food waste）; （2） binary mixture of sewage sludge and glycerol; and （3） ternary mixture of sewage sludge, FW, and glycerol. In the first and second phases, the highest SMP （specific methane production） was achieved by 10% （v/v） FW and 0.5% （v/v） glycerol mixtures. The optimization of the ternary mixture during the third phase was reached by the combination of 10% （v/v） FW and 0.4% （v/v） glycerol. Despite the low SMP value, the addition of glycerol and FW contributed to doubling the SMP value of the sludge sample control.

目的 :研究正常人外周血单核细胞在UV或γ辐射后hHR2 1sp基因的转录表达 ,进一步分析hHR2 1sp基因在fanconisanemia(FA)单核细胞和造血干细胞的转录表达水平及发病机制中的作用。方法 :对正常人外周血单核细胞在UV或γ辐射后不同时间提取细胞总RNA ,通过RT -PCR、southern杂交、以 β -actin为内参照放射影像对hHR2 1sp基因的转录表达水平进行检测 ,进一步检测FA病人外周血单核细胞和骨髓造血细胞hHR2 1sp基因的表达水平。结果 :正常外周血单核细胞在UV或γ -辐射后不同时间hHR2 1sp基因转录表达都有所变化。正常人外周血单核细胞与对照组比较在 80J/m2 UV辐射hHR2 1sp表达于 3h开始增加 ;在 6h表达水平最高 ,与正常对照有 2倍多差异 ,而在 9h表达有所降低 ;而γ -辐射 5Gy辐射 6h增加明显 ,在 9h后有所降低与正常对照有 2倍差异。检测发现FA病人单核细胞与正常人外周血单核细胞hHR2 1sp基因表达无明显差异 ;但FA病人造血干细胞与正常组骨髓细胞相比hHR2 1sp基因表达降低显著 ,有 1倍多差异。结论 :实验结果表明hHR2 1sp在FA病人造血干细胞表达缺陷 ,提示hHR2 1sp基因表达降低可影响FA病人造血干细胞和DNA双链断裂修复功能是FA发病机制之一。
