This.res.arch explores.s.rategies.to enhance the efficiency of s.condary treatment in Vertical Flow Cons.ructed Wetlands.(CW) in Montenegro. The focus.is.on s.lecting appropriate primary treatment methods.alongs.de three dis.inct s.bs.rate types.to improve was.ewater treatment efficacy. The s.udy examines.the combination of two primary treatments.with different s.bs.rate types.in cons.ructed wetlands.(CW1, CW2, and CW3). The primary treatments.include the exis.ing was.ewater treatment plant (WWTP) in Podgorica, involving coars. material removal through s.reens. inert material s.paration in aerated s.nd traps. and s.diment and s.s.ended matter removal in primary s.dimentation tanks. The Extreme s.parator (Exs.p) was.employed to evaluate its.efficacy as.a primary treatment method. The res.arch demons.rates.that the efficiency of CW can be s.gnificantly enhanced by s.lecting s.itable primary treatment methods.and s.bs.rates.in Podgorica’s.conditions. The mos. promis.ng res.lts.were achieved by combining Exs.p as.a primary treatment with s.condary treatment in CW-3. The removal efficiencies.after CW3 for COD, BOD, and Ts. exceeded 89%, 93%, and 91%, res.ectively. The outcomes.unders.ore the s.gnificance of primary treatment in mitigating pollutant loads.before dis.harge into the cons.ructed wetlands. emphas.zing potential areas.for further optimization in was.ewater treatment practices.to enhance environmental s.s.ainability and water quality management.

The res.lts.of s.udying inhibitory effect of s.reptomycin on the modified Berthelot reaction were pres.nted in this.paper and a new kinetic method for determining s.reptomycin in pharmaceutical preparations.and human urine was.developed on the bas.s.of the obtained res.lts. The rates.of catalytic and catalytic-inhibitory reaction were monitored at 700 nm （t=25 ±0.1 ℃） us.ng UV/vis.s.ectrophotometer. By analyzing the s.ectra and experimental dependences.of the catalytic and catalytic-inhibitory reaction rates.on the reactant concentrations. it was.noticed that s.reptomycin attacked nitroprus.ide and hypochlorite caus.ng the inhibition of the production of 2,2＇-dicarboxylindophenol. According to this.effect, an analytical decreas. for determination of urea by modified Berthelot reaction appeared in the pres.nce of s.all amounts.of s.reptomycin. Beer＇s.law was.obeyed in the interval of s.reptomycin s.lfate concentration from 18.2 to 182 μg·mL^-1. The detection limit calculated by two methods.was.obtained at 11.75 μg·mL^-1 and 8.54 μg·mL^-1. The relative s.andard deviation of 0.55%--8.83% and the recovery of 109.10% were determined. The obtained res.lts.were validated us.ng the referent HPLC method.

As.total life expectancy increas.s. the prevalence of age-related dis.as.s.s.ch as.diabetes.and Alzheimer's.dis.as. is.als. increas.ng. Many hypothes.s.about Alzheimer's.dis.as. have been developed, including cholinergic neuron damage, oxidative s.res., and inflammation. Acetylcholine is.a major neurotrans.itter in the brain and cholinergic deficits.leads.to cognitive dys.unction and decline. Recent s.udies.have linked diabetes.as.a ris. factor in developing Alzheimer's.dis.as. and other types.of dementia. The incidence of patients.with type II diabetes.and increas.d levels.and activity of α-amylas. is.higher in patients.with dementia. It has.been s.own that aromatherapy with es.ential oils.from the mint family can improve cognitive performance in Alzheimer's.dis.as. patients. s.lected monoterpenoids.from thes. es.ential oils.are reported to inhibit acetylcholines.eras., both in vitro and in vivo. Terpenoids.are s.all, fat-s.luble organic molecules.that can trans.er acros. nas.l mucos. if inhaled, or penetrate through the s.in after topical application, enter into the blood and cros. the blood-brain barrier. BACKGROUND The mos. common lys.s.mal s.orage dis.rder is.Gaucher dis.as. (GD). It is.a deficiency of lys.s.mal glucocerebros.das. (GBA) due to biallelic mutations.in the GBA gene, characterized by the depos.tion of glucocerebros.de in macrophage-monocyte s.s.em cells. The report targets.clinical phenotypes.of GD in order to correlate them with GBA gene mutations. as.well as.to identify GBA gene mutation in patients.in Montenegro that are diagnos.d with GD. CAs.s.s.MMARY Five patients.(4 male, 1 female) of type 1 GD (GD1) are reported. The age at diagnos.s.ranged from 7 to 40. Patients.experienced delays.of 1-12 years.in diagnos.s.after the original ons.t of s.mptoms. The mos. common mode of pres.ntation was.a variable degree of s.lenomegaly and thrombocytopenia, while other s.mptoms.included bone pain, hepatomegaly, abdominal pain and fatigue. Os.eopenia was.pres.nt in a majority of the patients. 4/5. All patients.were found to have an as.mptomatic Erlenmeyer flas. deformity of the dis.al femur. On enzyme replacement therapy (ERT), the hematological and vis.eral parameters.s.owed s.gnificant improvement, but no s.gnificant progres.ion in bone mineral dens.ty was.noticed. GBA gene s.quencing revealed homozygos.ty for the N370s.mutation in one patient. The genotypes.of the other patients.were N370s.55bp deletion, N370s.D409H (2 patients., and H255Q/N370s.(1 patient). CONCLUs.ON The phenotypes.of the GD1 encountered in Montenegro were s.vere but all res.onded well to ERT.

AIM： To es.imate the characteris.ics.of Color Doppler findings.and the res.lts.of hepatic radionuclide angiography （HRA） in s.condary Hodgkin＇s.hepatic lymphoma. METHODs. The res.arch included patients.with a diagnos.s.of Hodgkin＇s.lymphoma with metas.atic focal les.ons.in the liver and controls. Morphologic characteris.ics.of focal liver les.ons.and hemodynamic parameters.were examined by puls.d and Color Doppler in the portal, hepatic and s.lenic veins.were examined. Hepatic perfus.on index （HPI） es.imated by HRA was.calculated. was.obs.rved. Les.ons.were mos.ly hypoechoic and mixed, s.litary or multiple. s.me of the patients.pres.nted with dilated s.lenic veins.and hepatofugal blood flow. A puls. wave was.regis.ered in the centre and at the margins.of lymphoma. The average velocity of the puls. wave was.higher at the margins.（P 〉 0.05）. A continuous.venous.wave was.found only at the margins.of lymphoma. There was.no linear correlation between lymphoma s.ze and velocity of puls. and continuous.wave （r = 390, P 〈 0.01）. HPI was.s.gnificantly lower in patients.with lymphomas.than in controls.（P 〈 0.05）, pointing out increas.d arterial perfus.on in comparis.n to portal perfus.on. CONCLUs.ON： Color Doppler ultras.nography is.a s.ns.tive method for the detection of neovas.ularization in Hodgkin＇s.hepatic lymphoma and es.imation of its.intens.ty. Hepatic radionuclide angiography can additionally help in the as.es.ent of vas.ularis.tion of liver les.ons.

The aim of this.res.arch was.the determination of heavy metals. (iron, copper, zinc, manganes., cadmium, nickel and lead) contents.of white, red and black mulberry fruit grown in s.utheas. region of s.rbia, and their extracts. The content of all metals.was.confirmed in the fruits. All of tree types.of mulberry contained the highes. content of iron in the fruit and the lowes. content of Cd. The level of iron in all as.ayed fruits.s.ecies.was.ranged between 23.06-57.38 mg?100g?1. The concentration range of cadmium for the tes.ed fruits.was.found to be from 1.77 to 2.46 μg?100g?1 in fruit of Morus.nigra L. and Morus.alba L., res.ectively. The content of metals.in the fruit of white mulberry decreas.s.in the following order: Fe > Mn > Zn > Cu > Ni > Pb > Cd. The content of metals.in the fruit of red mulberry by decreas.ng the value is. Fe > Zn > Mn > Cu > Ni > Pb > Cd and in the fruit of black mulberry decreas.s.in the following order: Fe > Zn > Cu > Mn > Ni > Pb > Cd. In addition, an analys.s.of mulberries.extracts.s.owed a s.gnificant trans.er of heavy metals.during extraction procedure;therefore, the corres.onding extraction coefficients.reached values.up to 73.09%. Thos. were es.ecially high in the acetone-s.an lang='EN-Us.
