The first results of sorption experiments of U(VI), 2.4U(VI) and 2.8U(VI) onto original (unpurified) fracture-filling clays from No.1.monzonitic granite intrusion, Beishan area, Gansu Province, china are reported. The monzonitic granite intrusion is a potential location for a high-level radwaste (HLW) repository in china. The present experimental results show that the maximum U(VI) sorption reached 92. at near-neutral pH and the distribution coefficient (Kd) was 1.0}6 mL/g. A high sorption capacity of the fracture-filling clays in host rock on radioactive ele-ments is necessary for HLW deep geological disposal repository. No preferential sorption of 2.4U onto the clays was found. Finally, the sorption of U(VI) onto the clays was also modeled using a surface complexation model.

Aging biomarkers are a combination of biological parameters to(i)assess age-related changes,(ii)track the physiological aging process,and(iii)predict the transition into a pathological *** a broad spectrum of aging biomarkers has been developed,their potential uses and limitations remain poorly *** immediate goal of biomarkers is to help us answer the following three fundamental questions in aging research:How old are we?Why do we get old?And how can we age slower?This review aims to address this ***,we summarize our current knowledge of biomarkers developed for cellular,organ,and organismal levels of aging,comprising six pillars:physiological characteristics,medical imaging,histological features,cellular alterations,molecular changes,and secretory *** fulfill all these requisites,we propose that aging biomarkers should qualify for being specific,systemic,and clinically relevant.

With the Gravity Recovery and Climate Experiment {GRACE） mission as the prime example, an overview is given on the management and processing of Level IA data of a low-low satellite to satellite tracking mission. To illustrate the underlying principle and algorithm, a detailed study is made on the K-band ranging （KBR） assembly, which includes the measurement principles, modeling of noises, the generation of Level 1. data from that of Level 0 as well as Level IA to Level IB data processing.
