Discrete Software Reliability Growth Modeling for Errors of Different Severity Incorporating Change-point Concept

Several software reliability growth models （SRGM） have been developed to monitor the reliability growth during the testing phase of software development. In most of the existing research available in the literatures, it is considered that a similar testing effort is required on each debugging effort. However, in practice, different types of faults may require different amounts of testing efforts for their detection and removal. Consequently, faults are classified into three categories on the basis of severity： simple, hard and complex. This categorization may be extended to r type of faults on the basis of severity. Although some existing research in the literatures has incorporated this concept that fault removal rate （FRR） is different for different types of faults, they assume that the FRR remains constant during the overall testing period. On the contrary, it has been observed that as testing progresses, FRR changes due to changing testing strategy, skill, environment and personnel resources. In this paper, a general discrete SRGM is proposed for errors of different severity in software systems using the change-point concept. Then, the models are formulated for two particular environments. The models were validated on two real-life data sets. The results show better fit and wider applicability of the proposed models as to different types of failure datasets.

Quantum algorithms can be used to efficiently solve certain classically intractable problems by exploiting quantum ***, the effectiveness of quantum entanglement in quantum computing remains a question of debate. This study presents a new quantum algorithm that shows entanglement could provide advantages over both classical algorithms and quantum algorithms without entanglement. Experiments are implemented to demonstrate the proposed algorithm using superconducting *** show the viability of the algorithm and suggest that entanglement is essential in obtaining quantum speedup for certain problems in quantum computing. The study provides reliable and clear guidance for developing useful quantum algorithms.

Tectonic Setting of the Kadiri Schist Belt, Andhra Pradesh, India

Plate tectonic activity has played a critical role in the development of petrotectonic associations in the Kadiri schist belt. The calc alkaline association of basalt, andesite, dacite and rhyolite （BADR） is the signature volcanic rock suite of the convergent margin. The N-S belt has gone below the unconformity plane of Cuddapah sediments. In the northern part geochemical and structural attributes of the Kadiri greenstone belt is studied along with microscopic observations of selected samples. Harker diagram plots of major elements generally indicate a liquid line of descent from a common source, such that BADR rocks are derived from a common parent magma of basaltic to andesitic composition. These calc-alkaline volcanic rocks are formed at convergent margins where more silicic rocks represent more highly fractionated melt. All the litho-units of this greenstone belt indicate crush and strain effects. The stretched pebbles in the deformed volcanic matrix with tectonite development along with associated greenschist facies metamorphism, alteration and hydration is remarkable. Flow foliation plane with N-S strike and very low angle （5~ to 10~） easterly dip and N-S axial planar schistosity formed due to later phase isoclinal folding can be clearly identified in the field. Basic intrusives are quite common in the surrounding area. All the observations including the field setting and geochemistry clearly demonstrate ocean-continent subduction as the tectonic environment of the study area.

Objective:To explore the effect of herbal polyphenolics on filariasis in ***:Two herbal extracts,methanolic extracts of roots of Vitex negundo Linn.（Nirgundi） and leaves of Aegle marmelos Juss.（Beal） in different concentrations ranging from 40-80 ng/mL were tested for their antifilarial activity either alone or in combination with diethyl carbonate（DEC）（300μg/mL） and/or H2O2（0.5 mM）.Results:Combination of DEC and each extract had significant anti-filarial *** fractions of both extracts were not effective as crude herbal ***: Such unique pharmacodynamics reported in this study might provide new drug development stratagem against filariasis.

A class of relativistic astrophysical compact objects is analyzed in the modified Finch-Skea geometry described by the MIT bag model equation of state of interior matter,p=1/3(ρ-4B),where B is known as the bag constant.B plays an important role in determining the physical features and structure of strange *** consider the finite mass of the strange quark(m_(s)≠0) and study its effects on the stability of quark matter inside a *** note that the inclusion of strange quark mass affects the gross properties of the stellar configuration,such as maximum mass,surface red-shift,and the radius of strange quark *** apply our model physically,we consider three compact objects,namely,(ⅰ) VELA X-1,(ⅱ) 4U 1820-30,and(ⅲ) PSR J 1903+327,which are thought to be strange *** range of B is restricted from 57.55 to Bstable(MeV/fm3),for which strange matter might be stable relative to iron(^(56)Fe).However,we also observe that metastable and unstable strange matter depend on B and *** energy conditions hold well in this *** in terms of the Lagrangian perturbation of radial pressure is studied in this paper.

Restoration of dysregulated CC chemokine signaling for monocyte/macrophage chemotaxis in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma patients by neem leaf glycoprotein maximizes tumor cell cytotoxicity

Previous studies have shown that the CC chemokine receptor CCR5 is downregulated on monocyte/macrophage(MO/Mw)surfaces in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma(HNSCC)patients(stage IIIB).Ligands(RANTES,MIP-1a and MIP-1b)of this chemokine receptor were also secreted in lesser quantity from MO/Mw of HNSCC patients in comparison with healthy *** an aim to restore this dysregulated receptor–ligand signaling,we have used neem leaf glycoprotein(NLGP),a novel immunomodulator reported from our *** upregulated CCR5 expression,as evidenced from studies on MO/Mw of peripheral blood from HNSCC patients as well as healthy *** of RANTES,MIP-1a and MIP-1b was also upregulated following NLGP treatment of these cells in ***,NLGP has little effect on the expression of CCR5 and the ligand RANTES in oral cancer *** restored CCR5 receptor–ligand signaling seen in MO/Mw was reflected in improved CCR5-dependent,p38 mitogen-activated protein kinase(MAPK)-mediated migration of MO/Mw after NLGP treatment to a standard *** also induces better antigen presentation and simultaneous costimulation to effector T cells by MO/Mw by upregulating human leucocyte antigen(HLA)-ABC,CD80 and *** addition,NLGP-treated MO/Mw-primed T cells can effectively lyse tumor cells in *** effects of NLGP on monocyte migration and T cell-mediated oral tumor cell killing were further demonstrated in transwell assays with or without CCR5 *** results suggest a new approach in cancer immunotherapy by modulating dysregulated CCR5 signals from MO/Mw.

Insights into chondrule formation process and shock-thermal history of the Dergaon chondrite (H4-5)

The Dergaon fall represents a shock-melted H4-5 （S5） ordinary chondrite which includes at least ten textural varieties of chondrules and belongs to the high chondrule-matrix ratio type. Our study reveals that the chondrules are of diverse mineralogy with variable olivine-pyroxene ratios （Type Ⅱ）, igneous melt textures developed under variable cooling rates and formed through melt fractionations from two different melt reservoirs. Based on the experimental analogues, mineralogical associations and phase compositions, it is suggested that the Dergaon chondrules reflect two contrasting environments： a hot, dust-enriched and highly oxidized nebular environment through melting, without significant evapora- tion, and an arrested reducing environment concomitant with major evaporation loss of alkali and highly volatile trace elements. Coexistence of chlorapatite and merrillite suggests formation of the Dergaon matrix in an acidic accretionary environment. Textural integration and chemical homogenization occurred at - I atmospheric pressure and a mean temperature of 765 ℃ mark the radiogenic thermal event. Equilibrated shock features （olivine mosaicism, diaplectic plagioclase, polycrystalline troilite） due to an impact-induced thermal event reflect a shock pressure 〉45 GPa and temperature of 600 ℃. By contrast, the local disequilibrium shock features （silicate melt veins comprising of olivine crystallites, troilite melt veins and metal droplets） correspond to a shock pressure up to 75 GPa and temperature 〉950 ℃.

A new cost-based droop control method based upon generation cost and demand side cost management of the microgrid is proposed in this *** present,many droop control methods have been developed based on either the power rating or the generation cost of the distributed generation(DG)unit,without consideration of the demand side participation in the operation and *** exclusion might not be appropriate,if different types of consumers are connected in the micro-grid *** study proposes a droop control method considering both DG and load operating cost characteristics in order to minimize the generation cost of the micro-grid.

A single gate Ⅲ-Ⅴ junctionless tunnel field effect transistor（SG-JLTFET） has been reported which shows excellent dc characteristics at low power supply *** device has a thin uniformly n-type doped channel of GaSb *** antimonide which is grown epitaxially over silicon *** DC performance parameters such as I（on）,I（on）/I（off）,average and point subthreshold slope as well as device parameters for analog applications *** gm,transconductance generation efficiency gm/ID,various capacitances and the unity gain frequency fT are studied using a device *** with examining its endurance to short channel effects,the performances are also compared with a Silicon Dual Gate Junctionless Tunnel FET（DG-JLTFET）.The DC and small signal analog performance reflects that GaSb SG-JLTFET has immense purview for extreme high-frequency and low-power applications.
