Analysis on the causes of massive stranding of Yellow Sea green tide on Lianyungang and Rizhao coasts in 2022

In 2022,Yellow Sea green tide caused by Ulva prolifera reached a historic minimum and the coastal areas of Shandong Peninsula were less affected.However,the largest amount of seaweed biomass has been washed ashore on Lianyungang and Rizhao coasts since 2015.We studied the development pattern of Yellow Sea green tide in 2022,and analyzed the key environmental factors on the growth and drifting,then discussed the possible reasons that resulted in the massive stranding of green tide biomass in Lianyungang and Rizhao.Results show under the combined influence of the east to southeast winds and currents with shoreward anomalies,green tide drifted to the coastal waters between Shandong and Jiangsu provinces and the distribution areas located westward compared with previous years(2008–2021).Floating U.prolifera rafts from the coastal waters of Binhai and Sheyang drifted continuously into the coastal waters of Lianyungang and Rizhao,providing important supplements for Yellow Sea green tide.Because green tide in 2022 distributed close to the coastal waters,the abundant nutrients might support their continuous high growth rate.In addition,the amount of rainfall around Shandong Peninsula from late June to early July were significantly higher than in previous years,which might promote the development of green tide to some extent.

Invasive breast carcinoma(BRCA)is associated with poor prognosis and high risk of mortality.Therefore,it is critical to identify novel biomarkers for the prognostic assessment of BRCA.Methods:The expression data of polo-like kinase 1(PLK1)in BRCA and the corresponding clinical information were extracted from TCGA and GEO databases.PLK1 expression was validated in diverse breast cancer cell lines by quantitative real-time polymerase chain reaction(qRT-PCR)and western blotting.Single sample gene set enrichment analysis(ssGSEA)was performed to evaluate immune infiltration in the BRCA microenvironment,and the random forest(RF)and support vector machine(SVM)algorithms were used to screen for the hub infiltrating cells and calculate the immunophenoscore(IPS).The RF algorithm and COX regression model were applied to calculate survival risk scores based on the PLK1 expression and immune cell infiltration.Finally,a prognostic nomogram was constructed with the risk score and pathological stage,and its clinical potential was evaluated by plotting calibration charts and DCA curves.The application of the nomogram was further validated in an immunotherapy cohort.Results:PLK1 expression was significantly higher in the tumor samples in TCGA-BRCA cohort.Furthermore,PLK1 expression level,age and stage were identified as independent prognostic factors of BRCA.While the IPS was unaffected by PLK1 expression,the TMB and MATH scores were higher in the PLK1-high group,and the TIDE scores were higher for the PLK1-low patients.We also identified 6 immune cell types with high infiltration,along with 11 immune cell types with low infiltration in the PLK1-high tumors.A risk score was devised using PLK1 expression and hub immune cells,which predicted the prognosis of BRCA patients.In addition,a nomogram was constructed based on the risk score and pathological staging,and showed good predictive performance.Conclusions:PLK1 expression and immune cell infiltration can predict post-immunotherapy prognosis of BRCA patients.

Diet education can expand children’s life experience,cultivate good living habits,and develop their character,contributing to the construction of a healthy China.Developing diet education helps children improve their health awareness and enables them to form healthy eating behaviors and lifestyles,laying the foundation for their healthy growth and lifelong development.It is not just about disseminating nutrition knowledge but also involves the integration of health education,labor education,and family education through practical experiences.This study analyzes the importance of promoting diet education for children and proposes four promotion strategies that draw on families,schools,relevant departments,and social groups,as well as pilot projects.The application of these strategies will help enhance the effectiveness of diet education and enable children to form healthy eating habits and develop the basic ability to maintain their health.

Aquaculture has made an enormous contribution to the world food production,especially to the sustainable supply of animal proteins.The utility of diverse reproduction strategies in fish,such as the exploiting use of unisexual gynogenesis,has created a typical case of fish genetic breeding.A number of fish species show substantial sexual dimorphism that is closely linked to multiple economic traits including growth rate and body size,and the efficient development of sex-linked genetic markers and sex control biotechnologies has provided significant approaches to increase the production and value for commercial purposes.Along with the rapid development of genomics and molecular genetic techniques,the genetic basis of sexual dimorphism has been gradually deciphered,and great progress has been made in the mechanisms of fish sex determination and identification of sex-determining genes.This review summarizes the progress to provide some directive and objective thinking for further research in this field.

Broadband bidirectional Brillouin–Raman random fiber laser with ultra-narrow linewidth

We present a Brillouin–Raman random fiber laser(BRRFL)with full-open linear cavity structure to generate broadband Brillouin frequency comb(BFC)with double Brillouin-frequency-shift spacing.The incorporation of a regeneration portion consisting of an erbium-doped fiber and a single-mode fiber enables the generation of broadband BFC.The dynamics of broadband BFC generation changing with the pump power(EDF and Raman)and Brillouin pump(BP)wavelength are investigated in detail,respectively.Under suitable conditions,the bidirectional BRRFL proposed can produce a flatamplitude BFC with 40.7-nm bandwidth ranging from 1531 nm to 1571.7 nm,and built-in 242-order Brillouin Stokes lines(BSLs)with double Brillouin-frequency-shift spacing.Moreover,the linewidth of single BSL is experimentally measured to be about 2.5 kHz.The broadband bidirectional narrow-linewidth BRRFL has great potential applications in optical communication,optical sensing,spectral measurement,and so on.

目前,使用全球卫星导航系统反射测量技术进行形变监测存在未进行真实坡面实验、未分析卫星运动影响和未探究接收天线位置偏移对形变监测结果的影响等问题。针对实际公路边坡进行形变监测,分析了卫星运动和反射信号接收天线位置偏移两种因素对形变反演精度的影响,提出一种同时适用于中圆地球轨道(medium earth orbit,MEO)卫星运动和倾斜地球同步轨道(inclined geosynchronous orbit,IGSO)卫星微小位置偏差的校正方法。接收天线位置偏移情况下的形变监测实验结果表明,通过运动卫星校正,利用MEO卫星对28.0 cm和11.7 cm位移的形变反演误差分别低至1.97 cm和0.56 cm,相较于校正前误差分别减小3.03 cm和2.70 cm;通过接收天线位置偏移实验,得出当天线位置偏移镜面反射线分别处于垂直方向约±6°和水平方向约±5°范围内时,不会对形变估测与反演结果造成大的影响。

主宾易位句作为一种特殊句式,长期以来受到汉语学界的关注。文章在回溯梳理相关研究成果的基础上,从语义和语用两个维度,考察了主宾易位的语义制约特点及语用选择机制。结论认为:语义制约表现为对立性特征模糊化、动核的动作性弱化、语义指向的双向化。语用选择机制表现为主题和焦点的转换、语境的适应性、语篇的动态选择性的制约。主宾易位是语义和语用互动作用的结果,认知是语义和语用的关联纽带。在语义层面,句式中虽然存在多重语义关系,但是在人的认知域中最基础的语义关系具有固定性。在语用层面,言语交际中所表达的句式需要依据交际双方共有的背景知识语境和认知能力进行推理从而获得符合特定语境的语用解释。

针对仿生机器鱼水下作业时面临的水下图像质量偏低、水下自主定位难的问题,提出一种颜色均衡与G-B通道先验融合的水下图像增强式算法。将该算法和视觉同时定位与地图构建(SLAM)方法结合,实现了水下图像增强式的视觉三维重建。在不同水域环境下进行了水下图像处理实验、水下环境视觉三维重建实验和运动轨迹跟踪实验,结果表明该方法有效提高了水下图像综合质量,特征匹配效率提高了16.03%,真实轨迹与估计轨迹的误差平均约为7.99 mm。

Correlation between abdominal computed tomography signs and postoperative prognosis for patients with colorectal cancer

BACKGROUND Patients with different stages of colorectal cancer(CRC)exhibit different abdominal computed tomography(CT)signs.Therefore,the influence of CT signs on CRC prognosis must be determined.AIM To observe abdominal CT signs in patients with CRC and analyze the correlation between the CT signs and postoperative prognosis.METHODS The clinical history and CT imaging results of 88 patients with CRC who underwent radical surgery at Xingtan Hospital Affiliated to Shunde Hospital of Southern Medical University were retrospectively analyzed.Univariate and multivariate Cox regression analyses were used to explore the independent risk factors for postoperative death in patients with CRC.The three-year survival rate was analyzed using the Kaplan-meier curve,and the correlation between postoperative survival time and abdominal CT signs in patients with CRC was analyzed using Spearman correlation analysis.RESULTS For patients with CRC,the three-year survival rate was 73.86%.The death group exhibited more severe characteristics than the survival group.A multivariate Cox regression model analysis showed that body mass index(BMI),degree of periintestinal infiltration,tumor size,and lymph node CT value were independent factors influencing postoperative death(P<0.05 for all).Patients with characteristics typical to the death group had a low three-year survival rate(log-rankχ2=66.487,11.346,12.500,and 27.672,respectively,P<0.05 for all).The survival time of CRC patients was negatively correlated with BMI,degree of periintestinal infiltration,tumor size,lymph node CT value,mean tumor long-axis diameter,and mean tumor short-axis diameter(r=-0.559,0.679,-0.430,-0.585,-0.425,and-0.385,respectively,P<0.05 for all).BMI was positively correlated with the degree of periintestinal invasion,lymph node CT value,and mean tumor short-axis diameter(r=0.303,0.431,and 0.437,respectively,P<0.05 for all).CONCLUSION The degree of periintestinal infiltration,tumor size,and lymph node CT value are crucial for evaluating the prognosis of patients
