＜正＞Alkyl glucoside 1 and phenylpropanoid glycosides 2, 3 and 4 were isolated from the Anise （Pimpinella anisum L.;Umbelliferae） which has been used as a popular aromatic herb to treat dyspepsy and catarrh of the respiratory tract, and also as a mild expectorant. The amount of these natural glucosides which could be only obtained by HPLC is very limited, and this prompted our interest to search a good synthetic method of these glucosides with a view to evaluating their biological properties.
