Multimodal Fuzzy Downstream Petroleum Supply Chain:A Novel Pentagonal Fuzzy Optimization

The petroleum industry has a complex,inflexible and challenging supply chain(SC)that impacts both the national economy as well as people’s daily lives with a range of services,including transportation,heating,electricity,lubricants,as well as chemicals and *** the petroleum industry,supply chain management presents several challenges,especially in the logistics sector,that are not found in other *** addition,logistical challenges contribute significantly to the cost of *** regarding customer demand and supply significantly affects SC ***,SC flexibility can be maintained by addressing *** the other hand,in the real world,decision-making challenges are often ambiguous or *** some cases,measurements are incorrect owing to measurement errors,instrument faults,etc.,which lead to a pentagonal fuzzy number(PFN)which is the extension of a fuzzy ***,it is necessary to develop quantitative models to optimize logistics operations and supply chain *** study proposed a linear programming model under an uncertain *** model minimizes the cost along the refineries,depots,multimode transport and demand *** developed pentagonal fuzzy optimization,an alternative approach is developed to solve the downstream supply chain using themixed-integer linear programming(MILP)model to obtain a feasible solution to the fuzzy transportation cost *** this model,the coefficient of the transportation costs and parameters is assumed to be a pentagonal fuzzy ***,defuzzification is performed using an accuracy *** validate the model and technique and feasibility solution,an illustrative example of the oil and gas SC is considered,providing improved results compared with existing techniques and demonstrating its ability to benefit petroleum companies is the objective of this study.

Artificial intelligence and its primary subfield,machine learning,have started to gain widespread use in medicine,including the field of kidney *** made a review of the literature that used artificial intelligence techniques in kidney *** located six main areas of kidney transplantation that artificial intelligence studies are focused on:Radiological evaluation of the allograft,pathological evaluation including molecular evaluation of the tissue,prediction of graft survival,optimizing the dose of immunosuppression,diagnosis of rejection,and prediction of early graft *** learning techniques provide increased automation leading to faster evaluation and standardization,and show better performance compared to traditional statistical *** intelligence leads to improved computer-aided diagnostics and quantifiable personalized predictions that will improve personalized patient care.

Energy-Efficient Scheduling for a Cognitive IoT-Based Early Warning System

Flash floods are deemed the most fatal and disastrous natural hazards globally due to their prompt onset that requires a short prime time for emergency *** Internet of things(CIoT)technologies including inherent characteristics of cognitive radio(CR)are potential candidates to develop a monitoring and early warning system(MEWS)that helps in efficiently utilizing the short response time to save lives during flash ***,most CIoT devices are battery-limited and thus,it reduces the lifetime of the *** tackle these problems,we propose a CIoTbased MEWS to slash the fatalities of flash *** extend the lifetime of the MEWS by conserving the limited battery energy of CIoT sensors,we formulate a resource assignment problem for maximizing energy *** solve the problem,at first,we devise a polynomial-time heuristic energyefficient scheduler(EES-1).However,its performance can be unsatisfactory since it requires an exhaustive search to find local optimum values without consideration of the overall network energy *** enhance the energy efficiency of the proposed EES-1 scheme,we additionally formulate an optimization problem based on a maximum weight matching bipartite ***,we additionally propose a Hungarian algorithm-based energy-efficient scheduler(EES-2),solvable in polynomial *** simulation results show that the proposed EES-2 scheme achieves considerably high energy efficiency in the CIoT-based MEWS,leading to the extended lifetime of the MEWS without loss of throughput performance.

Immediate intraocular pressure rise after intravitreal injection of ranibizumab and two doses of triamcinolone acetonide

AIM: To evaluate prospectively immediate intraocular pressure (IOP) changes after the intravitreal injection of ranibizumab, 2 and 4mg triamcinolone acetonide. METHODS: Patients who underwent intravitreal injection of 0.1mL (4mg) triamcinolone acetonide (TA, Group T4), 0.05mL (2mg) TA (Group T2) and 0.05mL (0.5mg) ranibizumab (Group R) comprised the study population. Overall, 229 eyes of 205 patients were injected. Fifty-four eyes (23.6%) were in Group T4, 69 eyes (30.1%) in Group T2 and 106 eyes (46.3%) in Group R. If IOP was less than 26mmHg immediately after the injection no further measurement was performed. If IOP was ≥26mmHg, IOP was remeasured till the reading was below 26mmHg at 5, 15 and 30 minutes. RESULTS: Immediately after the injection, the IOP of 28 eyes (51.9%) in Group T4, 22 eyes (31.9%) in Group T2 and 51 eyes (48.1%) in Group R were over 25mmHg. At 30 minutes, IOP of one eye (1.9%) in group T4, two eyes (2.9%) in group T2 and two eyes (1.9 %) in Group R were over 25mmHg. Immediate post-injection IOP was significantly higher in Group T4 and Group R when compared to Group T2 (P may remarkably increase immediately after the intravitreal injection of 2 or 4mg triamcinolone acetonide, and 0.5mg ranibizumab. Absence of vitreous reflux is the most important predicting factor for immediate IOP rise after the injection.

Effect of Different Bleaching Applications on the Surface Properties and Staining Susceptibility of Dental Composites

The aim of this study was to investigate the effects of two bleaching systems on micro hardness, surface roughness and color stability of two novel dental composites. Ormocer based restorative Admira and nano-filled composite Clearfil majesty Esthetic were bleached with 10% carbamide peroxide （Opalescence PF） or 35% hydrogen peroxide （Beyond max 5） and subsequently immersed in four different staining solutions （coffee, tea, red wine, and cola）. Distilled water was used as a control. Color measurements were performed with a spectrophotometer. Vickers micro hardness and roughness data were analyzed with two- way analysis of variance for repeated measures. The analysis of variance was used to compare the color change values. Duncan＇s multiple comparison test was applied to compare the results （a = 5%）. AE~＂ values over 3.3 were considered clinically unacceptable. Micro hardness and surface roughness values of the tested composites were decreased significantly after bleaching applications. Red wine and tea storage caused perceptible discolorations in the composite resin materials after 30 days of 3-hour immersion. Home or office bleaching applications can affect the surface properties of resin composites and accelerate the staining process.

塔河油田某生产井在检管时发现油管外壁存在明显的局部腐蚀,腐蚀形貌包括圆坑状局部腐蚀与沟槽状局部腐蚀。通过对油管开展基础性能测试、腐蚀产物表征、腐蚀产物细菌培养与基因测序,明确了油管外壁腐蚀原因为细菌腐蚀及闭塞电池造成自催化酸化作用。因此,建议缩短现场用环空保护液的放置周期,并定期对环空保护液的细菌含量与氧含量进行测试。

A low complexity online controller using fuzzy logic in energy harvesting WSNs

In this paper, we present a fuzzy logic based scheme for a two hop energy harvesting(EH)wireless sensor network(WSN). Incorporating data and energy causality constraints, discrete transmission rates, finite energy and data buffers, a fuzzy model is developed which uses network throughput, battery level and channel gain as inputs. The fuzzy scheme is then compared with optimum, modified optimum, and markov decision process(MDP) schemes in terms of computational complexity, throughput, battery level and data buffer capacity. The throughput results show that the fuzzy online scheme preforms closely to the compared schemes and avoids battery depletion even when the number of discrete transmission rates are increased.

Fission of Weakly Prolate 119Sn and Weakly Oblate ^(209)Bi Nuclei Induced by 500 and 672 MeV Negative Pions

Fission cross-sections of ^(119)Sn and ^(209)Bi induced by negative pions of two energies 500 and 672 MeV were measured using a CR−39 nuclear track ***-detector stacks were exposed to pion beams at the Brookhaven National Laboratory(USA).Measurement results are compared with the corresponding calculations using the computer code *** between measurements and calculations is fairly good for the ^(209)Bi target nuclei whereas it is poor for 119Sn at both investigated energies of 500 and 672 *** cross−section results of^( 119)Sn and ^(209)Bi are explained using the equilibrium properties of these nuclides including nuclear electric quadrupole moments which determine the shapes of nuclei.A logarithmic dependence of fission cross−section on Z^(2)/A is observed for the above−mentioned reactions and a critical limit of Z^(2)/A is identified with the value of 30 which divides the curve ofσf versus Z2/A into two regimes,one with weak dependence and the other with strong dependence.

Chemical composition, antioxidant activity and GC-MS analysis of juice and peel oil of grapefruit varieties cultivated in India

Citrus family especially Grapefruit,has attained considerable attention due to the presence of a number of essential components that have cardiovascular and anti-hypertensive *** juice and essential oil extracted from eight recently released grapefruit cultivars were used to study physicochemical and antioxidant *** total soluble solids(TSS),titratable acidity(TA) and pH of juice samples extracted from various grapefruit varieties differed *** refractive index,specific gravity and optical rotation values for the oil varied from 1.473 to 1.396,0.863 to 0.847 and +93 to +86,*** percent 2,2-diphenyl-1-picrylhydrazyl radical activity(% DPPH activity) and ferric reducing antioxidant power(FRAP) values for grapefruit juice and peel oil varied from 24.06 to 18.79,2.91 to 1.44 mmol g^–1 and 84.87 to 74.73,7.76 to 5.73 mmol g^-1,*** were significant differences in physicochemical,antioxidant properties and volatile profiles of extracted juice and *** oil exhibited higher DPPH and FRAP values than the *** different components identified which accounted for over 99% of the volatile fraction,limonene,myrcene,and benzopyran were major components in all oil samples.
