A tunable optical delay line(ODL) featuring high switching speed and low optical loss is highly desirable in many fields. here, based on the thin-film lithium niobate platform, we demonstrate a digitally tunable on-chip ODL that includes five Mach–Zehnder interferometer optical switches, four flip-chip photodetectors, and four delayline waveguides. The proposed optical switches can achieve a switching speed of 13 ns and an extinction ratio of34.9 dB. Using a modified Euler-bend-based spiral structure, the proposed delay-line waveguide can simultaneously achieve a small footprint and low optical propagation loss. The proposed ODL can provide a maximum delay time of 150 ps with a resolution of 10 ps and feature a maximum insertion loss of 3.4 dB.

As an important means of mobilizing demand-side resources,peer-to-peer(P2P)energy trading has drawn more and more attention from *** paper constructs a P2P energy trading framework considering prosumers’trading partner preferences(TPPs)and system *** first,we build the P2P trading models of prosumers equipped with different distributed energy resources(DERs),and TPP ***,to solve the established energy trading problem,a fully distributed double-consensus alternating direction method of multipliers(DC-ADMM)is proposed,which can achieve transaction consensus when considering market players’***,a risk-based security constrained economic dispatch(RBSCED)model based on AC power flow is established for the first time,by which a distribution system operator(DSO)checks system security and obtains risk-based locational marginal prices(RLMPs).Moreover,double-regulated price signals related to RLMPs which contain grid utilization prices(GUPs)and DSO’s retail prices realize management of players’*** the end,the proposed method is applied to an IEEE33 bus distribution *** show the proposed method effectively reduces system risk and ensures secure operation of system without direct management.

Integrated traveling-wave lithium niobate modulators need relatively large device lengths to achieve low drive voltage. To increase modulation efficiency within a compact footprint, we report an integrated Fabry–Perot-type electro-optic thin film lithium niobate on insulator modulator comprising a phase modulation region sandwiched between two distributed Bragg reflectors. The device exhibits low optical loss and a high tuning efficiency of 15.7 pm/V. We also confirm the modulator's high-speed modulation performance by non-return-to-zero modulation with a data rate up to 56 Gbit/s.

High-speed polarization management is highly desirable for many applications,such as remote sensing,telecommunication,and medical ***,most of the approaches for polarization management rely on bulky optical components that are slow to respond,cumbersome to use,and sometimes with high drive ***,we overcome these limitations by harnessing photonic integrated circuits based on thin-film lithium niobate *** successfully realize a portfolio of thin-film lithium niobate devices for essential polarization management functionalities,including arbitrary polarization generation,fast polarization measurement,polarization scrambling,and automatic polarization *** present devices feature ultra-fast control speeds,low drive voltages,low optical losses and compact *** these devices,we achieve high fidelity polarization generation with a polarization extinction ratio up to 41.9 dB and fast polarization scrambling with a scrambling rate up to 65 Mrad s−1,both of which are best results in integrated *** also demonstrate the endless polarization state tracking operation in our *** demonstrated devices unlock a drastically new level of performance and scales in polarization management devices,leading to a paradigm shift in polarization management.

Optical modulators have been and will continue to be essential devices for energy-and cost-efficient optical communication *** silicon and lithium niobate modulators have demonstrated promising performances of low optical loss,low drive voltage,and large modulation ***,DC bias drift is a major drawback of optical modulators using lithium niobate as the active electro-optic ***,we demonstrate high-speed and bias-drift-free Mach–Zehnder modulators based on the heterogeneous silicon and lithium niobate *** devices combine stable thermo-optic DC biases in silicon and ultra-fast electro-optic modulation in lithium niobate,and exhibit a low insertion loss of 1.8 d B,a low half-wave voltage of 3 V,an electro-optic modulation bandwidth of at least 70 GHz,and modulation data rates up to 128 Gb/s.

As a safe and convenient imaging technology in clinical routine diagnosis, ultrasound imaging can provide real-time 2D images of internal tissues and organs. To realize real-time 3D image reconstruction, pixel nearest neighbor interpolation(PNN) reconstruction algorithm and Bezier interpolation algorithm are combined into a hybrid reconstruction algorithm. On this basis, a real-time interactive 3D ultrasound imaging system is *** temporal calibration and spatial calibration, the six degrees of freedom poses of 2D ultrasound images can be accurately collected. The 3D volume reconstructed by the proposed 3D reconstruction algorithm is visualized by volume rendering. A multi-thread software system allows parallel operation of data acquisition, 3D reconstruction,volume visualization and other functions. 3D imaging experiments on a 3D printing femur model, a neck phantom and the neck of human volunteers were performed for systematic evaluation. When the reconstruction voxel size was set to be(0.53 mm3, 1.03 mm3, 1.53 mm3), the reconstruction errors of the femur and trachea model were respectively(0.23 mm, 0.31 mm, 0.56 mm) and(0.62 mm, 0.88 mm, 1.41 mm). Clinical feasibility was demonstrated by application of the 3D ultrasound imaging on the neck of human volunteers.

Bottleneck stage and reentrance often exist in real-life manufacturing processes;however,the previous research rarely addresses these two processing conditions in a scheduling *** this study,a reentrant hybrid flow shop scheduling problem(RHFSP)with a bottleneck stage is considered,and an elite-class teaching-learning-based optimization(ETLBO)algorithm is proposed to minimize maximum completion *** produce high-quality solutions,teachers are divided into formal ones and substitute ones,and multiple classes are *** teacher phase is composed of teacher competition and teacher *** learner phase is replaced with a reinforcement search of the elite *** adjustment on teachers and classes is established based on class quality,which is determined by the number of elite solutions in *** experimental results demonstrate the effectiveness of new strategies,and ETLBO has a significant advantage in solving the considered RHFSP.

Silicon monoxide(SiO)is widely recognized as a promising anode material for next-generation lithium-ion *** to its metastable amorphous structure,SiO exhibits a highly complex degree of crystallization at the microscopic level,which significantly influences its electrochemical *** a consequence,accurately regulating the crystallization of SiO,and further establishing the relationship between crystallinity and electrochemical performance are very critical for SiO *** this article,carbon-coated SiO materials with different crystallinity degrees were synthesized using lithium hydroxide monohydrate(LiOH·H_(2)O)as a structural modifier to reveal this ***,moderate amount of LiOH·H_(2)O addition results in the forming of an oxygen-rich shell,which effectively inhibits the inward migration of oxygen atoms on the SiO surface and suppresses volume ***,the crystallinity of SiO will gradually enhance and the crystalline phase appears with increasing the amount of LiOH·H_(2)O,which will generate a deteriorative Li+diffusion *** balancing the above two contradictions,a mass fraction of 1%LiOH·H_(2)O for the additive yielded SiO@C-1,characterized by optimal ***@C-1 demonstrates exceptional long-cycle stability with 74.8%capacity retention after 500 cycles at 1 A·g^(-1).Furthermore,it achieves a capacity retention of 52.2%even at a high density of 5 A·g^(-1).This study first reveals the relationship between SiO crystallinity and electrochemical performance,which efficiently guides the design of high-performance SiO anodes.

Objective: Unresectable hepatocellular carcinoma(uHCC) continues to pose effective treatment options. The objective of this study was to assess the efficacy and safety of combining low-dose cyclophosphamide with lenvatinib, pembrolizumab and transarterial chemoembolization(TACE) for the treatment of ***: From February 2022 to November 2023, a total of 40 patients diagnosed with uHCC were enrolled in this small-dose, single-center, single-arm, prospective study. They received a combined treatment of low-dose cyclophosphamide with lenvatinib, pembrolizumab, and TACE. Study endpoints included progression-free survival(PFS), objective response rate(ORR), and safety assessment. Tumor response was assessed using the modified Response Evaluation Criteria in Solid Tumors(mRECIST), while survival analysis was conducted through KaplanMeier curve analysis for overall survival(OS) and PFS. Adverse events(AEs) were evaluated according to the National Cancer Institute Common Terminology Criteria for Adverse Events(version 5.0).Results: A total of 34 patients were included in the study. The median follow-up duration was 11.2 [95% confidence interval(95% CI), 5.3-14.6] months, and the median PFS(mPFS) was 15.5(95% CI, 5.4-NA) *** OS(mOS) was not attained during the study period. The ORR was 55.9%, and the disease control rate(DCR) was 70.6%. AEs were reported in 27(79.4%) patients. The most frequently reported AEs(with an incidence rate >10%) included abnormal liver function(52.9%), abdominal pain(44.1%), abdominal distension and constipation(29.4%), hypertension(20.6%), leukopenia(17.6%), constipation(17.6%), ascites(14.7%), and insomnia(14.7%). Abnormal liver function(14.7%) had the most common grade 3 or higher ***: A combination of low-dose cyclophosphamide with lenvatinib, pembrolizumab, and TACE is safe and effective for u HCC, showcasing a promising therapeutic strategy for managing uHCC.
