The energy transformation and efficiency is now a hot topic among researches of scientific drilling into fault zones （tanaka et al., 2006; ma et al., 2006）. This study conducted temperature measurements and fault gouge particle analysis of borehole WFSD-1 from the Wenchuan Earthquake Fault Science Drilling Project （WFSD）, and discussed the earthquake energy budget. The research progress is illuminated as follows.

Defensive medicine practices among gastroenterologists in Japan

AIM： To clarify the prevalence of defensive medicine and the specific defensive medicine practices among gastroenterologists in Japan. METHODS： A survey of gastroenterologists in Hiroshima, Japan, was conducted by mail in march 2006. The number of gastroenterologists reporting defensive medicine behaviors or changes in their scope of practice and the reported defensive medicine practices, i.e., assurance and avoidance behaviors, were examined. RESULTS： A total of 131 （77%） out of 171 gastroenterologists completed the survey. Three （2%） respondents were sued, and most respondents （96%） had liability insurance. Nearly all respondents （98%） reported practicing defensive medicine. Avoidance behaviors, such as avoiding certain procedures or interventions and avoiding caring for high-risk patients, were very common （96%）. Seventy-five percent of respondents reported often avoiding certain procedures or interventions. However, seasoned gastroenterologists （those in practice for more than 20 years） adopted avoidance behaviors significantly less often than those in practice for less than 10 years. Assurance behaviors, i.e., supplying additional services of marginal or no medical value, were also widespread （91%）. Sixty-eight percent of respondents reported that they sometimes or often referred patients to other specialists unnecessarily. CONCLUSION： Defensive medicine may be highly prevalent among gastroenterologists throughout 3apan, with potentially serious implications regarding costs, access, and both technical and interpersonal quality of care.

Objective:In order to research the therapeutic effects of yST cells or γδT cells combining other small molecule compound on lung adenocarcinoma cancer A549 in nude mice and their antitumor ***:Firstly,Zoledronic acid(Zol) combined EL-2 were used to augment γδT cells from peripheral blood mononuclear cells(PBMCs).The purity of expanded γδT cells were assessed by flow ***,the ability of yST cells or γδT cells combined small molecule compound inhibiting A549 cells in vitro wasmonitored by utilizing Real-Time Cell Analysis(RTCA) ***,animal model of A549 in Balb/c nude mice was established to explore the anti-tumor effect of γδ T cells alone or co-administration withcompound and ***,the expression of mRNA and protein of c-Myc and PD-1 in the tumor tissue were measured by Reverse Transcription Polymerase Chain Reaction(RT-PCR) and ***:Flow cytometry results showed that γδT cells have high purity after co stimulating by Zo1 and IL-2 for 14 ***-Time Cell Analysis demonstrated that γδT cells or γδT cells combined compound could inhibit A549 cells growth,and γδT cells combined compound had stronger inhibitory *** the observation of the volume and weight of nude mice,we found that:(1) Compared with healthy nude mice,nude mouse bearing the tumor gain less weight(pmal physiological function of nude mice.(2) During therapy,the mice of γδT cells treatment group and combining treatment group had a smaller volume growth of tumor comparing to the Control group(pmass of the mice of γδT cells treatment group and combining treatment group is less than the mice of Control group.(3) RT-PCR and Western-blotting experiment results showed that the transcription and expression level of c-Myc and PD-1 in tumor tissue of γδT cells treatment group and combining treatment group were lower than control ***:γδT cells

Heat treatment of metal-organic frameworks(MOFs)has provided a wide variety of functional carbons coordinated with metal *** this study,two kinds of zinc-based MOF(ZMOF),C_(16)H_(10)O_(4)Zn(ZMOF1)and C_(8)H_(4)O_(4)Zn(ZMOF2),were ***1 and ZMOF2 were carbonized at 1000℃,forming CZMOF1 and CZMOF2,*** specific surface area(S_(BET))of CZMOF2 was~2700 m^(2)g^(−1),much higher than that of CZMOF1(~1300 m^(2)g^(−1)).A supercapacitor electrode based on CZMOF2 achieved specific capacitances of 360,278,and 221 F g^(−1)at 50,250,and 1000 ma g^(−1)in an aqueous electrolyte(H2SO_(4)),respectively,the highest values reported to date for ZMOF-derived electrodes under identical *** practical applicability of the CZMOF-based supercapacitor was verified in non-aqueous *** initial capacitance retention was 78%after 100000 charge/discharge cycles at 10 A g^(−1).Crucially,the high capacitance of CZMOF2 arises from pore generation during *** 1000℃,pore generation is dominated by the Zn/C ratio of ZMOFs,as carbon atoms reduce the zinc oxides formed during *** 1000℃,a high O/C ratio becomes essential for pore generation because the oxygen functional groups are *** findings will provide insightful information for other metal-based MOFderived multifunctional carbons.

Acquired hemophilia A in solid cancer: Two case reports and review of the literature

Acquired hemophilia A （AHA） is a rare, hemorrhagic autoimmune disease, whose pathogenesis involves reduced coagulation factor Ⅷ （FⅧ） activity related to the appearance of inhibitors against FⅧ. Common etiological factors include autoimmune diseases, ma-lignancy, and pregnancy. We report two cases of AHA in solid cancer. The first case is a 63-year-old man who developed peritoneal and intestinal bleeding after gastrectomy for gastric cancer. He was diagnosed with AHA, and was treated with prednisone, followed by cyclophosphamide. In the second case, a 68-year-old man developed a subcutaneous hemorrhage. He was diagnosed with AHA in hepatocellular carcinoma on CT imaging, and treated with rituximab alone. Hemostasis was achieved for both patients without bypassing agents as the amount of inhibitors was reduced and eradicated. However, both patients died within 1 yeardue to cancer progression. Successful treatment for AHA in solid cancer can be diffcult because treatment of the underlying malignancy is also required.

高原地表的感热和潜热通量在亚洲季风系统中有很重要的作用。由于高原地域辽阔,且自然环境较严酷,不利于建立完善的地面观测系统。因此,卫星遥感观测就成为测算高原整体感热和潜热通量的有效工具。地面场地的观测结果作为地表通量的真实值,对于卫星遥感测算是非常重要的。它也为构建陆面—大气模型提供了科学依据,是卫星资料的资料同化系统中的重要组成部分。计算场地热量通量有几种不同的处理方法。最简单的方法利用有效的观测和试验的参数,可以给出稳定连续的估计。愈精确的Bowen比或者廓线的观测能给出愈精确的信息。综合了湍流测量及辐射测量、土壤热通量的观测结果的估计对陆面—大气相互作用进行了详细的描述,以适应模式的发展。从1998年开始,这些方法联合应用到青藏高原;场地通量观测方面的成果以及目前对其理解将在本文中做一概述。

Background:Although overnight fasting is recommended prior to endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography(ERCP),the benefits and safety of high-carbohydrate fluid diet(CFD)intake 2 h before ERCP remain *** study aimed to analyze whether high-CFD intake 2 h before ERCP can be safe and accelerate patients’***:This prospective,multicenter,randomized controlled trial involved 15 tertiary ERCP centers.A total of 1330 patients were randomized into CFD group(n=665)and fasting group(n=665).The CFD group received 400 mL of maltodextrin orally 2 h before ERCP,while the control group abstained from food/water overnight(>6 h)before *** ERCP procedures were performed using deep sedation with intravenous *** investigators were blinded but not the *** primary outcomes included postoperative fatigue and abdominal pain score,and the secondary outcomes included complications and changes in metabolic *** outcomes were analyzed according to a modified intention-to-treat ***:The post-ERCP fatigue scores were significantly lower at 4 h(4.1±2.6 vs.4.8±2.8,t=4.23,P<0.001)and 20 h(2.4±2.1 vs.3.4±2.4,t=7.94,P<0.001)in the CFD group,with least-squares mean differences of 0.48(95%confidence interval[CI]:0.26-0.71,P<0.001)and 0.76(95%CI:0.57-0.95,P<0.001),*** 4-h pain scores(2.1±1.7 vs.2.2±1.7,t=2.60,P=0.009,with a least-squares mean difference of 0.21[95%CI:0.05-0.37])and positive urine ketone levels(7.7%[39/509]vs.15.4%[82/533],χ^(2)=15.13,P<0.001)were lower in the CFD *** CFD group had significantly less cholangitis(2.1%[13/634]vs.4.0%[26/658],χ^(2)=3.99,P=0.046)but not pancreatitis(5.5%[35/634]vs.6.5%[43/658],χ^(2)=0.59,P=0.444).Subgroup analysis revealed that CFD reduced the incidence of complications in patients with native papilla(odds ratio[OR]:0.61,95%CI:0.39-0.95,P=0.028)in the multivariable ***:Ingesting 400 mL of CFD 2 h before ERCP is safe,with a reduction in post-ERCP fatigue,

Thermodynamic Assessment of Interaction Relation between Lanthanum and Constituent Elements in Sn-Pb Alloy

The interaction relation between lanthanum and the constituent elements of Sn-Pb alloy system was analyzed by using the thermodynamic models including Miedema formation energy model for binary system, tanaka modification by excess entropy and the Chou geometric model for ternary system. The thermodynamic calculaton results show that lanthanum has higher affinity for Sn in the Sn-Pb system. This is an important foundation for the improvement of the metallurgical properties of Sn-Pb solder alloy by adding rare earth elements.
