In classical control systems,the plant to be controlled does not have intention to gain its payof or benefit,which is obviously not the case in various aspects of social and economic systems(or subsystems).In the latter case,competition and cooperation between players who will optimize their own payofs turn out to be an important feature,and a fundamental problem is how to achieve cooperation from these rational *** this paper,we present a neat way to lead to cooperation in dynamical Prisoner’s Dilemma *** our scenario,the two players are heterogenous with hierarchical roles as the‘leader’and the‘follower’*** is shown that the system will co-evolve into and stay at the cooperation state if and only if the leader is restricted not to take the dominating *** the special case of 1-step-memory,the optimal strategies for the leader and follower are‘Tit for Tat’and‘ALL C’*** this framework,both the heterogeneity of the players’roles and the multiplicity of time-scales are crucial for cooperation,which are quite natural settings from the view point of control ***,the boundary for cooperation also turns out to depend on the relative payofs of the players.

In recent years,power saving problem has become more and more important in many fields and attracted a lot of research *** this paper,the authors consider the power saving problem in the virtualized computing *** there are multiple objectives in the system as well as many factors influencing the objectives,the problem is complex and *** authors will formulate the problem as an optimization problem of power consumption with a prior requirement on performance,which is taken as the response time in the *** solve the problem,the authors design the adaptive controller based on least-square self-tuning regulator to dynamically regulate the computing resource so as to track a given reasonable reference performance and then minimize the power consumption using the tracking result supplied by the controller at each *** is implemented based on the data collected from real machines and the time delay of turning on/off the machine is included in the *** results show that this method based on adaptive control theory can save power consumption greatly with satisfying the performance requirement at the same time,thus it is suitable and effective to solve the problem.

This paper explores the application of noncooperative game theory together with the concept of Nash equilibrium to the investigation of some basic problems on multi-scale structure, especially the meso-scale structure in the multi-phase complex systems in chemical engineering. The basis of this work is the energy-minimization-multi-scale （EMMS） model proposed by Li and Kwauk （1994） and Li, et al. （2013） which identifies the multi-scale structure as a result of ＇compromise-in-competition between dominant mechanisms＇ and tries to solve a multi-objective optimization problem. However, the existing methods often integrate it into a problem of single objective optimization, which does not clearly reflect the ＇compromise-in-competition＇ mechanism and causes heavy computation burden as well as uncertainty in choosing suitable weighting factors. This paper will formulate the compromise in competition mechanism in EMMS model as a noncooperative game with constraints, and will describe the desired stable system state as a generalized Nash equilibrium. Then the authors will investigate the game theoretical approach for two typical systems in chemical engineering, the gas-solid fluidiza- tion （GSF） system and turbulent flow in pipe. Two different cases for generalized Nash equilibrinm in such systems will be well defined and distinguished. The generalize Nash equilibrium will be solved accurately for the GSF system and a feasible method will be given for turbulent flow in pipe. These results coincide with the existing computational results and show the feasibility of this approach, which overcomes the disadvantages of the existing methods and provides deep insight into the mechanisms of multi-scale structure in the multi-phase complex systems in chemical engineering.

Understanding the mesoscale structure and regime transition in bubble columns is of great significance for reactor design and *** on the energy-minimization multiscale(EMMS)model,a noncooperative game model with constraints is proposed to investigate the structural properties of gas-liquid systems in which small and large bubbles are chosen as players and the energy consumption form the objective *** conservation equations of the system can be regarded as the constraints of the *** the formulated noncooperative game model,the concept of the generalized Nash equilibrium(GNE)is used to characterize the *** algorithm is developed to numerically compute the GNE and some important structural parameters in the *** numerical results show the existence of the GNE for all values of the superficial gas velocity *** Ug varies,the trends in the state variables can be observed and the critical point of Ug *** overall trend of the flow regime transition agrees with the original EMMS model and experimental results,although the GNE calculation also reveals different single-bubble dominant mechanisms with increasing Ug.

The mechanism of the meso-scale structure in multi-scale reaction systems in the bubble columns is of great significance in chemical engineering. A typical analytical method to investigate the mechanism for the regime transitions of the flow in the system is through the EMMS（energy-minimization-multi-scale） model. In the EMMS model, by introducing the stability condition to reflect the idea of ‘compromise-in-competition between dominant mechanisms’, the researchers can transform the multiple objectives（energy consumptions） problem（MOP） in the system into a single objective problem（SOP） to be optimized. In our previous works, we formulated the multi-objective problem（MOP） in the gas-liquid system as a noncooperative game between the tendencies of small and large bubbles. Since there are two players and three free variables, the problem arises to distribute appropriate strategies to the players. Based on this idea, we have build two different game models by two different ways of strategy distribution. They showed different systems states at GNE while the first game model seemed to agree with the prediction of EMMS model on the transition regime. In this paper, we will give some explanations on these findings. We will show that the optimal point of the SOP in EMMS model differs with the GNE of the fitst game model actually. This reveals the complexity of the multi-phase reaction systems and implies that the mechanism of the meso-scale structure is absolutely not naive and needs more further investigation.

This paper studies the meso-scale structure in the gas-liquid systems in bubble columns which are widely used in industrial engineering from a novel view of noncooperative *** on the dual-bubble-size（DBS） model in the literature[Yang et al,2007] which extended the idea of "compromise-in-competition between dominant mechanisms" in the energyminimization-multi-scale（EMMS） model to the hydrodynamics in the bubble columns,this paper formulates the problem as a noncooperative game between the different dominant mechanisms which are regarded to optimize the respective objective functions,i.e.,different energy *** conservation equations of system state variables are considered as constraints on the strategies in the *** we give the option of strategy variables in the game and prove their resonability as well as *** Nash equilibrium（GNE） for the game is then defined as well as the algorithm is proposed.

目的观察柴枣龙牡汤联合耳穴贴压治疗2型糖尿病周围神经病变(DPN)伴抑郁状态的临床疗效。方法将60例DPN伴抑郁状态患者随机分为2组,2组均行常规基础治疗,对照组30例加氟哌噻吨美利曲辛片口服治疗,治疗组30例在对照组治疗基础上加柴枣龙牡汤联合耳穴贴压治疗。2组均7 d为1个疗程,共治疗2个疗程。检测比较2组治疗前后空腹血糖(FPG)、餐后2 h血糖(2 h PG)及糖化血红蛋白(HbA1c)水平变化,正中神经、胫神经及腓肠神经运动神经传导速度(MNCV)和感觉神经传导速度(SNCV)变化,汉密尔顿抑郁量表(HAMD)-17评分及疼痛视觉模拟评分法(VAS)评分变化;比较2组临床疗效。结果治疗组总有效率(93.33%)高于对照组(70.00%,P<0.05),临床疗效优于对照组(P<0.05)。2组治疗后FPG、2 h PG及Hb A1c水平均较本组治疗前下降(P<0.05),且治疗组低于对照组(P<0.05)。2组治疗后正中神经、胫神经及腓肠神经MNCV均较本组治疗前改善(P<0.05),且治疗组较对照组改善更明显(P<0.05)。2组治疗后HAMD-17及VAS评分均较本组治疗前降低(P<0.05),且治疗组低于对照组(P<0.05)。结论柴枣龙牡汤联合耳穴贴压治疗DPN伴抑郁状态疗效确切,能有效降低患者血糖,改善神经传导速度,缓解患者疼痛及抑郁症状。
