The effects of ta on the solidification microstructure of the Re-containing hot corrosion resistant Ni-base single crystal were investigated. Results showed that ta addition significantly modified the solidification behavior and further influenced the as-cast microstructure. ta addition changed the solidification characteristic temperatures and decreased the segregation of refractory elements (Re and W) as well as increased the solidification temperature range from 39.0 to 61.8℃ as ta addition increased from 2wt% to 8wt%. The integration of these two factors increased the primary dendrite arm spacing and changed the morphology and size of γ′ precipitates. With increasing ta addition from 2wt% to 8wt%, the size of γ′ precipitates in the dendrite core increased substantially from 0.24 to 0.40 μm, whereas the γ′ precipitates in the interdendritic region decreased slightly from 0.56 to 0.47 μm. This paper then discussed the mechanism of these “ta effects”.

Lead-free(K0.5-x/2Na0.5-x/2Lix)(Nb0.8ta0.2)O3(KNLNT)and(K0.49-x/2Na0.49-x/2-LixCa0.01)(Nb0.8ta0.2)O3(KNLNT-Ca)ceramics were prepared by a conventional ceramic *** analysis shows that the Ca^2+ doping takes the A site of ABO3 perovskite and decreases the phase transition *** measurements reveal that as a donor dopant,the Ca^2+ doping results in higher room-temperature dielectric constant,lower dielectric loss,and lower mechanical quality *** addition,the Ca^2+ doping does not change the positive piezoelectric coefficient d33,but increases the converse piezoelectric coefficient d 33**** is likely due to the increase in the relaxation,as well as the appearance of(CaNa/K·-VNa/K’)defect dipoles.

Herein,a cross-linked porous ta3N5 film was prepared via a simple solution combustion route followed by a high-temperature nitridation process for photoelectrochemical(PEC) water ***,the metal cations(Mg2+ and Zr4+) were incorporated into the porous ta3N5 to enhance the PEC *** porous Mg/Zr co-doped ta3N5 photoanode yielded a photocurrent density of 1.40 ma cm^(-2) at 1.23 V vs RHE,which is 5.6 times higher than that of the dense ta3N5 *** enhanced performance should be ascribed to the synergistic effect of porous structure and cation doping,which can enlarge the electrochemical active surface area and accelerate the charge transfer by introducing ON substitution ***,Co(OH)2 cocatalyst was loaded on the Mg/Zr-ta3N5 photoanode to negatively shift the onset potential to 0.45 V vs RHE and further improve the photocurrent density to 3.5 ma cm^(-2)at 1.23 V ***,with a maximum half-cell solar to hydrogen efficiency of 0.45%.The present study provides a new strategy to design efficient ta3N5 photoelectrodes via the simultaneous control of the morphology and composition.

BACKGROUND Status epilepticus is an emergent and critical condition which needs management without hesitation. Nonconvulsive status epilepticus (NCSE) tends to be less recognized, and its diagnosis is delayed in comparison with overt status epilepticus because of the absence of specific clinical signs. It is often difficult to make a diagnosis, particularly in patients with hepatic encephalopathy. CASE SUMmaRY A 38-year-old man with a history of alcoholic liver cirrhosis presented with altered mental status;the initial diagnosis was hepatic encephalopathy. Although optimal treatment for hepatic encephalopathy was administered, the patient's mental status did not improve. A final diagnosis of NCSE was made by continuous electroencephalogram (EEG) monitoring. Treatment with levetiracetam and propofol pump was immediately started. The patient’s consciousness gradually improved after discontinuation of propofol therapy, and no further epileptic discharge was observed by EEG monitoring. After 1 wk, the patient returned to full consciousness, and he was able to walk in the hospital ward without assistance. He was discharged with minimal sequela of bilateral conjunctivitis. CONCLUSION In cases of persistent altered mental status without reasonable diagnosis, NCSE should be considered in hepatic encephalopathy patients with persistently altered levels of consciousness, and EEG monitoring is very important. We also recommend propofol as a safe and efficient therapy for NCSE in liver cirrhosis patients.

Carbon nanotubes(CNTs)can be locally grown on custom-designed CMOS microheaters by a thermal chemical vapour deposition(CVD)process to utilize the sensing capabilities of CNTs in emerging micro-and nanotechnology *** such a direct CMOS-CNT integration,a key requirement is the development of necessary post-processing steps on CMOS chips for fabricating CMOS-MEMS polysilicon heaters that can locally generate the required CNT synthesis temperatures(~650-900℃).In our post-CMOS processing,a subtractive fabrication technique is used for micromachining the polysilicon heaters,where the passivation layers in CMOS are used as masks to protect the *** dielectric etching,it is necessary to achieve high selectivity,uniform etching and a good etch rate to fully expose the polysilicon layers without causing *** achieved successful post-CMOS processing by developing two-step reactive ion etching(RIE)of the SiO2 dielectric layer and making design improvements to a second-generation CMOS *** the dry etching process,CMOS-MEMS microheaters are partially suspended by SiO2 wet etching with minimum damage to the exposed aluminium layers,to obtain high thermal *** fabricated microheaters are then successfully utilized for synthesizing CNTs by a local thermal CVD *** CMOS post-processing challenges and design aspects to fabricate CMOS-MEMS polysilicon microheaters for such high-temperature applications are detailed in this *** developed process for heterogeneous monolithic integration of CMOS-CNT shows promise for wafer-level manufacturing of CNT-based sensors by incorporating additional steps in an already existing foundry CMOS process.

In the face of a significant public health event,consumers may either increase their panic buying or decrease their willingness to make *** study focuses on the impact of a significant public health event on offline store sales and consumer consumption,utilizing data from chain convenience stores in Hefei and Wuhu during early 2019 and early 2020 in *** a difference-in-differences model,the study investigates the effect of the significant public health event outbreak on weekly store sales,order numbers,and consumer consumption in terms of product quantities,transaction amount,average amount per order,and transaction *** from prior literature that finds hoarding behavior of consumers online,the findings of this paper indicate a significant reduction in stores’offline weekly sales and order numbers,as well as consumers’offline weekly consumption across the four dimensions,as a result of the significant public health event ***,employing a mediation model,the study explores the pathway of population mobility through which the significant public health event adversely affects offline ***,subset analysis is conducted for stores located in different areas and consumers with varying characteristics,revealing that the aforementioned conclusions predominantly apply to stores situated in office areas and residential areas,as well as consumers with either no apparent preference for different product categories or a noticeable preference for food.

A convenient label-free fluorescence（FL） nanoprobe for rapid detection of cadmium（Cd） was established using glutathione-capped CdS quantum dots（QDs） and 1,10-phenanthroline（phen）. The prepared CdS QDs exhibited a strong FL emission at 536 nm, which could be quenched by phen due to the photoinduced hole transfer（PHT） mechanism. The existence of Cd effectively recovered the FL intensity of CdS QDs, which was due to the easy detachment of phen from the surface of QDs to form [Cd（phen）2（H2O）2]2＋ in solution. Cd concentrations were linearly correlated with the FL intensity in the range of 0.0625-1.25 μmol/L under the optimized conditions and the detection limit was 0.01μmol/L. Finally, the Cd concentration was accurately quantified in real water sample using the proposed sensor.
