Owing to their exceptional properties, high-entropy alloys(HEAs) and high-entropy materials have emerged as promising research areas and shown diverse applications. Here,the recent advances in the field are comprehensively reviewed,organized into five sections. The first section introduces the background of HEAs, covering their definition, significance,application prospects, basic properties, design principles, and microstructure. The subsequent section focuses on cutting-edge high-entropy structural materials, highlighting developments such as nanostructured alloys, grain boundary engineering,eutectic systems, cryogenic alloys, thin films, micro-nano-lattice structures, additive manufacturing, high entropy metallic glasses, nano-precipitate strengthened alloys, composition modulation, alloy fibers, and refractory systems. In the following section, the emphasis shifts to functional materials, exploring HEAs as catalysts, magneto-caloric materials, corrosion-resistant alloys, radiation-resistant alloys, hydrogen storage systems, and materials for biomedicine. Additionally, the review encompasses functional high-entropy materials outside the realm of alloys, including thermoelectric, quantum dots, nanooxide catalysts, energy storage materials, negative thermal expansion ceramics,and high-entropy wave absorption materials. The paper concludes with an outlook, discussing future directions and potential growth areas in the field. Through this comprehensive review,researchers, engineers, and scientists may gain valuable insights into the recent progress and opportunities for further exploration in the exciting domains of high-entropy alloys and functional materials.

目的为药品生产企业执行《药品生产质量管理规范》,提高药品生产质量管理提供对策建议。方法采用回顾性统计分析方法,对2020年~2022年甘肃省429家药品生产企业现场检查发现缺陷项目进行分析。结果按照出现频次统计,缺陷项目主要分布在设备、质量控制与质量保证、文件管理、机构与人员、附录中药饮片、厂房与设施、物料与产品、生产管理。结论企业应进一步落实主体责任,提高安全生产意识,有针对性做好生产管理工作,注重药品生产质量管理人才培养及强化实际培训效果,建立符合自身实际的文件体系,保证质量体系有效运行。

Genome-Wide Association Studies Reveal New Genetic Targets for Five Panicle Traits of International Rice Varieties

Narrow genetic background is a key limiting factor in breeding stable high-yielding rice. The introduction and utilization of international rice core germplasm is an important way to increase the genetic diversity of domestic rice varieties. We conducted a genome-wide association study on 5 panicle traits of 315 rice accessions introduced from the international rice micro-core germplasm bank. Based on the tests from Yangzhou of China and Arkansas of American, environment exhibited a significant impacts on panicle length and primary branch number, while grain length, grain width and grain length/width ratio were insensitive to environment changes. We discovered a total of 7, 5, 10, 8 and 6 chromosomal regions or single nucleotide polymorphism marker loci that were significantly associated with primary branch number, panicle length, grain length, grain width and grain length/width ratio, respectively. Among them, eleven regions were associated with grain shape and one region associated with primary branch number, showing the good consistence in two different environments. Significant linear correlation was discovered between the average trait value and the number of favorable alleles carried by the varieties in all associated loci. Among the associated loci, varieties in aromatic and tropical japonica sub-groups possessed most favorable alleles, while those in temperate japonica sub-group contained the least. The domestic varieties mainly harbored unfavorable alleles in six of the associated loci being detected. On the contrary, 15 varieties from 11 different countries harbored more favorable alleles （as many as 30 or more） than the others. Remarkably, all these 15 varieties belonged to the tropical japonica sub-group. In conclusion, our study demonstrates that varieties in the tropical japonica sub-group had high potentials for breeding stable high-yielding rice. The solid-state reaction of Mo and Si mixed powders produced by the mechanical alloying (ma) was examined using differential thermal analyzer (DTA) and X-ray diffraction (XRD). XRD patterns presented herein suggested that the volume fraction of β-MoSi2 increased with increasing milling time. After milling for 5 h, a weaker diffraction line of (101) plane of hexagonal p-MoSi2 was observed, from 15 h to 50 h, the diffraction lines contributed by α-MoSi2 emerged and remained almost unchanged, but up to 163 h, α-MoSi2 peaks disappeared from the XRD pattern and DTA experiments found that there were two exothermic peaks.

Gonadotropin treatment for male partial congenital hypogonadotropic hypogonadism in Chinese patients

Partial congenital hypogonadotropic hypogonadism(PCHH)is caused by an insufficiency in,but not a complete lack of,gonadotropin *** leads to reduced testosterone production,mild testicular enlargement,and partial pubertal *** studies have shown the productivity of spermatogenesis in patients with *** compared the outcomes of gonadotropin-induced spermatogenesis between patients with PCHH and those with complete congenital hypogonadotropic hypogonadism(CCHH).This retrospective study included 587 patients with CHH who were treated in Peking Union Medical College Hospital(Beijing,China)from January 2008 to September 2016.A total of 465 cases were excluded from data analysis for testosterone or gonadotropin-releasing hormone treatment,cryptorchidism,poor compliance,or incomplete medical *** defined male patients with PCHH as those with a testicular volume of≥4 ml and patients with a testicular volume ofman chorionic gonadotropin and human menopausal gonadotropin and were monitored for 24 *** size,serum luteinizing hormone levels,follicle-stimulating hormone levels,serum total testosterone levels,and sperm count were recorded at each *** gonadotropin therapy,patients with PCHH had a higher spermatogenesis rate(92.3%)than did patients with CCHH(74.7%).During 24-month combined gonadotropin treatment,the PCHH group took significantly less time to begin producing sperm compared with the CCHH group(median time:11.7 vs 17.8 months,Pmatogenesis success rate and sperm concentrations and require shorter treatment periods for sperm production.

We operated a p-type point contact high purity germanium(PPCGe)detector(CDEX-1B,1.008 kg)in the China Jinping Underground Laboratory(CJPL)for 500.3 days to search for neutrinoless double beta(0νββ)decay of^(76)Ge.A total of 504.3 kg⋅day effective exposure data was *** anti-coincidence and the multi/single-site event(MSE/SSE)discrimination methods were used to suppress the background in the energy region of interest(ROI,1989–2089 keV for this work)with a factor of 23.A background level of 0.33 counts/(keV⋅kg⋅yr)was *** lower limit on the half life of^(76)Ge 0νββdecay was constrained as T_(1/2)^(0ν)>1.0×10^(23)yr(90%C.L.),corresponding to the upper limits on the effective majorana neutrino mass:<3.2–7.5 eV.

Efficacy and safety of Xiangsha Liujunzi granules for functional dyspepsia: A multi-center randomized double-blind placebo-controlled clinical study

AIM To assess the efficacy and safety of a Chinese herbal medicine (CHM), Xiangsha Liujunzi granules, in the treatment of patients with functional dyspepsia (FD). METHODS We performed a randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled trial with patients from three centers. Two hundred and sixteen subjects diagnosed with FD according to ROME. criteria and confirmed by upper gastrointestinal endoscopy and spleen-deficiency and Qi-stagnation syndrome were selected to receive Xiangsha Liujunzi granules or placebo for 4 wk in a 2: 1 ratio by blocked randomization. The subjects also received follow-up after the 4-wk intervention. Herbal or placebo granules were dissolved in 300 mL of water. Participants in both groups were administered 130 mL (45 degrees C) three times a day. Participants were evaluated prior to and following 4 wk of the intervention in terms of changes in the postprandial discomfort severity scale (PDSS) score, clinical global impression (CGI) scale score, hospital anxiety and depression scale (HADS) score, traditional Chinese medicine symptoms score (SS), scores of various domains of the 36-item short form health survey (SF-36), gastric emptying (GE) and any observed adverse effects. RESULTS Compared with the placebo group, patients in the CHM group showed significant improvements in the scores of PDSS, HADS, SS, SF-36 and CGI scale (P mal stomach and distal stomach (P matic improvement in patients with FD.

Although irritable bowel syndrome(IBS) and inflammatory bowel disease(IBD) are clinically common diseases with unclear pathogenesis, both of them are related to the immune system. With progress in studies on their pathogenesis, the two diseases are currently believed to be associated with the presence of intestinal inflammation and intestinal mucosal immune disorder. In recent years, a new approach for the prevention and treatment of chronic intestinal disease is to protect the complete structure and normal immunity of the intestinal mucosal barrier during the treatment of intestinal diseases. However, traditional Chinese medicine(TCM) may have more advantages in regulating the imbalance of the intestinal immune microenvironment, as various single herbs and compounds of TCM have been investigated from the perspective of immune regulation. The use of TCM is prevalent in China. The effectiveness of these therapies appears to be supported by preliminary evidence and clinical experience, although the mechanisms that underlie these effects will require further research. In this paper, with common chronic bowel diseases including IBS, ulcerative colitis and Crohn's disease as the research objects, the relationship between TCM and immunity was explored from the perspectives of the pathogenesis of intestinal mucosal immune injury, the correlation between TCM syndromes and immune disorders, and TCM immune regulation. Moreover, the problems and limitations of the present study were pointed out, and several suggestions were proposed. The purpose of this article is to explore the potential mechanism of TCM on intestinal mucosal immunity in chronic intestinal diseases.
