In this work,hollow Fe_(2)O_(3)/Co_(3)O_(4)microcubes have been successfully synthesized through a hydrothermal method followed by an annealing process using metal-organic framework of Prussian blue as a soft *** morphologies,microstructures,surface area and element compositions have been carefully characterized by a series of ***,compared with that of pure Fe_(2)O_(3)and Co_(3)O_(4),the gas sensor based on the hollow microcubes exhibits enhanced sensing performances towards acetone,e.g.,a higher response of 21.2 and a shorter response time of 5 s towards 20 ppm acetone at a relatively low working temperature of 200℃.moreover,the hollow microcubes-based gas sensor still shows perfect long-term stability,excellent repeatability and the ability of sub-ppm level detection,which provides a possibility for its application in real *** enhanced gas sensing performances can be attributed to the hollow structure with a high surface area and the formed p-n heterojunctions within the microcubes.

Phenotypic plasticity enables plants to buffer against environmental stresses and match their phenotypes to local ***,consistent conclusive evidence for adaptive plasticity has only been obtained for a few *** studies on a wider variety of plant functional traits and environmental factors are still needed to further understand the adaptive significance of *** grew 21 genotypes of the stoloniferous clonal plant Duchesnea indica under different light and nutrient conditions,and used selection gradient analyses to test the adaptive value(benefits)of morphological and physiological plasticity responding to variation in light and nutrient *** grown in shade exhibited lower values for fitness measures(fruit number,ramet number and biomass),shortened thinner internode length and decreased adult leaf chlorophyll content,but higher petiole length,specific leaf area and old leaf chlorophyll content,than plants grown without *** grown in the low nutrient condition had shorter petiole length,thicker and smaller leaf area,lower chlorophyll content,but higher fruit number and root:shoot ratio than plants grown under the high nutrient *** gradient analyses revealed that plasticity of petiole length and old leaf chlorophyll content in response to light variation was adaptive,and plasticity of old and adult leaf chlorophyll content in response to nutrient variation was ***,the adaptive value of plasticity in different traits depends on the specific ecological *** findings contribute to understanding the adaptive significance of phenotypic plasticity of clonal plants in response to environmental variation.

AIM： To investigate the effect of posterior scleral reinforcement （PSR） on circulation of pathologic myopia eyes with posterior staphyloma by optical coherence tomography angiography （OCTA）.METHODS： The study included 30 pathologic myopia eyes with posterior staphyloma which underwent PSR （PSR group） for 6 to 18mo ago, and 30 age and myopia matched eyes without PSR surgery as control group. Macular, choriocapillaris and radial peripapillary capillary （RPC） flow density were measured by OCTA, and the measurements were compared between groups. RESULTS： OCTA found no significant differences in macular flow density between PSR and control groups. For the superficial flow, whole enface flow density （WED）, fovea density （FD）, and parafoveal density （PD） were 46.55%±5.19% vs 47.29%±4.12% （P=0.542）, 31.45%±6.35% vs 31.17%±4.48% （P=0.841）, and 48.82%±5.66% vs 49.21%±4.15% （P=0.756） in PSR and control groups, respectively. For the deep flow, WED, FD, and PD were 52.07%±5.78% vs 53.95%±4.62% （P=0.168）, 29.62%±6.55% vs 29.50%±6.38% （P=0.940）, and 56.93%±6.17% vs 58.15%±5.13% （P=0.407） in PSR and control groups, respectively. The choriocapillary flow density was 61.18±3.25% in PSR group vs 60.88%±2.56% in control group （P=0.692）. Also, OCTA found no significant differences in RPCs flow density between PSR and control groups. The optic disc WED, inside disc flow density and peripapillary flow density were 48.47%±4.77% vs 48.11%±4.57% （P=0.813）, 45.47%±11.44% vs 46.68%±9.02% （P=0.709）, 54.32%±5.29% vs 52.47%±6.62% （P=0.349） in PSR and control groups, ***： OCTA provides a non-invasive and quantitative approach for monitoring macular and papillary blood flow in pathologic myopia. PSR can not improve but may maintain the circulation of pathologic myopia eyes with posterior staphyloma.

Exposure to ionizing radiation,a physical treatment that inactivates live tumor cells,has been extensively applied to enhance the antitumor responses induced by cancer cell vaccines in both animal research and human clinical ***,the mechanisms by which irradiated cells function as immunogenic tumor vaccines and induce effective antitumor responses have not been fully ***,we demonstrate that oxidized mitochondrial DNA(mtDNA)and stimulator of interferon genes(STING)signaling play a key roles in the enhanced antitumor effect achieved with an irradiated tumor cell *** in ROS and oxidized mtDNA 8-OHG content could be induced in irradiated tumor *** mtDNA derived from irradiated tumor cells gained access to the cytosol of dendritic cells(DCs).Oxidized mtDNA,as a DAMP or adjuvant,activated the STING-TBK1-IRF3-IFN-β pathway in DCs,which subsequently cross-presented irradiated tumor cell-derived antigens to CD8^(+)T cells and elicited antitumor *** results of our study provide insight into the mechanism by which an irradiated cell vaccine mediates antitumor immunity,which may have implications for new strategies to improve the efficacy of irradiated vaccines.

The excitation wavelength-dependent and-independent emissions are two crucial fluorescent properties of carbon dots(CDs).However,CDs reported till date exhibit only one of these properties,which limits their practical ***,dual-property carbon dots(DCDs)with both the excitation wavelength-dependent and-independent emissions were synthesized via a facile onestep solvothermal method using 4-(2-pyridylazo)-resorcinol as the carbon *** multi-functional applications of the resulting DCDs were also *** asprepared DCDs exhibited not only excellent monodispersity,high photostability,and storage stability,but also low toxicity,good biocompatibility,and cellular bioimaging *** addition,the DCDs exhibited excitation-dependent emission photoluminescence under low excitation *** DCDs exhibited good Fe3+detection by quenching the blue emission fluorescence and showed a relatively low Fe3+detection limit of 0.067 lmol·L-1 based on three times signal-to-noise criteria(R2=0.99).Furthermore,the DCDs showed excitation-independent emission at low excitation wavelengths and exhibited red emission at about 598 nm to avoid damage to the *** results demonstrate the excellent bioimaging properties of the *** to their dual PL properties,the as-prepared DCDs exhibited multi-functional applications:Fe3+detection and A549 cell *** results will be helpful in developing novel CDs for applications in various fields.

A kind of inorganic-organic hybrid semiconductor composite nanoparticles： Dawson-type phosphomolybdate- doped polypyrrole （P2mo18-PPy） was designed and prepared using microemulsion oxidation-polymerization at room temperature and characterized by TEM and IR. The P2mo18-PPy was used as a bulk-modifier to fabricate a chemically modified carbon paste electrode（CPE） by direct mixing, which represents the example of polyoxometalates（ POMs）- doped semiconductor polymer nanoparticles modified electrode. Both the advantage of POMs-doped polymer and the surface-renewal property of the CPE were fully utilized. The electrochemical behavior of the P2mo18-PPY bulk-modified CPE（P2mo18-PPy-CPE） was investigated with cyclic voltammetry. Three couples of reversible redox peaks were observed in the range from ＋ 800 to 0 mV, which corresponded to the reduction and oxidation through two-, four- and six-electron processes, respectively. The P2 mo18-PPY-CPE showed a high electrocatalytic activity for the reduction of nitrite, which expanded the application of POMs-doped semiconductor polymer nanoparticles.

Sex pheromones,which consist of multiple components in specific ratios pro-mote intraspecific sexual communications of *** xylostella(L.)is a world-wide pest of cruciferous vegetables,the mating behavior of which is highly dependent on its olfactory *** trichoid sensilla on male antennae are the main olfactory sen-silla that can sense sex ***,the underlying mechanisms remain *** this study,3 sex pheromone components from sex pheromone gland secretions of P xy-lostella female adults were identified as Z11-16:Ald,Z11-16:Ac,and Z11-16:0H in a ratio of 9.4:100:17 using gas chromatography-mass spectrometry and gas chromatography with electroantennographic *** responses of 581 and 385 long trichoid sensilla of male adults and female adults,respectively,to the 3 components were measured by single sensillum *** clustering analysis showed that the long trichoid sensilla were of 6 different *** the male antennae,52.32%,5.51%,and 1.89%of the sensilla responded to Z11-16:Ald,Z11-16:Ac,and Z11-16:0H,which are named as A type,B type,and C type sensilla,respectively;2.93%named as D type sen-silla responded to both Z11-16:Ald and Z11-16:Ac,and 0.34%named as E type sensilla were sensitive to both Z11-16:Ald and Z11-16:*** the female antennae,only 7.53%of long trichoid sensilla responded to the sex pheromone components,A type sensilla were 3.64%,B type and C type sensilla were both 0.52%,D type sensilla were 1.30%,and 1.56%of the sensilla responded to all 3 components,which were named as F type *** responding long trichoid sensilla were located from the base to the terminal of the male antennae and from the base to the middle of the female *** pheromone mixture(Z11-16:Ald:Z11-16:Ac:Z11-16:0H=9.4:100:17)had a weakly repellent effect on female adults of P *** results lay the foundation for further studies on sex pheromone communications in ***.
