Design and selection of advanced protection schemes have become essential for reliable and secure operation of networked *** protection schemes that allow correct operation of microgrids have been proposed for individual systems in different topologies and ***,protection schemes for networked microgrids are still in devel-opment,and further research is required to design and operate advanced protection in interconnected *** of these microgrids in different nodes with various intercon-nection technologies increases fault occurrence and complicates protection *** paper aims to point out challenges in developing protection for networked microgrids,potential solutions,and research areas that need to be addressed for their ***,this article presents a systematic analysis of different microgrid clusters proposed since 2016,including several architectures of networked microgrids,operation modes,components,and utilization of renewable sources,which have not been widely explored in previous review ***,the paper presents a discussion on protection systems currently available for microgrid clusters,current challenges,and solutions that have been proposed for these ***,it discusses the trend of protection schemes in networked microgrids and presents some conclusions related to ***—Adaptive eprotection,microgrid cluster,microgrid,multiple microgrid,networked microgrid,real-time simulation,smart grid.

To evaluate the relationship between testosterone replacement therapy(TRT)and arterial and/or venous thrombosis in patients with pre-treatment total testosterone(TT)e performed a meta-analysis following the Population Intervention comparison Outcome ***:men with TTclear mention of hypogonadism in the inclusion criteria of patients;intervention:TRT;comparison:placebo or no therapy;outcomes:arterial thrombotic events(stroke,myocardial infarction[MI],upper limbs,and lower limbs),VTe(deep vein thrombosis[DVT],portal vein thrombosis,splenic thrombosis,and pulmonary embolism),and mortality.A total of 2423 abstracts were assessed for ***-four studies,including 14 randomized controlled trials(RcTs),were finally included,with a total of 4027 and 310288 hypotestosteronemic male patients,from RcTs and from observational studies,*** on RcT-derived data,TRT did not influence the risk of arterial thrombosis(odds ratio[OR]=1.27,95%confidence interval[cI]:0.47-3.43,P=0.64),stroke(OR=1.34,95%cI:0.09-18.97,P=0.83),MI(OR=0.51,95%cI:0.11-2.31,P=0.39),VTe(OR=1.42,95%cI:0.22-9.03,P=0.71),pulmonary embolism(OR=1.38,95%cI:0.27-7.04,P=0.70),and mortality(OR=0.70,95%cI:0.20-2.38,P=0.56).Meanwhile,when only observational studies are considered,a significant reduction in the risk of developing arterial thrombotic events,Ml,venous thromboembolism,and mortality was *** risk for DVT remains uncertain,due to the paucity of RcT-based *** in men with TTe from the risk of adverse cardiovascular *** studies specifically assessing the risk of DVT in men on TRT are needed.

Diet composition and its ecological drivers are rarely investigated in coexisting closely related *** used a molecular approach to characterize the seasonal variation in diet composition in four spiny lizard species inhabiting a mountainous *** metabarcoding revealed that the lizards Sceloporus aeneus,***,***,and *** mostly consumed arthropods of the orders Hemiptera,Araneae,Hymenoptera,and *** terrestrial lizards *** and *** mostly predated ants and spiders,whereas the arboreal–saxicolous *** and saxicolous *** largely consumed grasshoppers and *** taxonomic and phylogenetic diversity of the prey was higher during the dry season than the rainy season,likely because reduced prey availability in the dry season forced lizards to diversify their diets to meet their nutritional *** and phylogenetic composition varied seasonally depending on the species,but only dietary composition varied with *** dietary turnover was greater in *** than in ***,suggesting site-specific seasonal variability in prey availability;no other differences among species were ***,which lives at the highest altitude in our study site,displayed interseasonal variation in diet *** differences were correlated with the species’feeding strategies and elevational distribution,which likely contributed to the coexistence of these lizard species in the studied geographic area and beyond.

We present an analysis of the Imaging X-ray Polarimetry explorer observation from a newly discovered transient source:Swift *** obtained polarization degree(PD)and angle are 0.3%±0.3% and -24°±26°respectively in 2-8 keV within 68%confidence level errors,and polarization results are below MDP99in all energy bins,with the upper limit on PD of 0.8% in the 2-8 keV energy *** quasi-periodic oscillations(QPOs)are detected in this *** polarization and QPO analyses support the hypothesis that the source was in the high soft state,and the results are consistent with predictions for a thin accretion disk model.

An enterococcus faecalis isolate harboring both aerobic and anaerobic uric acid metabolic pathways alleviates hyperuricemia in mice

Probiotics have been demonstrated to be effective and safe for hyperuricemia (HUA) and gout treatment. Hence， identifying microbes with high uric acid- or purine-metabolizing ability is highly important. Due to the high load of uric acid in chicken feces， we hypothesized that the chicken gut would be an excellent source for new uric acid or purine-metabolizing microbes. In this study， we examined chicken gut contents to isolate an enterococcus faecalis strain (designated cML390) that displayed high uric acid-degrading ability. In vitro experiments indicated that e. faecalis cML390 could effectively metabolize uric acid under both aerobic and anaerobic conditions， and the richer the nutrients， the higher the rate of uric acid degradation. By integrating genomics， transcriptomics， and metabolomics analyses， we revealed two pathways involved in aerobic and anaerobic uric acid degradation， respectively， in this isolate. e. faecalis cML390 relies on oxygen to metabolize uric acid into substances such as allantoin under aerobic conditions， while it also harbors a conserved uric acid-inducible gene cluster for anaerobic uric acid metabolism. An in vivo experiment showed that gavage with live e. faecalis cML390 in a mouse model of HUA (established using a combination of uric acid and potassium oxonate) significantly reduced serum uric acid levels and alleviated HUA. Our findings contribute to the exploration of the pathways and mechanisms of uric acid metabolism in intestinal microorganisms and provide a candidate probiotic for the treatment of HUA and gout.

Background:Regulatory proteins involved in human cellular division and proliferation,cyclin-dependent kinases 4 and 6(cDK4/6)are overexpressed in numerous cancers,including triple-negative breast cancer(TNBc).TNBc is a common pathological subtype of breast cancer that is prone to recurrence and metastasis,and has a single treatment *** one of the cDK4/6 inhibitors,abemaciclib can effectively inhibit the growth of breast *** this study,we synthesized la-D-B1,a derivative of Abemaciclib,and investigated its anti-tumor effects in breast ***:cellular viability was assessed using the 3-(4,5-dimethylthiazol-2-yl)-2,5-diphenyltetrazolium bromide(MTT)*** cloning and migration abilities were determined by colony formation assay and wound healing *** invasion abilities and adhesion were determined by cell invasion assay and cell adhesion *** impact of compound la-D-B1 on cell proliferation and the cell cycle was analyzed through Western blotting,which quantified the levels of proteins associated with the cyclin-dependent kinase(cDK)4/6-cyclin D-Rb-e2F *** in vivo anti-tumor activity of compound la-D-B1 was investigated using a chick chorioallantoic membrane(cAM)***:The study demonstrated that la-D-B1 effectively suppressed breast cancer cell proliferation,induced apoptosis,and caused cell cycle ***,la-D-B1 reduced the expression of key proteins in the cDK4/6-cyclin D-Rb-e2F pathway,including cDK4,cDK6 and *** results also indicated significant antitumor activity of la-D-B1 in a transplanted tumor ***:In this study,la-D-B1 demonstrated a potent anti-tumor effect by effectively suppressing cell proliferation and inhibiting cell cycle progression in breast *** findings highlight the potential of la-D-B1 as a valuable compound for enhancing therapeutic outcomes and controlling the progression of breast cancer.
