Biometric-based authentication systems have attracted more attention than traditional authentication techniques such as passwords in the last two *** biometrics such as fingerprint,palm,iris,palm vein and finger vein and other biometrics have been *** of the challenges in biometrics is physical *** of finger vein is of the biometrics least exposed to physical *** methods have been proposed for authentication with the help of this biometric that suffer from weaknesses such as high computational complexity and low identification *** paper presents a novel method of scattering wavelet-based identity *** wavelet extracts image features from Gabor wavelet filters in a structure similar to convolutional neural *** distinguishes this algorithm from other popular feature extraction methods such as deep learning methods,filter-based methods,statistical methods,etc.,is that this algorithm has very high skill and accuracy in differentiating similar images but belongs to different classes,even when the image is subject to serious damage such as noise,angle changes or pixel location,this descriptor still generates feature vectors in away thatminimizes classifier *** improves classification and *** proposed method has been evaluated using two databases Finger Vein USM(FV-USM)and Homologous Multimodal biometrics Traits(SDUMLA-HMT).In addition to having reasonable computational complexity,it has recorded excellent identification rates in noise,rotation,and transmission *** best,it has a 98.2%identification rate for the SDUMLA-HMT database and a 96.1%identification rate for the FV-USM database.

BACKGROUND Aneurysmal subarachnoid hemorrhage is an emergency that can lead to a high mortality rate and many severe *** is critical to make a rapid radiological evaluation of ruptured intracranial aneurysms(RIAs)to determine the appropriate surgical *** To assess the reliability of computed tomography angiography(CTA)in assessing different features of ruptured intracranial aneurysm and its impact on patient *** The final cohort of this study consisted of 146 patients with RIAs(75 male and 71 female)who underwent cerebral *** age ranged from 25 to 80,and the mean age±SD was 57±8.95 *** readers were asked to assess different features related to the aneurysm and perianeurysmal ***-observer agreement was measured using kappa *** data extracted from non-contrast computed tomography and CTA were considered to categorize the study population into two groups according to the recommended therapeutic *** The inter-observer agreement of both reviewers was excellent for the detection of aneurysms(K=0.95,P=0.001),aneurysm location(K=0.98,P=0.001),and(K=0.98,P=0.001),morphology(K=0.92,P=0.001)and margins(K=0.95,P=0.001).There was an excellent interobserver agreement for the measurement of aneurysm size(K=0.89,P=0.001),neck(K=0.85,P=0.001),and dome-to-neck ratio(K=0.98,P=0.001).There was an excellent inter-observer agreement for the detection of other aneurysm-related features such as thrombosis(K=0.82,P=0.001),calcification(K=1.0,P=0.001),bony landmark(K=0.89,P=0.001)and branch incorporation(K=0.91,P=0.001)as well as perianeurysmal findings including vasospasm(K=0.91,P=0.001),perianeurysmal cyst(K=1.0,P=0.001)and associated vascular lesions(K=0.83,P=0.001).Based on imaging features,87 patients were recommended to have endovascular treatment,while surgery was recommended in 59 patients.71.2%of the study population underwent the recommended *** CTA is a reproducible promising

The most abundant phenolic biopolymer in the biosphere is the *** phenolic biopolymer commonly exists in combination with polysaccharides and other cell wall *** this study,the solvent system dioxane-water is used to extract lignin,which is considered as unaltered native *** dioxane lignin extracted from fig stems was characterized regarding to its structural feature,quantification of its functional groups,molecular weight,and evaluation of its thermal *** and molecular weight distribution of the studied lignin indicated that isolated lignin contained a low amount of sugar(c.a.19%)and had a high weight-average molecular weight(10068 ***-1).Lignin sample had approximately the same amounts of guaiacyl(G)and p-hydroxyphenyl(H)units with relatively fewer syringyl(S)*** isolated lignin revealed good antioxidant ***,it proved to have a high potential of application in new antioxidants formulations.

The Eastern Desert of Egypt suffered a protracted period of deformation triggered by cratonization of the new juvenile crust known as the Arabian Nubian Shield(ANS),which has been proposed for potential gold discoveries associated with the corresponding tectonic *** Fatira area,on the border of Egypt’s Northern and Central Eastern Deserts,is covered with metavolcanic rocks twisted by a dextral relocation of the Fatira Shear Zone(FSZ)relative to the Barud magmatic *** recent study evaluated many deformed post-orogenic granitic intrusions and felsite dikes associated with promising mineralization localities,notably orogenic gold *** combination of various field observations and remote sensing data,followed by the analysis of aeromagnetic enhanced maps,allowed the differentiation of distinct lithologies,structural features,and hydrothermal alterations in the study ***,the integrated results obtained from the different interpretation techniques are utilized to identify and confirm the previously supposed mineralized localities in the Fatira and Abu Zawal areas and predict other matched *** final ASTER,Sentinel 2 hydrothermal alteration,and orientation entropy heat maps demonstrate the association between these mineralized regions and major structures related to the FSZ late stage of deformation rather than other structures studied throughout the area of interest.

Ocular Changes in Egyptian Children on Regular Hemodialysis

Background: Chronic Kidney disease (CKD) may cause ocular disorders for many reasons such as uraemia, haemodialysis and hypertension. Aim: To study the ocular changes in a group of Egyptian children with chronic kidney disease on regular hemodialysis. Subjects and Methods: This cross-sectional comparative study was conducted on 30 children on regular hemodialysis and another 30 age and sex-matched healthy children as controls. Their ages ranged from 4 to 17 years. Complete ophthalmological examination including;visual acuity and refraction, anterior segment examination, intraocular pressure (IOP), fundus examination and colored photography were assessed in the same line with routine laboratory investigations for children on regular hemodialysis and their controls. The relation of ocular disorders with related clinical and biochemical variables was measured statistically. Results: The most common eye abnormalities recorded were decreased visual acuity in Lt eye (73.3%) and Rt eye (60%), followed by corneal & conjunctiva calcification were (16.7%) and (13.3%) respectively and fundal changes (13.3%) of the study population. A significant positive relation was found between fundal changes particularly tortuous blood vessel abnormalities with the duration of hemodialysis and serum creatinine level. Conclusion: Ocular abnormalities are common than expected in children on regular hemodialysis. Visual acuity disorder is the major ocular abnormalities recorded in those patients. Regular ophthalmologic assessment is recommended in children to prevent longer-term visual complications.

Evaluation of the Environmental, Social Effects for the Egyptian National Railways Restructuring

This paper presents the main findings of the environmental and social impact assessment (ESIA) for the Egyptian national railways restructuring. This paper consists of the two parts: 1) modernizing the signaling system on the Arab el Raml-Alexandria Line and creating a Central Traffic Management Center in Tanta;and 2) renewing 200 km of track in Lower and Upper Egypt. The purpose of this evaluation is to identify and examine the potential socio-cultural, economic, and physical impacts of the railway restructuring, and propose measures to mitigate its adverse impacts, and develop plans for managing and monitoring the environmental aspects of the railway restructuring. This paper describes outlines of the environmental and social sensitivities of the railway restructuring area, potentially significant impacts of the proposed project and plans for their mitigation. Detailed information on the environmental and socio economic settings of the railway restructuring, components and activities of the proposed project and the results of the environmental and social impact assessment studies are presented in the body of the paper.

本研究旨在评估周至周边八个乡村猕猴桃果园的根结线虫的发生率。在调查的八个地点的果园中均发现了猕猴桃被根结线虫侵染的情况，因此，总体来说，周至猕猴桃果园的根结线虫发生率为100%。然而，局部引发病害的种类差异也是存在的。最高的发生频率是红丰村，紧随其后是丝竹村，这两个地点的病害发生率均为80%。在丝竹镇的楼观和沙龙胡村，病害发生率是60%和70%，地区的病害发生率是50%。和西北农林科技大学实验站的发生率最低，为40%。各地点病害发生率的调查依据当地果园的根部肿块和卵块数量。关注整个地区的变种情况，根部囊肿和卵块指数在2-5之间包括3和4.，在红枫地区，根部囊肿和卵块的指数最大，发生率也最大。囊肿和卵块指数如上所说为4，因此，该病害发生率最高的地区是丝竹镇红丰村。该调查在周至周边的不同地点的猕猴桃果园进行，采用随机采样的方法，果树病根装入塑料袋保存并贴有标签，带到实验室后处理，彻底的检查囊肿的情况。囊肿发生率和卵块指数在以下比例下衡量：0=0,1=1-2,2=3-10,3=11-30,4=31-100，5=囊肿大于100个或者卵块在每个根系系统上都出现（Taylor and Sasser,1978）每个采集地点的病害的发生频率是以以下公式计算：有根结线虫侵染的果园数/调查的果园数×100 种类鉴定的材料从陕西周至猕猴桃果园中被感染的样品中取得，通过形态学特征进行鉴定。室温下用少量的清水浸泡卵块。J2是利用筛分和比尔曼漏斗法从土壤中萃取得到的。将J2和雄虫置于3%的乙醛浸泡，福尔马林-甘油法处理固定。在测量和准备样品的程序中实际上是运用Golden and Birchfield (1972)的方法,此外，雌虫的固定运用了乳酚法。所有龄期的线虫的测量是利用目镜中的千分尺测量，测量单位精确到微米，除了一些特殊规定的样品。M. incognita、M. hapla、M. javanica和***的二龄幼虫通过比尔曼漏斗法萃取，并用0.9%的NaCl浸泡，防止雌虫破裂。在解剖镜下用解剖刀给予适当的刺激将线虫分离。形态学的微小差异使得这个生物类群的分类鉴定非常困难，本实验的最初目的是找到与M. arenaria, *** and M. javanica, M. Hapla亲缘关系很近的新种，但根据采集到的样本鉴定情况来看，这个类群仍然是与以上所述种群非常相似的类群。从不同发育阶段的根结线虫物种种群Meloidogyne javanica,、M. incognita和***,中提取DNA的几种方法已经被评估。两种检测DNA指纹图谱的方法：基于聚合酶链反应（PCR）的随机扩增多态性DNA（RAPD）被使用。在这些测试过的DNA提取方法中，一种微型准备法最高效，花费成本和时间也最少，而且这种方法对于利用RAPD-PCR从单一子体和母体中提取DNA最为适用。利用PCR将***、 M. arenaria、M. incognita的DNA提取物扩增至大小为670、420或1200碱基对的典型DNA。因此可以说， PCR检测是鉴定中国根结线虫种属的最可靠的方法。使用RAPD-PCR引物PA-01产生了具清晰条带的DNA双链的RAPD分析结果，这将一个种类明显的从其他种类中区别出来，从而可以鉴定三个根结线虫物种。用来鉴定根结线虫种类的分子生物学技术可以在诸如混合的三个种群以及作为一个可靠的检疫测试结果方面尤为有用。为了建立一种快速灵敏的检测和鉴定根结线虫种类的方法，分别扩增了四个和三个自由多态DNA（RAPD）具体片段，并加以鉴定。根据这些RAPD的标记序列，他们对***、M.j avanica,、M. ar enaria,、M. hapla扩增的特异性和效率被设计和测试。这些产生了三部分PCR引物，这些引物被结合使用在可靠灵敏的鉴定M. incognita,、M. j avanica和M. arenaria。这些PCR标记能够从三分之一的单一第二阶段母体被随时复制扩增，因此表明了基于PCR检测的RAPD在常规检测鉴定土壤中和根样品中根结线虫M. incognita,、M. j avanica、 M. arenaria和***种类的实用价值。

发光二极管(LED)作为新型光源以其质量轻、体积小和耐久性好的特点被广泛应用于园艺植物的生长和光形态发生方面的研究。LED这些良好的特性使其可应用于作物生产,不仅可以适用于培养箱而且也适用于温室。在作物生产中,光照强度、光质和光周期对许多种类植物的光合作用、形态发生和光化学反应发挥作用,并且是影响温室内植物生长发育的基本因素,因此,我们主要的研究目标是探究光强和几种光周期对于植物生长的影响。本研究测量了植物培养箱中多种不同光强和光周期的光环境对叶用莴苣(Lactuca sativaL.)生长和形态建成的影响。这里把光周期和光照水平对叶用莴苣的影响分为三个部分进行研究。第一部分：将三组叶用莴苣分别置于光强为150μmol m-2s-1,100μmol m-2s-1和75μmol m-2S-1光周期同为亮12小时暗12小时的三个不同光环境中。结果显示其对株高和茎粗的影响最为显著。最好的结果出现在光强150μmolm-2s-1光周期12小时亮／12小时暗这一处理组。三种光环境对VC含量以及C02浓度也均有影响,而对叶绿素含量显示出影响。第二部分：将两组叶用莴苣分别置于150μmolm-2s-1和100μmol m-2s-1光周期同为6小时亮6小时暗,交替变换：另一处理组光强为75pμmol m-2s-1光周期为24小时常亮。结果显示,形态参数,例如株高和茎粗,在处理为光强75μmol m-22s-1光周期24小时常亮时最大。与此同时,其生化指标,例如可溶性糖和蛋白质含量也均显著增大。叶绿素a,b和类胡萝卜素含量均未受光强显著地影响。呼吸作用速率和蒸腾作用速率均显著提高,但净光合作用速率没有显著变化。第三部分：将两组叶用莴苣置于光强为150μmol m-2s-1光周期分别为3小时亮3小时暗交替和1.5小时亮1.5小时暗交替的光环境中,另一处理组置于光强为112.5μmol m-2s-1光周期1小时亮0.5小时暗交替变换的光环境中。结果显示,这三种光环境对叶用莴苣叶绿素含量有显著影响。在这三种光环境下叶用莴苣的形态建成、光合作用速率的蒸腾作用速率均较高。未发现生化指标的VC含量,蛋白质含量和可溶性糖含量有显著变化。基于以上结果,认为光强150μmol m-2s-1光周期1.5小时亮1.5小时暗交替的光环境有利于叶用莴苣的生产。

The Influence of Zn<sup>2+</sup>Ions Substitution on the Microstructure and Transport Properties of Mn-Zn Nanoferrites

The effect of Zn2+ ions on the microstructure and electrical properties of Mn1-xZnxFe2O4 (0.0 ≤ x ≤ 0.5 in steps of 0.1) through a solid state reaction has been investigated. The structural properties have been investigated using X-ray diffraction (XRD) technique. The XRD analysis confirms that all samples are in a single-phase cubic spinel structure. The experimental lattice parameter (aexp) was decreased with increasing Zn2+ ions substitution due to the smaller ionic radius of zinc content. The crystallite size (t) of samples was estimated by Scherrer’s formula and found in the range (90 - 115 nm). Dc electrical resistivity and Seebeck voltage coefficients were measured as a function of temperature using the two probe methods. The temperature variation of resistivity exhibits two breaks, each break referring to a change in the activation energy. The Curie temperature estimated from dc resistivity measurement decreases with increasing Zn2+ ions. Seebeck voltage coefficient measurements reveal n-type conduction for all samples.
