Generalized Lanchester warfare model characterized by information asymmetry effect

Combined with the fact that information asymmetry between two belligerent parties is very common in information-based warfare, the bidirectional influence of asymmetric information on both sides is analyzed. A new damage coefficient is formed based on the analysis, and a generalized Lanchester warfare model characterized by information asymmetry effect is built. According to the staggered transformation of information asymmetric degree resulting from the changing tactic of both sides by turns, a method for approximate solution of the model is presented by translating the information asymmetric degree as a ladder function, and both examples of the solving model and further discussion about the solution are given. The results indicate that the model can serve as a reference to analyze and forecast the course of war quantitatively. © 2017 Beijing Institute of Aerospace Information.

The key advantage of unmanned swarm operation is its autonomous cooperation. How to improve the proportion of cooperators is one of the key issues of autonomous collaboration in unmanned swarm operations. This work proposes a strategy dominance mechanism of autonomous collaboration in unmanned swarm within the framework of public goods game. It starts with the requirement analysis of autonomous collaboration in unmanned swarm;and an aspiration-driven multiplayer evolutionary game model is established based on the requirement. Then the average abundance function and strategy dominance condition of the model are constructed by theoretical derivation. Furthermore, the evolutionary mechanism of parameter adjustment in swarm cooperation is revealed via simulation,and the influences of the multiplication factor r, aspiration levelα, threshold m and other parameters on the strategy dominance conditions were simulated for both linear and threshold public goods games(PGGs) to determine the strategy dominance characteristics;Finally, deliberate proposals are suggested to provide a meaningful exploration in the actual control of unmanned swarm cooperation.

An experimental investigation on the properties of the near wake behind the rotor of a Horizontal-Axis Wind Turbine （HAWT） was carried out at model scale. Measurements were made with a stationary slanted hot-wire anemometer using the technique of phase-locked averaging. The primary aim is to study the formation and development of the three-dimensional wake. Five axial locations were chosen within four chord lengths of the blades over a range of tip speed ratios. The results show that during the downstream developmerit of the wake, the wake centre traces a helical curve with its rotation direction opposite to that of the rotor. The distribution of mean velocity behind the HAWT rotor reveals an expansion and a decay of the three-dimensional wake. The shapes of the mean velocity distribution are similar along the blades span at the same downstream axial location. It is shown that the turbulence levels in the wake are higher than those in the non-wake region. The circumferential component and the radial component of the turbulence intensity are higher than the axial component. Our study offers some food of thought for better understanding of the physical features of the flow field as well as the performance of HAWT.

Molten salt pebble bed reactor is one of the sixth-generation Ⅳ reactor types. To investigate the mechanical behavior of the fuel pebbles in the core, a visualization experiment facility of pebble bed(VEFPB) is designed. To obtain a uniform flow field of the core and analyze the influence of the flow field on the structure of the pebble bed, computational fluid dynamics software Fluent is used to simulate the flow field distribution of the core of VEFPB. The simulation results show that the disturbance at the bottom of the pebble bed is proportional to the flow velocity of the inlet pipe, and the flow velocity close to the inlet side is more significant than that in other parts; the design of the cylinder bottom plate with holes of different sizes can effectively reduce the flow velocity and the disturbance at the bottom of the pebble bed. In addition,according to the velocity contours of the core of VEFPB, it is observed that the flow field distribution of the core is considerably uniform except at the bottom of the pebble bed. This ensures the stability of the pebble bed and verifies the rationality of the design of VEFPB. This study provides the technical support and reference for the flow field analysis of the core of molten salt pebble bed reactor.

AIM: To investigate the effect of amniotic membrane transplantation (AMT) on the expressions of inflammatory-related, angiogenic-related and growth-related cytokines in rat corneas after chemical injury. METHODS: Alkali wounds were inflicted on the central corneas of rats by applying a round filter paper soaked in 1mol/L NaOH for 40 seconds. One week after alkali burn, 12 rats were randomly divided into 2 groups: the AMT group and the control group, and AMT was performed on the rats in the AMT group. Corneal opacity and neovascularization were observed by slit-lamp microscopy. The protein levels of interleukin (IL)-2, interferon (IFN)-gamma, IL-10 and transforming growth factor (TGF)-beta were determined by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay 2 weeks after AMT. The mRNA levels of matrix metalloproteinase-2 (MMP-2), vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF), epidermal growth factor (EGF) and basic fibroblast growth factor (bFGF) were evaluated by real-time quantitative PCR. RESULTS: In the AMT group, the corneal opacity was improved (P =0.011) and the area of corneal neovascularization was significantly decreased (P=0.005) compared with the control group. The amount of IL-2 and IFN-gamma secreted by Th1 cells were decreased after AMT, whereas the amount of IL-10 and TGF-beta secreted by Th2 cells were increased ( P <0.05). The level of MMP-2 was significantly down-regulated (P=0.013) at the nnRNA level in the AMT group, while the expression of EGF was significantly higher (P= 0.022) compared with the control. CONCLUSION: AMT may suppress corneal neovascularization after chemical injury by modulating the expressions of soluble factors.

The flower buds of Lonicera macranthoides(Shan Yin-Hua), represent an important traditional Chinese medicine and food ingredient. A phytochemical investigation of the 70% EtOH extract of the flower buds of L. macranthoides resulted in the isolation of 12 triterpenoids(1-12), including two new ursane-type nortriterpenes, 2α, 24-dihydroxy-23-nor-ursolic acid(1) and 2α, 4α-dihydroxy-23-nor-ursolic acid(2). Their structures were established by multiple spectroscopic methods and comparison with literature data. All isolated compounds were evaluated for their anti-inflammatory effects in LPS-activated RAW264.7 cells. Compounds 1 and 2 exhibited inhibitory effects on iNOS at the concentration of 30 μmol·L^(-1).
