Electrocatalytic performance of CNTs/graphene composited rare earth phthalocyanines(M=la,Y,Yb,Sc)

In this study,a class of rare earth composite sandwich phthalocyanines(MPcs,M=la,Y,Yb,Sc) were prepared and compounded with graphene and carbon nanotubes to obtain MPc/Gr and MPc/CNTs *** electrocatalytic behaviors of MPc/Gr and MPc/CNTs electrodes were further *** results show that the central rare earth metal has a large influence on the electrocatalytic *** the MPcs/Gr samples,ScPc with the smallest ionic radius and molecular size can be more uniformly dispersed in graphene,and the hydrogen precipitation overpotential of ScPc/Gr electrode is514 mV,corresponding to a Tafel slope of 148 mV/dec,with better electrocatalytic performance than other rare earth metal *** for the MPc/CNTs composites,laPc,which has the largest ionic radius and molecular size,is more uniformly dispersed on the surface of CNTs,so that the laPc/CNT electrode exhibits the best LSV performance with the smallest corresponding Tafel slope(176 mV/dec).The main reason is the different binding modes of MPcs molecules in Gr and *** rare earth phthalocyanine is combined with layered graphene,the smallest size of rare earth phthalocyanine(ScPc)is more easily embedded in the graphene layer,resulting in better homogeneity of the composite,larger effective contact area and better electrocatalytic *** contrast,when rare earth phthalocyanine is bound to carbon nanotubes in a tubular structure,it is mainly bound by attaching to the surface or being entangled by the carbon *** this case,the rare-earth phthalocyanine molecules(laPc)with larger layer spacing can provide more contact area with CNTs,forming a more uniform and effective composite,which eventually provides more active sites and better electrocatalytic performance.

Introduction: Violence is a major problem in today’s workplace. It affects workers in all sectors of activity. The aim of the study was to determine the prevalence and factors associated with violence among primary and secondary school staff in ouagadougou. materials and Methods: This was a cross-sectional, descriptive and analytical study that took place from April 22, 2020 to February 18, 2021 in primary and secondary schools in ouagadougou. It focused on the educational staff of these establishments. Results: A total of 362 agents took part in the study. The average age of participants was 36.5 ± 6.89 years. The sex ratio was 1.62 men to one woman. The majority of workers were teachers, with 300 participants (82.87%). The average job tenure was 7 years ± 6.91 years. With regard to violence in the workplace, 87 workers were victims, representing a prevalence of 24.03%. Of these workers, 59 (67.81%) were men and 36 (41.38%) had less than six years’ experience. Acts of violence were predominantly pushing observed in 15 workers (50%), while shouting and aggressive tone dominated psychological violence and concerned 54 cases (36.24%). On univariate analysis, the factors associated with violence were age (p = 0.046) and type of establishment (p = 0.012). On multivariate analysis, only the nature of the establishment was the only factor associated with the occurrence of violence among teaching staff (OR = 2.3690, p = 0.0213). Conclusion: The prevalence of violence is high in these educational establishments. Age and type of establishment are factors associated with its occurrence. It is therefore necessary to develop an effective strategy for preventing this risk in the workplace.

Cancer immunotherapy has emerged as a promising strategy for the treatment of cancer,with the tumor microenvironment(TME)playing a pivotal role in modulating the immune ***47,a cell surface protein,has been identified as a crucial regulator of the TME and a potential therapeutic target for cancer ***,the precise functions and implications of CD47 in the TME during immunotherapy for cancer patients remain incompletely *** comprehensive review aims to provide an overview of CD47’s multifaced role in TME regulation and immune evasion,elucidating its impact on various types of immunotherapy outcomes,including checkpoint inhibitors and CAR T-cell ***,CD47-targeted therapies offer a promising avenue for improving cancer treatment outcomes,especially when combined with other immunotherapeutic *** review also discusses current and potential CD47-targeted therapies being explored for cancer treatment and delves into the associated challenges and opportunities inherent in targeting *** the demonstrated effectiveness of CD47-targeted therapies,there are potential problems,including unintended effects on healthy cells,hematological toxicities,and the development if ***,further research efforts are warranted to fully understand the underlying mechanisms of resistance and to optimize CD47-targeted therapies through innovative combination approaches,ultimately improving cancer treatment ***,this comprehensive review highlights the significance of CD47 as a promising target for cancer immunotherapy and provides valuable insight into the challenges and opportunities in developing effective CD47-targeted therapies for cancer treatment.

Introduction: Microbiology of effusion fluids in children in Burkina Faso is characterized by the scarcity of data. This work aimed to study the bacteriological and antibiotics susceptibility profile of bacteria involved in effusion fluid infections in paediatrics in order to improve the choice of probabilistic antibiotics therapy. Methods: A cross-sectional, descriptive study was used in children aged 0 to 15 years from 2017 to 2020 at the Charles De Gaulle Pediatric University Hospital Center (CHUP-CDG) in ouagadougou. Classical bacteriology methods such as macroscopy, Gram staining, identification galleries and antibiotics susceptibility testing were used. Results: Of 231 samples, 64 bacteria were isolated. The most common bacterial strains of pleural fluid were Staphylococcus aureus (25%) and 40% for Enterobacteriaceae. Of the peritoneal fluid, 77% were Enterobacteriaceae with 57% Escherichia coli;and from joint fluid, 33% were S. aureus and 22% for P. aeruginosa. The overall susceptibility profile showed 29% extended-spectrum beta-lactamase-producing Enterobacteriaceae (ESBL), 10% methicillin-resistant S. aureus (MRSA), and 8% carbapenemases. Conclusion: Bacteriological profile is characterized by ESBL-producing Enterobacteriaceae and MRSA. The most active antibiotics were macrolides, aminoglycosides, and cefoxitin (methicillin) for Gram-positive cocci, carbapenems, and aminoglycosides for Gram-negative bacilli. Then, the monitoring of antibiotics resistance must be permanent.

Bubble dynamics properties play a crucial and significant role in the design and optimization of gas-solid fluidized *** this study,the bubble dynamics properties of four B-particles were investigated in a quasi-two-dimensional(quasi-2D)fluidized bed,including bubble equivalent diameter,bubble size distribution,average bubble density,bubble aspect ratio,bubble hold-up,bed expansion ratio,bubble radial position,and bubble *** studies were performed by computational particle fluid dynamics(CPFD)numerical simulation and post-processed with digital image analysis(dia)technique,at superficial gas velocities ranging from 2u_(mf) to 7u_(mf).The simulated results shown that the CPFD simulation combining with dia technique post-processing could be used as a reliable method for simulating bubble dynamics properties in quasi-2D gas-solid fluidized ***,it seemed not desirable for the simulation of bubble motion near the air distributor at higher superficial gas velocity from the simulated average bubble density *** superficial gas velocity significantly affected the bubble equivalent diameter and evolution,while it had little influence on bubble size distribution and bubble aspect ratio distribution for the same *** time-averaged bubble hold-up and bed expansion ratio increased with the increase of superficial gas *** core-annular flow structures could be found in the fluidized bed for all *** average bubble rising velocity increased with the increasing bubble equivalent *** bubble lateral movement,the smaller bubbles might be more susceptible,and superficial gas velocity had a little influence on the absolute lateral velocity of *** simulated results presented a valuable and novel approach for studying bubble dynamics *** comprehensive understanding of bubble dynamics behaviors in quasi-2D gas-solid fluidized beds would provide support in the design,operation,and optimization of gas-solid

Superlattice hydrogen storage alloys offer a compelling advantage with rapid hydriding rate and high storage ***,its practical applications face challenges including complex structure,low dehydriding capacity,and cyclic *** this work,we successfully prepared la_(0.66)Mg_(0.34)Ni_(3.5-x)Co_(x) superlattice hydrogen storage alloys with enhanced dehydriding capacity and stability by partially substituting Co for Ni.X-ray diffraction(XRD)refinements analysis reveals the presence of(la,Mg)_(3)Ni_(9),(la,Mg)_5Ni_(19),and laNi_(5) phases within the *** Co substitution in the la_(0.06)Mg_(0.34)Ni_(3.4)Co_(0.1)alloy,there is a significant increase in content of the(la,Mg)_(3)Ni_(9) phase and a reduction in the hysteresis factor,resulting in an improved reversible hydrogen storage capacity from 1.45 wt%to 1.60 wt%.The dehydriding kinetics of the alloy is controlled by diffusion model with an activation energy of 8.40 kJ/***,the dehydriding enthalpy value of the Co-substituted alloy decreases from 30.84 to 29.85 kJ/***,the cycling performance of the alloy after Co substitution exhibits excellent stability,with a capacity retention rate of 92.3%after 100 *** findings provide valuable insights for the development of cost-effective hydrogen storage materials.

The distribution of oil and gas resources is intricately connected to the underlying structure of the ***,investigating the characteristics of lithospheric thickness and its correlation with oil and gas basins is highly *** research utilizes recently enhanced geological–geophysical data,including topographic,geoid,rock layer thickness,variable rock layer density,and interface depth *** the principles of lithospheric isostasy and heat conduction,we compute the laterally varying lithospheric thickness in the China seas and adjacent *** these results,two pivotal parameters for different types of oil and gas basins were statistically analyzed:the minimum lithospheric thickness and the relative fluctuation in lithospheric thickness.A semiquantitative analysis was used to explore the connection between these parameters and the hydrocarbon abundance within the oil and gas *** study unveils distinct variations in lithospheric thickness among basins,with oil and gas rich basins exhibiting a thicker lithosphere in the superimposed basins of central China and a thinner lithosphere in the rift basins of eastern ***,the relative fluctuations in lithospheric thickness in basins demonstrate significant disparities:basins rich in oil and gas often exhibit greater thickness ***,in the offshore basins of China,a conspicuous negative linear correlation is observed between the minimum lithospheric thickness and the relative fluctuation in lithospheric *** study posits that deep-seated thermal upwelling results in lithospheric undulations and extensional thinning in oil and gas ***,sustained deep-seated heat influences sedimentary materials in basins,creating favorable conditions for oil and gas *** insights derived from this study contribute to a quantitative understanding of the intricate relationships between deep lithospheric structures and oil and gas basins.
