Immunogenic antigens for vaccination are often created through the production of recombinant proteins using Escherichia coli.1 As a side product,aggregates called inclusion bodies(IBs)are formed,containing largely misfolded forms of the overexpressed recombinant protein.2 The effect of IBs on the immune system and whether they can be used as effective vaccine products remain *** non-native conformation of proteins upon accumulation in IBs abrogates their use as vaccines aimed at generating high-affinity antibodies.3 However,IBs exhibit unique properties,including mechanical and thermal stability due to their intrinsic particulate nature,biocompatibility,high antigenic content,low toxicity and relative resistance to *** characteristics make IBs attractive as an antigenic vaccine formulation for T cell responses to linear *** IBs can trigger adaptive cellular responses initiated via uptake by dendritic cells for presentation to T cells is unknown.

Primary high-density fluid inclusions were identified in garnet from ultrahigh pressure eclogite in the southern part of the Sulu terrane. They occur isolatedly or in cluster together with relatively low-density two-phase inclu-sions. The eutectic temperature of the inclusions is as low as ≤ -52℃. A bubble was nucleated in a liquid inclusion dur-ing the specific stage of cyclic cooling-heating runs, and the liquid-gas homogenization temperature was measured to be ≤-12.5℃. The composition of the inclusions modeled by the system CaCl2-NaCl-H2O, yields the fluid density of 1.27g/cm3 that corresponds to a pressure of ca. 2.4 GPa at thetemperature of peak eclogite-facies metamorphism, close tothe ultrahigh pressure metamorphic conditions. During theexhumation of the eclogite the inclusions reacted with thehost mineral, forming hydrous silicate minerals that resulted in lowering of the fluid density and its transformation to multi-phase inclusions.

The spatial distribution and diversity of archaeal and bacterial ammonia oxidizers （AOA and AOB） were evaluated targeting amoA genes in the gradient of a littoral buffer zone which has been identified as a hot spot for N cycling. Here we found high spatial heterogeneity in the nitrification rate and abundance of ammonia oxidizers in the five sampling sites. The bacterial amoA gene was numerically dominant in most of the surface soil but decreased dramatically in deep layers. Higher nitrification potentials were detected in two sites near the land/water interface at 4.4–6.1 μg NO2-N/（g dry weight soil·hr）, while only 1.0–1.7 μg NO2-N/（g dry weight soil·hr） was measured at other sites. The potential nitrification rates were proportional to the amoA gene abundance for AOB, but with no significant correlation with AOA. The NH4＋ concentration was the most determinative parameter for the abundance of AOB and potential nitrification rates in this study. Higher richness in the surface layer was found in the analysis of biodiversity. Phylogenetic analysis revealed that most of the bacterial amoA sequences in surface soil were affiliated with the genus of Nitrosopira while the archaeal sequences were almost equally affiliated with Candidatus ‘Nitrososphaera gargensis’ and Candidatus ‘Nitrosocaldus yellowstonii’. The spatial distribution of AOA and AOB indicated that bacteria may play a more important role in nitrification in the littoral buffer zone of a N-rich lake.

BACKGROUND:In 2013 a General Practitioner Cooperative(GPC) was introduced at the Emergency Department(ED) of our *** of the aims of this co-located GPC was to improve throughput of the remaining patients at the *** determine the change in patient flow,we assessed the number of self-referrals,redirection of self-referrals to the GPC and back to the ED,as well as ward and ICU admission rates and length of stay of the remaining ED ***:We conducted a four months' pre-post comparison before and after the implementation of a co-located GPC with an urban ED in the ***:More than half of our ED patients were *** triage,54.5%of these selfreferrals were redirected to the *** assessment at the GPC,8.5%of them were referred back to the *** number of patients treated at the ED declined with 20.3%after the introduction of the *** the remaining ED population,there was a significant increase of highly urgent patients(P<0.001),regular admissions(P<0.001),and ICU admissions(P<0.001).Despite the decline of the number of patients at the ED,the total length of stay of patients treated at the ED increased from 14 682 hours in the two months' control period to 14 962 hours in the two months' intervention period,a total increase of 270 hours in two months(P<0.001).CONCLUSION:Introduction of a GPC led to efficient redirection of self-referrals but failed to improve throughput of the remaining patients at the ED.

Over the last decades,liver transplantation has become the standard care for many forms of end-stage liver disease,both in adults and in *** prognosis after pediatric liver transplantation(pLT)has steadily increased up to a patient survival at 5 years of 85%and an estimated graft half life of 31 years(1,2).In the early days of pLT,the transplanted organ originated from deceased *** 1990,adult-to-child living donor liver transplantation(LDLT)programs have developed,which rapidly gained popularity,particularly in Europe and Asia(2,3).A major stimulus for LDLT has been the limited availability of deceased *** indications for liver transplantation have expanded,particularly for adult patients,at a higher rate than the availability of donor ***,the quality of donor organs has steadily declined,resulting in a decreased utilization of livers from deceased donors for transplantation(4).The limited availability of qualified deceased donor livers has further stimulated LDLT:in Europe,for example,the percentage of living donor organs used for pLT increased from 7%before 2000 to 40%since 2010(1).

AFT data of granitoid and metamorphic samples from the Dabieshan orogen have an age range between 96.4 Ma and 41.9 Ma coupled with confined track lengths of 11.5—14.0 μm, reflecting the cooling time of rocks differentially through the 100℃± isotherm. The juras- sic-Eogene sediments from the North Huaiyang and Hefei basin, however, yield their AFT ages of 128.8—62.0 Ma with mean track lengths of 8.6—11.9 μm, recording a complicated thermal de- velopment of the basin. These AFT data structurally allowing the coupling between the orogen and the basin are to a great extent considered as the result from the control of NNE-trending regional tectonics. It took place approximately at 95—90 Ma that the orogen developed with an abrupt shift from the doming extension to the differential transtension, which is assumed to be related with the changes of the convergence between the Western Pacific and Eurasia plates. The differentially sinistral strike-slipping from the transtension between Tanlu and Shang- cheng-Macheng faults brought the doming extension of the orogen shrunk sharply in Late Cre- taceous. In Eogene, the full-grown transtension that dominated in East Asia was caused mainly by a rapid decrease of the rates of the Western Pacific convergence, which can be therefore re- garded as a major mechanism creating the zonal anomalies of 60—40 Ma in the orogen. The thermal anomaly of 70—40 Ma zonally along the Tanlu fault cooled more slowly than the anomaly of 60—55 Ma zoning along the Shangcheng-Macheng fault, but the 60—40 Ma anomaly trending E-W in hinterlands of the orogen seems to be relicts of the doming extension as a result of inten- sive rebuilding by the transtension. In addition, the orogen was also reactivated by the far-field effect from India-Asia collision in Eogene, where major NWW-trending faults played an important role in facilitating such far-field tectonic transferring. CdZnS solid solutions with strong light absorption are promising materials for solar-driven COreduction;however,their relatively weak redox ability and intrinsic photo-corrosion limit their further development as a *** addition of a second photocatalyst with a suitable band structure to construct a S-scheme photocatalytic system can solve both problems ***,we report a S-scheme photocatalyst based on the heterostructure of CoTiO_(3)/CdZnS(abbreviated as CoTiO_(3)/Cd_(9.51)Zn_(0.49)S_(10))that enables the efficient photocatalytic reduction of *** physicochemical characterization resolves the S-scheme charge transfer mechanism in this composite *** the well-designed structure of particles and desirable band offsets,this hybrid system offers visible light absorption in a broad spectral region,large surface area,strong redox ability,and fast carrier separation and *** visible-light illumination,the CoTiO_(3)/Cd Zn S hybrid system displays a CO formation rate of about 11 mmol hgcombined with a long-term operational ***,a high apparent quantum efficiency(AQE)of 7.27%is realized for the CO_(2)-to-CO reduction reaction by the optimized Co TiO/Cd Zn S hybrid under 420 nm monochromatic light irradiation.
