Correlation of preoperative inflammatory factors and emotional disorders with postoperative delirium in patients with craniocerebral trauma

Heterojunction structures improve the intrinsic activity of electrocatalysts by enhancing the charge transfer between the catalyst and the *** this paper,the NiS/FeS_(2)heterostructured electrocatalyst is fabricated by a simple sulfidation method using an interface engineering strategy to adjust the surface electron density of the *** expected,NiS/FeS_(2)electrocatalyst exhibits superior activity and durable oxygen evolution reaction(OER)stability,requiring only a low overpotential of 183 mV to achieve a current density of 10 mA·cm^(−2)and can be stable for more than 80 h,superior to NiS,FeS_(2)electrocatalyst individually,and precious RuO_(2).Notably,NiS/FeS_(2)is also a good bifunctional electrocatalyst with good overall water splitting performance,and it only requires a voltage 1.56 V to obtain a current density of 10 mA·cm^(−2)for more than 12 ***,the NiS/FeS_(2)hybridization facilitates the formation of coral-like structures,increasing the electrochemical surface area(ECSA)and enhancing the charge transfer efficiency,thus leading to excellent electrocatalytic *** work proposes a constructive strategy for designing efficient electrocatalysts based on interface engineering,and lays a foundation for designing a new class of electrocatalysts.

Selective hydrogenation of epoxides has been regarded as an atom-economical and straightforward method for the synthesis of ***,it remains a big challenge in the precise control of *** date,the reaction enabled by a reusable and high-performance heterogeneous catalyst with excellent regioselectivity is very ***,we develop highly loaded and ultrafine Pd nanoclusters(NCs)encapsulated on a phosphinebuilt-in porous organic cage(FPPOC)for the catalytic hydrogenation of epoxides by molecular *** from the unique characters of uniform dispersion and strong interaction between Pd NCs and FPPOC,the resultant Pd NCs exhibited superior catalytic activity and excellent regioselectivity for the hydrogenation of epoxides under milder conditions.A diverse set of terminal and internal epoxides was efficiently reduced to the corresponding linear or branched alcohols in an extremely regioselective manner,well tolerating diverse functional ***,the catalyst demonstrates high stability and could be reused up to 10 times with marginal decay in activity and ***,the catalyst is applicable for scale-up synthesis with a record turnover number as high as 16,111,to the best of our knowledge,outperforming those previous state-of-the-art *** experiments and characterizations in combination with density functional theory calculations provide insight into the superior activity and excellent regioselectivity.

All-fluorinated electrolyte for non-flammable batteries with ultra-high specific capacity at 4.7 V

Li metal batteries （LMBs） with Li Ni0.8Mn0.1Co0.1O2（NMC811） cathodes could release a specific energy of >500 Wh kg-1by increasing the charge ***,high-nickel cathodes working at high voltages accelerate degradations in bulk and at interfaces,thus significantly degrading the cycling lifespan and decreasing the specific ***,we rationally design an all-fluorinated electrolyte with addictive tri（2,2,2-trifluoroethyl） borate （TFEB）,based on 3,3,3-fluoroethylmethylcarbonate （FEMC） and fluoroethylene carbonate （FEC）,which enables stable cycling of high nickel cathode (Li Ni0.8Co0.1Mn0.1O2,NMC811) under a cut-off voltage of 4.7 V in Li metal *** electrolyte not only shows the fire-extinguishing properties,but also inhibits the transition metal dissolution,the gas production,side reactions on the cathode ***,the NMC811||Li cell demonstrates excellent performance by using limited Li and high-loading cathode,delivering a specific capacity>220 m A h g-1,an average Coulombic efficiency >99.6% and capacity retention >99.7% over 100 cycles.

Predictors of Adverse Pregnancy Outcomes Following Traumatic Injuries

Objective After traumatic injury in pregnant women,providing timely and appropriate management for high-risk patients is crucial for both pregnant women and *** study aimed to identify risk factors that predict adverse pregnancy outcomes after traumatic *** A retrospective cohort study including 317 pregnant patients who experienced trauma was *** collected data included general demographics,injury mechanisms and adverse pregnancy *** were divided into two subgroups based on the absence or presence of trauma-related adverse pregnancy *** and multivariate logistic regressions were conducted to estimate the associations between clinical variables and adverse pregnancy *** A total of 41(12.93%)patients experienced adverse pregnancy outcomes within the first 24 h *** study revealed that age>35 years(OR=14.995,95%CI:5.024–44.755,P<0.001),third trimester trauma(OR=3.878,95%CI:1.343–11.204,P=0.012),abdominal pain(OR=3.032,95%CI:1.221–7.527,P=0.017),vaginal bleeding(OR=3.226,95%CI:1.093–9.523,P=0.034),positive scan in focused assessment with sonography for trauma(FAST)positive(OR=8.496,95%CI:2.825–25.555,P<0.001),9≤injury severity score(ISS)<16(OR=3.039,95%CI:1.046–8.835,P=0.041)and ISS≥16(OR=5.553,95%CI:1.387–22.225,P=0.015)increased the probability of posttraumatic adverse pregnancy *** age,gestational age at delivery,vaginal bleeding and positive FAST results were risk factors for abnormal *** Advanced maternal age,third trimester,and positive FAST results should alert multidisciplinary trauma teams to closely monitor patients to prevent adverse pregnancy outcomes.

Amyloid beta(Aβ)monomers aggregate to form fibrils and amyloid plaques,which are critical mechanisms in the pathogenesis of Alzheimer’s disease(AD).Given the important role of Aβ1-42 aggregation in plaque formation,leading to brain lesions and cognitive impairment,numerous studies have aimed to reduce Aβaggregation and slow AD *** diphenylalanine(FF)sequence is critical for amyloid aggregation,and magnetic fields can affect peptide alignment due to the diamagnetic anisotropy of aromatic *** this study,we examined the effects of a moderate-intensity rotating magnetic field(RMF)on Aβaggregation and AD *** indicated that the RMF directly inhibited Aβamyloid fibril formation and reduced Aβ-induced cytotoxicity in neural cells in *** the AD mouse model APP/PS1,RMF restored motor abilities to healthy control levels and significantly alleviated cognitive impairments,including exploration and spatial and non-spatial memory *** examinations demonstrated that RMF reduced amyloid plaque accumulation,attenuated microglial activation,and reduced oxidative stress in the APP/PS1 mouse *** findings suggest that RMF holds considerable potential as a non-invasive,high-penetration physical approach for AD treatment.
