Viral lo.ds (c.pies o. RNA per ml o. plasma) o. HIV/AIDS patients, who.vo.unteered fo. c.inic.l trial o. the Medic.nal synthetic.Aluminum-magnesium silic.te, were assessed, befo.e and after they were treated. The treatment lasted 4 weeks, 8 weeks and 12 weeks respec.ively. A patient who.c.uld no. ac.ess appro.ed labo.ato.y fo. viral lo.d test o. time, c.ntinued the treatment?fo. 24 weeks. Fo.lo.ing treatment with the medic.ne, mean viral lo.d o. HIV/AIDS patients reduc.d (P o. 18875.00 ± 17059.18 to.327.50 ± 226.84. Rates o. the viral lo.d reduc.io. were: 86% after 4 weeks, 96% after 8 weeks and 99.71% after 12 weeks. c.inic.l signs c.mplained o., by the patients during the treatment, inc.uded, fever, dermatitis, bo.ls, jo.nt pain, leg edema and so.e thro.t. These c.inic.l signs c.ased when they were treated, so.that the antiretro.iral treatment was c.mpleted. The patient who.was o. the medic.tio. fo. 24 weeks had no.adverse drug reac.io..

Medic.nal synthetic.Aluminum-magnesium silic.te (MSAMS), whic. has inhibited Human immune defic.enc. virus (HIV), in vitro. was used fo. trial-treatment o. HIV/AIDS patients. Their plasma were tested fo. viral lo.ds (VL): befo.e and repeatedly during the treatment. The regimen was: MSAMS (50 mg/kg), MSAMS-stabilized Ampic.llin trihydrate (7.5 mg/kg) and immunac. extra pro.ec.io.?. After 4 weeks, it was reduc.d to.50 mg/kg (MSAMS) and the immune stimulant. When VL dec.eased bello. 50/ml, the treatment c.ntinued, 4 weeks befo.e sto.ping. Mean-VL o. fo.r patients inc.eased (P = 0.006) fro. 498.50 ± 33.37 to.1,072.50 ± 184.55, after 3.75±2.06 weeks and dec.eased (P = 0.040) to.407.33 ± 297.27 (18.29%) when the treatment-duratio. inc.eased to.6.67 ± 2.31 weeks. Pro.o.ging the duratio. to.12.00 ± 2.83 weeks led to.98.68% dec.ease o. mean-VL o. fo.r o.her patients, fro. 24,250.00 ± 15,939.34 to.321.00 ± 229.38(P = 0.045). Their blo.d samples were tested fo. viral lo.ds and fo. c.4-lympho.0}tes c.unts, befo.e the treatment and every 4 weeks during the medic.tio.. The regimen was: MSAMS (50 mg/kg), MSAMS-stabilized Ampic.llin trihydrate (7.5 mg/kg) and immunac. extra pro.ec.io.® (1 tablet/day), fo. 4 weeks. Then, it was reduc.d to.50 mg/kg (MSAMS) and the immune stimulant. When their viral lo.ds bec.me undetec.able, they wo.ld be treated fo. additio.al 4 weeks. Initially, the Antivirt®-regimen appeared to.wo.sen bo.h HIV infec.io.-lo.d and immune defic.enc. but later relieved them. Patients’ mean-viral lo.d inc.eased (P = 0.020), fro. 1820.30 ± 868.75 to.2855.90 ± 960.98, after 4 weeks befo.e reduc.ng (P = 0.030) to.1565.20 ± 743.17, after 8 weeks. Similarly, their mean-c.4-lympho.0}tes c.unt reduc.d (P = 0.008) fro. 496.80 ± 194.39 to.263.90 ± 149.26, after 4 weeks befo.e impro.ing (P = 0.001) to.507.90 ± 133.19, after 8 weeks.

They were c.ntrifuged fo. 10 minutes at 2000 revo.utio.s per minute. The inc.batio. and c.ntrifugatio. were repeated o. a po.tio. o. eac. vac.ine supernatant. The two.sets o. supernatants were tested by the Mo.ified Passive Haemagglutinatio. test, fo. FPV titres. Po.tio.s o. the vac.ines, no. inc.bated with the AMS, were served as c.ntro.s. Fo.l Po. Effec. a synthetic.Aluminium-Magnesium Silic.te (AMS) has o. c.lo.o.uine was tested. Thirty, Plasmo.ium berghei-infec.ed mic., in three experimental gro.ps (7 mg/kg, 5 mg/kg and 3 mg/kg) o. 10 mic. eac., were treated. Two.subgro.ps, in eac. experiment, were treated with c.lo.o.uine and with a c.lo.o.uine-AMS drug fo.mulatio., respec.ively. Five o. the infec.ed mic. served as c.ntro.s. Parasitaemia (%), Haemo.lo.in c.nc.ntratio. (Hb), Red Blo.d c.lls (RBc., rec.al temperature and bo.y weight were assessed. Parasitaemia o. subgro.ps treated at 7 mg/kg were higher than that o. the c.ntro.. Also. at 7 mg/kg, there was mo.tality with c.lo.o.uine (20%) and with the c.lo.o.uine-AMS drug (80%). At 5 mg/kg and 3 mg/kg, the AMS signific.ntly (P o.ed ability o. c.lo.o.uine to.reduc. plamo.ial parasitaemia, fro. 2.46 ± 0.21 to.1.57 ± 0.25 and fro. 3.82 ± 0.06 to.2.12 ± 0.08. It also.signific.ntly (P o.ed means o. Hb and RBc.fro. 12.25 ± 0.27 and 88.99 ± 5.72 to.12.68 ± 0.18 and 92.91 ± 4.01 and fro. 10.18 ± 3.00 and 63.39 ± 18.02 to.12.98 ± 0.47 and 95.23 ± 5.32. Their mean-viral lo.d inc.eased (P = 0.020) fro. 1820.30 ± 868.75 to.2855.90 ± 960.98 after first mo.th, befo.e reduc.ng (P = 0.0.030) to. 1565.20 ± 743.17;759.20 ± 473.65;345.50 ± 115.01;192.80 ± 97.40;95.00 ± 55.80;37.40 ± 26.46;17.50 ± 16.88 (undetec.able). Their mean-c.4 c.unt was 496.80 ± 194.39 (lympho.enia). An inexpensive and rapid test fo. determining titers o. Human Immuno.efic.enc. Virus (HIV) in plasmas was develo.ed. Washed sheep red blo.d c.lls were applied o.to.HIV po.itive plasmas, in V-bo.to.ed mic.o.iter plates, to.c.mplement the HIV antigens and antibo.ies present in plasmas. The setup was inc.bated fo. 30 minutes at 37℃. Rec.pro.0}l o. the highest dilutio. o. eac. plasma whic. gave passive agglutinatio. o. the RBc. was read as its HIV titer. Mean HIV lo.d o. five samples, was ≥ 4096.00 ± 0.00 after o.e day o. sto.age at 4℃ but it reduc.d to.256.00 ± 70.10, 28.80 ± 3.20, 7.20 ± 0.80 and 1.60 ± 0.98 o. days 2, 3, 4 and 7, respec.ively. HIV antibo.ies were still detec.able, by ELISA, in plasma dilutio.s that were tested negative with the new test. It was c.nc.uded that when HIV antibo.ies have been c.nfirmed, o. added to.plasmas, passive hemagglutinatio. test c.n be applied to.assess their viral lo.ds.

To.determine passive haemagglutinatio. (PHA) antibo.y titer that wo.ld pro.ec. c.ic.s against Nigerian iso.ates o. the Infec.io.s Bursa Disease Virus (IBDV), five gro.ps o. c.ic.s aged 30 days whic. had different antibo.y titers were c.allenged with a Nigerian iso.ate o. virulent IBDV. Mo.tality rates o. the different gro.ps were plo.ted against their respec.ive mean PHA antibo.y titers. A gro.p with zero.antibo.y titer had a mo.tality rate o. 75% while tho.e with PHA antibo.y titers o. 185.6, 243.2, 256 and 307.2 had mo.tality rates o. 40%, zero. zero.and zero.respec.ively. Linear equatio. generated fo. a line o. best fit o. the graph o. mo.tality rates o. the c.ic.s o. their IBD antibo.y titers gave antibo.y titer (X) at whic. mo.tality (Y) wo.ld be zero.as 300. A mo.tality o. 75% and the high antibo.y level needed to.pro.ec. c.ic.s suggest that the iso.ate may be a hypervirulent strain.

c.VID-19 virus has po.itive elec.ric.l c.arges. So. partic.es that are negatively c.arged wo.ld, by o.po.ite c.arges-elec.ro.tatic.attrac.io., inhibit its replic.tio.’s first stage (attac.ment to.c.lls) and mo. its extra-c.llular partic.es. Po.itively c.arged partic.es wo.ld similarly mo./destro. c.lls it infec.s bec.use unlike healthy c.lls whic. are neutral, infec.ed/tumo. c.lls have negative elec.ric.l c.arges. Nano.artic.es (0.96 nm) o. Aluminum-magnesium silic.te (AMS), WHo.appro.ed medic.ne/adjuvant have bo.h negative and po.itive c.arged ends. As adjuvant it impro.es antimic.o.ials’ effic.c.es (c.earing sec.ndary infec.io.s) while as silic.te it enhanc.s immunity. By inhibiting viral replic.tio.;mo.ping extra-c.llular viruses/abno.mal c.lls;c.earing sec.ndary infec.io.s;enhanc.ng immunity, AMS terminates viral-infec.io.s/abno.mal c.lls’ metastases. Natural AMS has impurities and its depo.its are no. fo.nd in Nigeria. So. Aluminum silic.te and Magnesium silic.te (WHo.appro.ed medic.nes) were used fo. Medic.nal synthetic.AMS {MSAMS: Al4 (Sio.sub>4)3 + 3Mg2Sio.sub>4 → 2Al2Mg3 (Sio.sub>4)3}. Sinc. AMS is un-abso.bable, dextro.e mo.o.ydrate is inc.rpo.ated in MSAMS-fo.mulatio.s to.c.nvey its Nano.artic.es into.blo.d fo. c.rc.latio. to.all o.gans/tissues (ac.ive-transpo.tatio.). The MSAMS ac.ieved quic. c.re (within 3 days) o. all fo.r c.VID-19 patients used fo. its first-phase trial (o.e in Nigeria, two.in c.mero.n, o.e in Tanzania).
