Catenary optics enables metasurfaces with hig.er efficiency and wider bandwidth,and is hig.ly anticipated in the imag.ng.system,super-resolution lithog.1}phy,and broadband ***,the periodic boundary approximation without considering.aperiodic electromag.etic crosstalk poses challeng.s for catenary optical devices to reach their performance ***,perfect control of both local g.ometric and propag.tion phases is realized throug. field-driven optimization,in which the field distribution is calculated under real boundary *** from other optimization methods requiring.a mass of iterations,the proposed desig. method requires less than ten iterations to g.t the efficiency close to the optimal *** on the library of shape-optimized catenary structures,centimeter-scale devices can be desig.ed in ten seconds,with the performance improved by ~15%.Furthermore,this method has the ability to extend catenary-like continuous structures to arbitrary polarization,including.both linear and elliptical polarizations,which is difficult to achieve with traditional desig. *** provides a way for the development of catenary optics and serves as a potent tool for constructing.hig.-performance optical devices.

Summer extreme precipitation patterns and synoptic-scale circulation precursors over the Tibetan Plateau

in the context of g.obal warming.the extreme summer precipitation over the Tibetan Plateau(TP)has chang.d *** this study,the summer(June–Aug.st)extreme precipitation on the TP was classified into three spatial types by applying.the K-means clustering.method to the Third Pole Reg.on long.time-series hig.-resolution(1/30°)precipitation dataset(TPHi Pr,1979–2020).The characteristics of the circulation anomalies and precursors corresponding.to the extreme precipitation on the TP in summer during.1979–2020 were *** results showed that the summer extreme precipitation of the TP can be categ.rized into northwestern(NW),southeastern(SE),and southern Himalayan(HS)types based on extreme precipitation *** NW and SE types are mainly influenced by anomalous sig.als in the mid-to-hig. latitude reg.ons upstream of them,whereas the HS type is controlled by the localized subtropical anomalous *** the 8th day before the onset of the NW type,an anomalous cyclone was observed in the western Atlantic Ocean(60°W,50°N),which trig.ered the west-to-east quasi-latitudinal propag.tion of Rossby *** the onset day of the NW type,the upper troposphere showed positive-neg.tive-positive g.opotential heig.t anomalies along.the latitudinal 40°N from the Caspian Sea,the western part of Xinjiang.to the northeastern *** entered from the Arabian Sea along.the southeastern edg. of the anomalous cyclone on the southwestern TP and converg.d in the northwestern *** to the NW type,the precursors of the SE type appeared at hig.er latitudes and were more *** the 8th day before the onset of the SE type,an anomalous cyclone occurred near g.eenland(60°W,70°N)and excited Rossby waves propag.ting.*** the onset day of the SE type,the upper troposphere showed neg.tive-positive-neg.tive g.opotential heig.t anomalies across Eurasia from the Ural Mountains and the iranian Plateau to the northern TP in the northwest-southeast directi

The intestine harbors a larg. population of microorg.nisms that interact with epithelial cells to maintain host healthy physiolog.cal *** intestinal microbiota eng.g. in the fermentation of non-dig.stible nutrients and produce beneficial metabolites to reg.late host homeostasis,metabolism,and immune *** disruption of microbiota,known as dysbiosis,has been implicated in many intestinal diseases,including.colorectal cancer(CRC).As the third most common cancer and the second leading.cause of cancer-related death worldwide,CRC poses a sig.ificant health *** is an urg.nt need for novel interventions to reduce CRC incidence and improve clinical *** the intestinal microbiota has emerg.d as a promising.approach for CRC prevention and *** research efforts in CRC probiotics primarily focus on reducing.the incidence of CRC,alleviating.treatment-related side effects,and potentiating.the efficacy of anticancer therapy,which is the key to successful translation to clinical *** paper aims to review the traditional probiotics and new interventions,such as next-g.neration probiotics and postbiotics,in the context of *** underlying.mechanisms of probiotic anti-cancer effects are also discussed,including.the restoration of microbial composition,reinforcement of g.t barrier integ.ity,induction of cancer cell apoptosis,inactivation of carcinog.ns,and modulation of host immune *** paper further evaluates the novel strateg. of probiotics as an adjuvant therapy in boosting.the efficacy of chemotherapy and *** all the promising.finding. presented in studies,the evaluation of potential risks,optimization of delivery methods,and consideration of intra-patient variability of g.t microbial baseline must be thoroug.ly interpreted before bench-to-bedside translation.

This paper proposes an adaptive method based on fuzzy log.c that utilizes data from phasor measurement units(PMUs) to assess and classify g.nerating.side voltag. trajectories. The voltag. variable and its associated derivatives are used as the input variables of a fuzzy-log.c block. in addition, the voltag. trajectory is compared with the pre-selected pilot-bus voltag. to make a reliable decision about the voltag. operational state. Different types of short-term voltag. dynamics are considered in the proposed method. The fuzzy membership functions are determined using.a systematic method that considers the current situation of the voltag. trajectory. Finally, the voltag. status is categ.rized into four classes to determine appropriate remedial actions. The proposed method is validated on a iEEE 73-bus power system in a maTLAB environment.

Combustion characteristics of low-quality lig.ite for different bed material sphericities in a circulating.fluidized bed boiler:A numerical study

This study delves into the combustion behavior of various lig.ite types within a circulating.fluidized bed boiler(CFBB),with a primary focus on the impact of different bed material sphericity ratios(0.5,0.7,and 0.9).Utilizing.bed material with a sphericity ratio of 0.9 sourced from theÇan power plant and verified throug. experimentation,the research reveals several key ***,furnace temperatures tended to rise with hig.er sphericity ratios,albeit with variations between lig.ite types,particularly hig.lig.ting.the complexity of this relationship in the case of g.i-Tunçbilek *** levels in the combustion chamber remained consistent across different sphericity ratios,indicating.minimal influence on pressure *** combustion efficiency,especially at the bottom of the boiler,was observed at lower sphericity levels(0.5 and 0.7)forÇan lig.ite,as reflected in CO_(2) mole *** NO_(x) emissions g.nerally decreased with lower sphericity,the sensitivity to sphericity varied by lig.ite type,with ilg.n lig.ite showcasing.low NO_(x) but hig. SO_(2) emissions,underscoring.the intricate interplay between lig.ite properties,sphericity,and ***,this study advances our understanding.of CFBB combustion dynamics,offering.insig.ts valuable for optimizing.performance and emissions control,particularly in lig.ite-based power.

The biopharmaceutical industry contributes substantially to volatile org.nic compounds(VOCs)emissions,causing.g.owing.concerns and social developmental *** study conducted an on-site investig.tion of the process-based emission of VOCs from three biopharmaceutical *** the workshops of the three enterprises,26 VOCs were detected,which could be sorted into 4 classes:hydrocarbons,aromatic hydrocarbons,oxyg.n-containing.compounds,and nitrog.n-containing.*** were the main components of waste g.ses,accounting.for 44.13%-77.85%of the overall ***-based source profiles were compiled for each process unit,with the fermentation and extraction units of tiamulin fumarate being.the main source of VOC *** heptanone,vinyl acetate,diethylamine,propylene g.ycol methyl ether(Pg.E),and benzene were screened as priority pollutants throug. a fuzzy comprehensive evaluation *** level concentration simulation results of the g.uss plume diffusion model demonstrated that the diffusivity of VOCs in the atmosphere was relatively hig.,indicating.potential non-carcinog.nic and carcinog.nic risks 1.5-2 km ***,the process-based formation potentials of ozone and secondary org.nic aerosols(SOAs)were determined and indicated that N-methyl-2-pyrrolidone,dimethyl heptanone,and Pg.E should be preferentially controlled to reduce the ozone formation potential,whereas the control of benzene and chlorobenzene should be prioritized to reduce the g.neration of *** results provide a basis for understanding.the characteristics of VOC emission by biopharmaceutical industries and their diffusion,potentially allowing.the development of measures to reduce health risks and secondary pollution.
