Formation damage due to fines migration is a major reason for well productivity decline for oil and gas *** fines are small enough to pass through pore throats causing pore plugging and permeability *** factors affect fines migration such as flow rate,salinity,pH value,reservoir temperature and oil polarity,as well as changes in chemical environment induced by Enhanced Oil Recovery(EOR)*** paper focuses on the effect of flow rates on fines detachment from the grain surfaces,which causing permeability *** the fluid inside the reservoir moves towards the wellbore,the fluid velocity increases,when the fluid reaches the critical flow rate these fines can be picked up into the *** fines captured by thinner pore throats causing pore plugging and permeability *** concentrations of nanoparticles were used to fix these fines on their sources and prevent their mobilization at high flow *** unique technique used in this study is changing the potential surfaces between fines and grain surfaces to prevent fines movement above the critical flow ***_(2)and MgO NPs used in this study can be adsorbed on the pore surfaces and reduce the repulsion forces between fines and pore ***_(2) and MgO nanoparticles at different concentrations(0.25,0.50 and 0.75 g/L)were used on treating the Abu-Rawash sandstone reservoir using Formation Damage System Cell *** experimental studies showed that using MgO NPs would prevent fines detachment from the pore surfaces and decrease the reduction of permeability at high flow rates more than SiO_(2) *** optimum concentration of MgO NPs was at 0.5 g/L as the permeability remediation at this concentration reaches to 64.83%.

Price prediction of goods is a vital point of research due to how common e-commerce platforms *** are several efforts conducted to forecast the price of items using classicmachine learning algorithms and *** models can predict prices of various financial instruments,e.g.,gold,oil,cryptocurrencies,stocks,and second-hand *** these efforts,the literature has no model for predicting the prices of seasonal goods(e.g.,Christmas gifts).In this context,we framed the task of seasonal goods price prediction as a regression ***,we utilized a real online trailer dataset of Christmas gifts and then we proposed several machine learningbased models and one statistical-based model to predict the prices of these seasonal ***,we utilized a real-life dataset of Christmas gifts for the prediction ***,we proposed support vector regressor(SVR),linear regression,random forest,and ridgemodels as machine learningmodels for price ***,we proposed an autoregressive-integrated-movingaverage(ARIMA)model for the same purpose as a statistical-based ***,we evaluated the performance of the proposed models;the comparison shows that the best performing model was the random forest model,followed by the ARIMA model.

Hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC)is the sixth most common primary malignancy worldwide,and the third most common cause of death among cancers *** occurs in several pre-existing conditions,including hepatitis C,hepatitis B virus,and non-alcoholic *** used to be the country with the heaviest hepatitis C virus(HCV)*** relationship between HCV and HCC is an important research *** Egypt,HCC is a significant public health problem.A possible cause for the increasing rates of detection of HCC in Egypt is the mass screening program that was carried by the government for detecting and treating HCV.A multidisciplinary approach is now widely applied to HCC management in health centers all over *** treatment modalities are available in Egypt,with success rates comparable to global *** Egyptian health authorities have made the elimination of HCV from Egypt a special priority,and this approach should lead to a decrease in number of HCC cases in the near *** this article we review the current situation of HCC in Egypt,including epidemiological aspects,relevant risk factors for HCC development,strategies,and efforts established by health authorities for the screening and prevention of both HCV and HCC in *** highlight the different modalities for HCC treatment.

We use the Pair Approximation method to analyze the magnetic and magnetocaloric behaviors of diluted mixed spin SA=1 and spin SB=1/2 with the anisotropic Heisenberg model, on a cubic lattice with coordination number z=6. Our system is described in presence of an external magnetic field;the phase diagram and thermodynamic properties related to the concentration of magnetic atom(A or B) and the single ion anisotropy are constructed and *** attention is paid to magnetocaloric properties provided by isothermal entropy change as well as the cooling capacity. These cooling power keys are plotted and discussed as a function of interaction anisotropy and magnetic component concentration of two sublattices ions A and B. Numerical results show a double peak structure in the entropy change curve and the inverse magnetocaloric effect related to the presence of the negative single-ion anisotropy.

Eyelid Wounds: Epidemiological, Clinical and Etiological Aspects

Purpose: The aim is to show epidemiological, clinical and etiological characteristics of palpebral wounds. Methodology: This was a retrospective study focusing on patients with an eyelid wound, over a 10-year period from 2012 to 2021. We collected and analyzed the data using Excel. Results: The frequency of eyelid wounds was 0.1%. The average age of our patients was 19.38 years with a range of 1 and 62 years. The sex ratio was 3.7. Eighty-one percent of patients lived in Dakar. Fifty-seven percent (57%) of patients consulted less than 24 hours after the trauma and 7% of patients on D1. The circumstances were brawls (11%), domestic accidents (9%), road accidents (6%), and work accidents (6%). We noted 1 case of dog bite. Thirteen patients presented with post-traumatic decreased visual acuity. Involvement of the isolated upper eyelid was noted in 40% of cases and both eyelids in 15% of cases. Involvement of the lacrimal ducts was noted in 17% of cases, and that of the free edge in 21% of cases. Eyelid wounds were associated with eyeball damage in 21% of cases. Various associated lesions were observed. Ninety-one percent of patients received surgical treatment. Three cases of superinfections, 1 case of conjunctival granuloma and 1 case of phthysis of the eyeball with postoperative retinal detachment were noted. Conclusion: Eyelid sores are relatively common in our context. They require rapid surgical treatment in order to preserve the functional and aesthetic prognosis. .

The current study was performed to evaluate the liver function status as well as molecular characterization of the recovered worms in rats experimentally infected with F. hepatica. Sixteen male Wister rats aged 30 days were randomly allocated into two groups (n = 8). The first group was infected orally with 15 viable encysted metacercaria of F. hepatica per animal. The other group was kept non-infected (control group). At zero time (before infection), the 2nd, 4th, 6th, 8th, 10th, 12th and 14th weeks post-infection (WPI), blood and serum samples were collected via puncture of retro-orbital plexus of veins from each rat. Serum enzyme level (AST and ALT) and total protein were measured, and the serum protein profile was carried out using agarose gel electrophoresis. During the period of the experiment, serum ALT and AST activities and serum total globulins significantly increased while serum total proteins and albumin markedly decreased in the infected group. On the 14th WPI, the data of the electropherogram showed that globulin fractions (α1-, β- and γ-globulin) levels were significantly increased while α2-globulin was markedly decreased in the infected group. The molecular analysis confirmed the amplification of the ITS1, ITS2 and NDI genes of F. hepatica recovered from the infected liver of rats with amplicon sizes of 630, 510 and 560 bp, respectively. Sequencing of the amplified ITS gene resulted in the determination of 3 strains (PP108836, PP108837, and PP108838). Also, analysis of the ITS2 gene resulted in obtaining 3 isolates under the accession numbers (PP109065, PP109066, and PP109067). In conclusion, fasciolosis in the rat model is suitable for routine experimental infections and caused a pronounced liver dysfunction with discharging of the Fasciola eggs in the faeces and the development of adult stages in the bile ducts. Introduction and Significance: Burn injury (BI) is a considerable health issue which is responsible for around 300,000 deaths and affecting about 11 million people every year worldwide. In Saudi Arabia, the prevalence of BIs array from 112 to 518 per 100,000 per year. The appropriate awareness of performing first aid could facilitate to improve the outcomes of burns. Purpose and Objectives: To appraise the community that acknowledges burns, first aid, and associated factors among the community population in Jazan City, Saudi Arabia. The paper aims to identify limitations to encourage additional research and persuade legislators to develop improved burn-injury care recommendations and training programs. Materials and Methods: An observational-based sample survey was conducted among the people who live in Jazan City aging 13 years or more, during April 5 to May 5, 2023. Data collection was done by a validated online self-administrated questionnaire sent randomly to community members in different parts of Jazan City via social media platforms. Collected data were coded and cleaned by an excel program, and finally exported on SPSS 26.0 software. The variables were analyzed using descriptive statistics like frequencies and percentages. Also, the Chi-square test was used to investigate the relation between different variables, with a significance value of P Results: This study included 243 participants (about 62%) among them were mostly male participants (151) having a university degree. The majority of participants 75% did not take any form of BFA training in the past. This study shows that 69.9% of the participants have inadequate awareness, despite 72% having a constructive attitude towards burn first aid. Previous burn-related first aid training was significantly associated with participants’ knowledge of BFA at a p-value less than 0.05. Partial Maximum Boolean Satisfiability （Partial Max-SAT or PMSAT） is an optimization variant of Boolean satisfiability （SAT） problem, in which a variable assignment is required to satisfy all hard clauses and a maximum number of soft clauses in a Boolean formula. PMSAT is considered as an interesting encoding domain to many reaHife problems for which a solution is acceptable even if some constraints are violated. Amongst the problems that can be formulated as such are planning and scheduling. New insights into the study of PMSAT problem have been gained since the introduction of the Max-SAT evaluations in 2006. Indeed, several PMSAT exact solvers have been developed based mainly on the Davis- Putnam-Logemann-Loveland （DPLL） procedure and Branch and Bound （B^B） algorithms. In this paper, we investigate and analyze a number of exact methods for PMSAT. We propose a taxonomy of the main exact methods within a general framework that integrates their various techniques into a unified perspective. We show its effectiveness by using it to classify PMSAT exact solvers which participated in the 2007~2011 Max-SAT evaluations, emphasizing on the most promising research directions.

NANOPOROUS MATERIALS BASED ON SPIROKETAL AND SPIROTHIOKETAL POLYMERS FOR SEPARATING METHANOL-TOLUENE MIXTURE

Organic microporous materials based on spiroketal and spirothioketal polymers were synthesized through 1,3- dioxol-forming polymerization reaction between pentaerythritol or pentaerythritol tetrathiol and different types of cyclohexa- 1,4-dione derivatives. The structure of the prepared polymers was confirmed by NMR spectroscopy and molecular mass measurements. Nitrogen adsorption/desorption isotherms of the prepared polymers show a large amount of nitrogen adsorbed at low relative pressure indicating microporosity. These polymers have Brunauer Emmitt and Teller （BET） surface areas in the range from 492 （m^2g^-1） to 685 （m^2 g^-1）. The prepared polymers were found to be useful for pervaporation separation of methanol-toluene mixture with a separation factor up to 12.5 and fluxes, varying between 6.7×10-3 kg/（m^2 h） and 13.4 × 10^-3 kg/（m^2 h）.
