Mitigation of deane and Hamill phenomenon in gallium nitride high-voltage power supply for electric propulsion system application

The step-up resonant converters are widely adopted to provide high voltage in kV-level for electric propulsion system due to their high efficiency,low mass,modularisation,and high-power *** bipolar Cockcroft-Walton voltage multiplier(BiCWVM)is a major circuit that steps up the voltage in the resonant ***,the diode nonlinearity in BiCWVM can introduce self-sustained quasi-periodic oscillations in the voltage and current waveforms,which is commonly known as the deane and Hamill(DH)*** oscillation can lead to higher magnetic loss and control failure,and it is more likely to present in the gallium nitride-based converter due to the highfrequency *** authors aim to investigate and mitigate the DH phenomenon systematically so that proper mitigation can be *** facilitate the investigation,the circuit before the BiCWVM in the converter is derived and modelled as a voltage source v_(m)and a series inductor L_(sy).Also,the reverse recovery process of the diode in the BiCWVM can be represented by a piecewise-linear(PWL)model,with the simplified circuit and PWL model,the relationship between voltage and current under different operating conditions can be determined with *** relationship allows to understand the mechanism of diode reverse recovery in BiCWVM that leads to DH ***,a hybrid-/full-silicon carbide(SiC)design is proposed to mitigate the DH phenomenon,which is verified experimentally for a 300-kHz,5-W,20-V/1.5-kV GaN-based step-up resonant converter.

Effect of Hyperconjugation on Photovoltaic Performance in Pseduo-2D Perylene Diimide derivatives

Theπ-πinteraction is acknowledged as the predominant factor to determine the molecular packing in organic photovoltaic materials,while other non-covalent intermolecular interactions especially theσ-πhyperconjugation are often ***,a perylene diimide(PDI)derivative named FIDT-PDI is designed and synthesized to shed light into the effect of hyperconjugation on the molecular packing and further the photovoltaic *** NMR and 2D NOE NMR demonstrate the formation of intermolecularσ-πhyperconjugation between the C—H bond of the PDI moiety in one molecule and the phenyl sidechain in another molecule of *** from theσ-πhyperconjugation,FIDT-PDI with twisted backbone reversely exhibits more ordered packing and stronger crystallinity compared with another PDI derivative FIDTT-PDI which has better planarity,consequently achieving superior PCE and higher carrier *** contribution is the first paradigm to unravel the structure-property relationship betweenσ-πhyper-conjugation of conjugated materials and corresponding photovoltaic performance.

Beyond-5G(B5G)aims to meet the growing demands of mobile traffic and expand the communication *** that intelligent applications to B5G wireless communications will involve security issues regarding user data and operational data,this paper analyzes the maximum capacity of the multi-watermarking method for multimedia signal hiding as a means of alleviating the information security problem of *** multiwatermarking process employs spread transform dither *** the watermarking procedure,Gram-Schmidt orthogonalization is used to obtain the multiple spreading ***,multiple watermarks can be simultaneously embedded into the same position of a multimedia ***,the multiple watermarks can be extracted without affecting one another during the extraction *** analyze the effect of the size of the spreading vector on the unit maximum capacity,and consequently derive the theoretical relationship between the size of the spreading vector and the unit maximum capacity.A number of experiments are conducted to determine the optimal parameter values for maximum robustness on the premise of high capacity and good imperceptibility.

Shrimp(Penaeus vannamei)proteins have been shown an allergenic potential;however,little information is available on the sensitizing and eliciting capacity of shrimp protein digestion *** this study,a BALB/c mice model was used to explore the allergenicity of shrimp protein sample(SPS)and their gastric and gastrointestinal digestion products(GDS/GIDS).As compared with the SPS groups,the GDS/GIDS groups caused lower specific immunoglobulins(Ig E/Ig G1)levels(Pdex,mouse mast cell protease-1(m MCP-1)concentration and proportion of degranulated mast cells were significantly reduced in the GDS/GIDS groups(Plity and histopathological changes of tissues were ***,the allergenicity of digestion products cannot be eliminated and still cause systemic allergic reactions in *** study showed that the digestion products of shrimp still had high sensitizing and eliciting capacity.

The well-designed composite with satisfactory electromagnetic microwave absorption at high temperatures remains a serious ***,we fabricated a resorcinol-formaldehyde/silica dioxide composite aerogel(RF/SiO_(2))with a three-dimensional network structure using sol-gel,atmospheric pressure drying technique as well as heat-treated processes to achieve enhanced microwave absorption capabilities in the low frequency *** pristine RF/SiO_(2)aerogel presented a typical micropores structure with a surface area,porous volume,and density of 146.82 m^(2)/g,62.40%,and 0.28 cm^(3)/g,***,the RF/SiO_(2)aerogel showed an effective absorption bandwidth of 3.56 GHz and a minimum reflection loss value of-46.10 d B at 2.25 mm after being heat-treated at 1500°C,while the maximum effective absorption bandwidth was 3.60 GHz at 2.30 *** intricate three-dimensional networks possessed remarkable impedance matching,multiple attenuation mechanisms,interfacial polarization,and dielectric loss,which were attributed to the exceptional ability to absorb electromagnetic *** offered a fresh approach to creating adaptable and effective microwave absorption materials in military defense.

A data-driven model of drop size prediction based on artificial neural networks using small-scale data sets

An artificial neural network(ANN)method is introduced to predict drop size in two kinds of pulsed columns with small-scale data *** training,the deviation between calculate and experimental results are 3.8%and 9.3%,*** ANN model,the influence of interfacial tension and pulsation intensity on the droplet diameter has been *** size gradually increases with the increase of interfacial tension,and decreases with the increase of pulse *** can be seen that the accuracy of ANN model in predicting droplet size outside the training set range is reach the same level as the accuracy of correlation obtained based on experiments within this *** two kinds of columns,the drop size prediction deviations of ANN model are 9.6%and 18.5%and the deviations in correlations are 11%and 15%.
