In this paper a nonlinear Euler-Poisson-Darboux system is *** a first part,we proved the genericity of the hypergeometric functions in the development of exact solutions for such a system in some special cases leading to Bessel type differential ***,a finite difference scheme in two-dimensional case has been *** continuous system is transformed into an algebraic quasi linear discrete one leading to generalized Lyapunov-Sylvester *** discrete algebraic system is proved to be uniquely solvable,stable and convergent based on Lyapunov criterion of stability and Lax-Richtmyer equivalence theorem for the convergence.A numerical example has been provided at the end to illustrate the efficiency of the numerical scheme developed in section *** present method is thus proved to be more accurate than existing ones and lead to faster algorithms.

Ibandronate sodium monohydrate is a highly polar aliphatic compound that belongs to the bisphosphonate class,a widely used bone resorption *** aliphatic nature of ibandronate precludes direct photometric detection and its high polar-ity urged analysts to use ion-pairing agents in the mobile phase to promote retention in reversed-phase *** this work,a reversed-phase method for determination of ibandronate sodium monohydrate in pharmaceutical tablets is introduced by employing an online postcolumn ligand exchange reaction to enable photometric *** method offers for the first time the ability to separate the drug from its well-known impurities on conventional reversed-phase *** detection reac-tion depends on the ability of ibandronate and its degradation products to displace salicylate in the iron(III)salicylate complex,forming various colorless iron(III)complexes and showing a negative chromatographic signal for ibandronate and its degra-dants atλ_(max)=525 *** chromatographic separation was achieved using a Hypersil BDS C_(8) column(5μm particle size,150 mm×4.6 mm i.d.)and a mobile phase consisting of a mixture of aqueous formate buffer pH 3(pH 3,5 mM)and methanol in a ratio of 80:20%(v/v),delivered at a flow rate of 0.8 mL/*** postcolumn iron(III)salicylate reagent was prepared at 250μM in aqueous formate buffer,delivered using a syringe pump at a flow rate of 0.5 mL/*** proposed method was validated as per the guidelines of the International Conference on Harmonization Q2(R1)and was found linear over the range 40-120μg/mL(r=0.9995)with a limit of detection of 3.19μg/*** to currently reported methods,the proposed method is considerably simpler,faster,cheaper,and adequately sensitive and makes use of the most popular LC detectors.

The multifractal formalism for single measure is reviewed. Next, a mixed generalized multifractal formalism is introduced which extends the multifractal formalism of a single measure based on generalizations of the Hausdorff and packing measures to a vector of simultaneously many measures. Borel-Cantelli and Large deviations Theorems are extended to higher orders and thus applied for the validity of the new variant of the multifractal formalism for some special cases of multi-doubling type measures.

The rare metals of Abu Dabbab area in the Central Eastern Desert of Egypt have been investigated for their mineralogy and conditions of precipitation using combination of EMPA and fluid inclusions studies,in order to delineate the source,mechanism of formation and evolutionary model for these economic ***(Ta-Nb-Sn)-bearing minerals at the Abu Dabbab area include columbite group minerals(CGMs),wodginite and *** both granitic intrusion and its enclosed quartz veins,most of zoned CGMs and cassiterite grains are commonly characterized by a well-developed twostage ***,columbite-(Mn)(CGM-Ⅰ)represents the early formed phase of CGMs that is characterized by high Mn#values(0.64-0.92)with quite low Ta#values(0.13-0.49).It was invaded by Ta-rich phases including tantalite-(Mn)(CGM-Ⅱ;Ta#=0.13-0.49)and wodginite,which contain high Ta_(2)O_(5)and SnO_(2)(17.91 wt.%).In regard to cassiterite,there are distinct compositional differences between the early-phase cassiterite(Cst-Ⅰ)and the late-phase one(Cst-Ⅱ),where the latter is enriched in Ta_(2)O_(5),Nb_(2)O_(5)and *** chemistry and textural criteria of the early stage CGM-Ⅰand Cst-Ⅰ,all are indicative of magmatic ***,the latter CGM-Ⅱ,wodginite and Cst-Ⅱwere influenced by the late magmatic Ta-rich *** inclusions microthermometry shows criteria of phase separation represented by both boiling and fluid *** initial fluid was supposed to be of magmatic origin(magmatic CH4),that was consequently influenced by fluid mixing/dilution with post-hydrothermal/meteoric water with respect to the decompression process during *** construction gave rise to an estimate P-T conditions(T=330-370℃,P=22-50 MPa).The fluid inclusions’microthermometry supports a transition between magmatic and late to post-hydrothermal activities in addition to surface-derived fluid(meteoric fluid?)in a part as main source for the polymetallic deposits.

Pancreatitis represents nearly 3% of acute admissions to general surgery in United Kingdom hospitals and has a mortality of around 1%-7% which increases to around 10%-18% in patients with severe pancreatitis. Patients at greatest risk were those identified to have infected pancreatic necrosis and/or organ failure. This review seeks to highlight the potential vascular complications associated with pancreatitis that despite being relatively uncommon are associated with mortality in the region of 34%-52%. We examine the current evidence base to determine the most appropriate method by which to image and treat pseudo-aneurysms that arise as the result of acute and chronic inflammation of pancreas. We identify how early recognition of the presence of a pseudo-aneurysm can facilitate expedited care in an expert centre of a complex pathology that may require angiographic, percutaneous, endoscopic or surgical intervention to prevent catastrophic haemorrhage.

In this study,the removal of monovalent and divalent cations,Nat,Kt,Mg2t,and Ca2t,in a diluted solution from Chott-El Jerid Lake,Tunisia,was investigated with the electrodialysis *** process was tested using two cation-exchange membranes:sulfonated polyether sulfone cross-linked with 10%hexamethylenediamine(HEXCl)and sulfonated polyether sulfone grafted with octylamine(S-PESOS).The commercially available membrane Nafion®was used for *** results showed that Nafion®and S-PESOS membranes had similar removal behaviors,and the investigated cations were ranked in the following descending order in terms of their demineralization rates:Nat>Ca2t>Mg2t>*** cations were more effectively removed by HEXCl than by monovalent *** plots based on the WebereMorris model showed a strong *** reveals that intra-particle diffusion was not the removal rate-determining step,and the removal process was controlled by two or more concurrent *** Boyd plots did not pass through their origin,and the sole controlling step was determined by film-diffusion resistance,especially after a long period of ***,a semi-empirical model was established to simulate the temporal variation of the treatment process,and the physical significance and values of model parameters were compared for the three *** findings of this study indicate that HEXCl and S-PESOS membranes can be efficiently utilized for water softening,especially when effluents are highly loaded with calcium and magnesium ions.

Previous studies have revealed that dietary N-carbamylglutamate(NCG)or L-arginine(Arg)improves small intestinal integrity and immune function in suckling Hu lambs that have experienced intrauterine growth retardation(IUGR).Whether these nutrients alter redox status and apoptosis in the colon of IUGR lambs is still *** study,therefore,aimed at investigating whether dietary supplementation of Arg or NCG alters colonic redox status,apoptosis and endoplasmic reticulum(ER)stress and the underlying mechanism of these alterations in IUGR suckling Hu ***-eight 7-d old Hu lambs,including 12 with normal birth weight(4.25±0.14 kg)and 36 with IUGR(3.01±0.12 kg),were assigned to 4 treatment groups(n=12 each;6 males and 6 females)for 3 *** treatment groups were control(CON),IUGR,IUGR+Arg and IUGR+*** to IUGR lambs,superoxide dismutase(SOD)and glutathione peroxidase(GSH-Px)content,as well as proliferation index,were higher(P<0.05)whereas reactive oxygen species(ROS),malondialdehyde(MDA)levels and apoptotic cell numbers were lower(P<0.05)in colonic tissue for both IUGR+Arg and NCG *** m RNA and protein levels of C/EBP homologous protein 10(CHOP10),B-cell lymphoma/leukaemia 2(Bcl-2)-associated X protein(Bax),apoptosis antigen 1(Fas),activating transcription factor 6(ATF6),caspase 3,and glucose-regulated protein 78(GRP78)were lower(P<0.05)while glutathione peroxidase 1(GPx1),Bcl-2 and catalase(CAT)levels were higher(P<0.05)in colonic tissue for IUGR+Arg and IUGR+NCG lambs compared with IUGR *** on our results,dietary NCG or Arg supplementation can improve colonic redox status and suppress apoptosis via death receptor-dependent,mitochondrial and ER stress pathways in IUGR suckling lambs.

This study aimed to investigate the effects of dietary supplementation of underfed Hu ewes from d 35 to110 of gestation with either rumen-protected L-arginine(RP-Arg)or N-carbamylglutamate(NCG)on placental amino acid(AA)transport,angiogenic gene expression,and steroid *** d 35 of gestation,32 Hu ewes carrying twin fetuses were randomly divided into four treatment groups,each consisting of eight ewes,and were fed the following diets:A diet providing 100%of NRC’s nutrient requirements for pregnant ewes(CON);A diet providing 50%of NRC’s nutrient requirements for pregnant ewes(RES);RES diet plus 5 g/d NCG(RES+NCG);or RES diet plus 20 g/d RP-Arg(RES+ARG).On the d 110 of pregnancy,blood samples were taken from the mother,and samples were collected from type A cotyledons(COT;the fetal portions of the placenta).The levels of 17β-estradiol and progesterone in the maternal serum and both the capillary area density(CAD)and capillary surface density(CSD)in type A COT were decreased in response to Arg or NCG supplementation when compared to the RES *** concentrations of arginine,leucine,putrescine and spermidine in type A COT were higher(P<0.05)in the RES+ARG or RES+NCG group than in the RES *** mRNA expression levels of inducible nitric oxide synthase(iNOS)and solute carrier family 15,member 1(SLC15A1)were increased(P<0.05)while those of progesterone receptor(PGR)and fibroblast growth factor 2(FGF2)were decreased in type A COT by supplementation with either NCG or RP-Arg compared to the RES *** results suggest that providing underfed pregnant ewes from d 35 to 110 of gestation with a diet supplemented with NCG or RP-Arg improves placental AA transport,and reduces the expression of angiogenic growth factor genes and steroid anabolism,leading to better fetal development.
