Lithium-ion cell inconsistency analysis based on three-parameter weibull probability model

The inconsistency of lithium-ion cells degrades battery performance,lifetime and even *** complexity of the cell reaction mechanism causes an irregular asymmetrical distribution of various cell parameters,such as capacity and internal resistance,among *** this study,the Newman electrochemical model was used to simulate the 1 C discharge curves of 100 LiMn2 O4 pouch cells with parameter variations typically produced in manufacturing processes,and the three-parameter weibull probability model was used to analyze the dispersion and symmetry of the resulting discharge voltage *** results showed that the dispersion of the voltage distribution was related to the rate of decrease in the discharge voltage,and the symmetry was related to the change in the rate of voltage *** effect of the cells’capacity dominated the voltage distribution thermodynamically during discharge,and the phase transformation process significantly skewed the voltage *** effects of the ohmic drop and polarization voltage on the voltage distribution were primarily *** presence of current returned the right-skewed voltage distribution caused by phase transformation to a more symmetrical ***,the weibull parameters elucidated the electrochemical behavior during the discharge process,and this method can guide the prediction and control of cell inconsistency,as well as detection and control strategies for cell management systems.

Recently, polymers with aggregation-induced emission(AIE) effects have attracted significant attention due to their broad applications in luminescence sensors, stimuli responsive materials, electroluminescence devices, etc. In this review, we summarize recent advances concerning AIE polymers. Four types of AIE polymers including end-functionalized polymers, side-chain polymers, main-chain polymers, and other polymers according to the location of AIEgens, are described. Their synthetic preparation, optical property, AIE effects, and applications are also illustrated in this review.

Facile synthesis of C_(3)N_(4)-supported metal catalysts for efficient CO_(2) photoreduction

Facile synthesis of photocatalysts with highly dispersed metal centers is a high-priority target yet still a significant *** this work,a series of Co-C_(3)N_(4) photocatalysts with different Co contents atomically dispersed on g-CaN4 have been prepared via one-step thermal treatment of cobalt-based metal-organic frameworks(MOFs)and urea in the *** to the highly dispersed and rich exposed Co sites,as well as good charge separation efficiency and abundant mesopores,the optimal 25-Co-C_(3)N_(4),in the absence of noble metal catalysts/sensitizers,exhibits excellent performance for photocatalytic C0_(2) reduction to CO under *** irradiation,with a high CO evolution rate of 394.4μmol·g^(-1)·h^(-1),over 80 times higher than that of pure g-C_(3)N_(4)(4.9μmol·g^(-1)·h^(-1)).In:addition,by this facile synthesis strategy,the atomically dispersed Fe and Mn anchoring on g-C_(3)N_(4)(Fe-C_(3)N_(4) and Mn-C_(3)N_(4))have been also obtained,indicating the reliability and universality of this strategy in synthesizing photocatalysts with highly dispersed metal *** work paves a new way to develop cost-effective photocatalysts for photocatalytic C0_(2) reduction.

Heterogeneity Analysis of Cucumber Canopy in the Solar Greenhouse

Detailed analysis of canopy structural heterogeneity is an essential step in conducting parameters for a canopy structural model. This paper aims to analyze the structural heterogeneity of a cucumber （Cucumis sativus L.） canopy by means of analyzing leaf distribution in a greenhouse environment with natural sunlight and also to assess the effect of structural canopy heterogeneity on light interception and photosynthesis. Two experiments and four measurements were carried out in autumn 2011 and spring 2012. A static virtual three-dimensional （3D） canopy structure was reconstructed using a 3D digitizing method. The diurnal variation of photosynthesis rate was measured using CIRAS-2 photosynthesis system. The results showed that, leaf azimuth as tested with the Rayleigh-test was homogeneous at vine tip over stage but turned heterogeneous at fruit harvest stage. After eliminating the inlfuence of the environment on the azimuth using the von Mises-Fisher method, the angle between two successive leaves was 144°;at the same time, a rule for the azimuth distribution in the canopy was established, stating that the azimuth distribution in cucumber followed a law which was positive spin and anti-spin. Leaf elevation angle of south-oriented leaves was on average 13.8° higher than that of north-oriented leaves. The horizontal distribution of light interception and photosynthesis differed signiifcantly between differently oriented leaves. East-and west-oriented leaves exhibited the highest photosynthetic rate. In conclusion, detailed analysis of canopy structural heterogeneity in this study indicated that leaf azimuth and elevation angle were heterogeneous in cucumber canopy and they should be explicitly described as they have a great impact both on light distribution and photosynthesis.

Association of obesity with Helicobacter pylori infection: A retrospective study

AIM To explore the association between Helicobacter pylori(H. pylori) infection and obesity/weight gain in a Chinese *** Our primary outcome was the change in body mass index(BMI). The generalized linear models were used to explore the association between H. pylori infection and the change of BMI, and the logistic regression models were used to explore the association between H. pylori infection and *** A total of 3039 subjects were recruited and analyzed, of which 12.8% were obese. The prevalence of H. pylori infection was 53.9%(1639/3039) overall and 54.6%(212/388) in the obese subjects. The change of BMI in the H. pylori(+) group was not significantly higher than that in the H. pylori(-) group after adjustment for potential confounding factors [RR = 0.988, 95%CI:0.924-1.057, P = 0.729]. The prevalence of obesity decreased 1.1% in the H. pylori(+) group and 0.5% in the H. pylori(-) group. The RR of H. pylori infection for obesity was 0.831(95%CI: 0.577-1.197, P = 0.321) after the *** H. pylori infection was not associated with overweight/obesity observed from the retrospective study in this Chinese population.

Tree logic, inherited from ambient logic, is introduced as the formal foundation of related programming language and type systems, In this paper, we introduce recursion into such logic system, which can describe the tree data more dearly and concisely. By making a distinction between proposition and predicate, a concise semantics interpretation for our modal logic is given. We also develop a model checking algorithm for the logic without △ operator. The correctness of the algorithm is shown. Such work can be seen as the basis of the semi-structured data processing language and more flexible type system.

Two novel V-shaped symmetric chromophores： E-2,8-bis（4-vinyl-4-carbazol-9-yl）diben- zothiophene （abbreviated as SK-G1） and E-2,8-bis（4-vinyl-4-triphenylamino） dibenzothiophene （abbreviated as ST-G1） have been synthesized and characterized. Their two photon absorption properties were measured by the open-aperture femtosecond Z-scan technique and the nanosecond nonlinear optical transmission （NLT）, respectively, when pumped by Ti： sapphire laser at 750 nm and 800 nm.

Background Asthma has been a global problem,especially in *** aim to evaluate the contemporary prevalence and influencing factors of asthma among children aged 3–7 years in Shanghai,*** A random sample of preschool children was included in this *** International Study of Asthma and Allergies in Childhood questionnaire was adopted to assess the childhood *** logistic regression models were used to evaluate the associations between independent variables and childhood *** Of 6389 preschool children who were invited to take part in this study,6163(response rate:96.5%)completed the questionnaire and were included in the *** overall prevalence of asthma was 14.6%which increased more than six folds from 2.1%in *** male,younger age,preterm delivery,being born in spring or autumn,being delivered by elective cesarean section without indication,miscarriage,high socioeconomic status,having allergy history,and exposure to passive smoking,latex paint,and dust were potential risk factors for childhood *** more time outdoors(>30 min/day),having indoor plants,and cleaning rooms more frequently were potential protective *** The prevalence of childhood asthma in Shanghai has increased dramatically during the past three *** findings about risk and protective factors of childhood asthma could be used to develop appropriate strategies to prevent and control childhood asthma in Shanghai and in other similar metropolitan cities.

Synthesis of energetic coordination polymers based on 4-nitropyrazole by solid-melt crystallization in non-ionization condition

Based on the theory of crystallization,a solvent-free solid-liquid phase crystallization method called solid-melt crystallization was designed to prepare energetic coordination *** target compounds[Cu(NPyz)_(4)NO_(3)]·NO_(3)(ECPs-1)and Cu(NPyz)_(4)(ClO_(4))_(2)(ECCs-2)were prepared through programmed heating and cooling by using 4-nitropyrazole(NPyz),(Cu(NO_(3))_(2)·5H_(2)O and Cu(ClO_(4))_(2)·5H_(2)O) as raw *** addition,crystallization pre-experiments and annealing experiments also verified the feasibility of the *** structures were confirmed by IR,elemental analysis,single-crystal X-ray diffraction and powder X-ray *** physicochemical properties and sensitivity test results showed that ECCs-2 has better thermal stability(T_(d)=221℃),while ECPs-1 is less sensitive to mechanical stimuli(IS=12 J,FS=240 N).Calculations based on EXPLO5 and the Kamlet-Jacobs equation showed that ECCs-2 has more considerable detonation performance(P=25.2 GPa,D=7.5 km/s).In comparison,the more intuitive results from the HN test,flame test,thermal resistance test and lead plate explosion test revealed that ECCs-2 has an“acceptable”detonation *** laser detonation test also showed that ECCs-2 is a promising excellent laser detonation material(E=408 mJ,P=24 W,τ=17 ms).

Flight behavior of the sycamore lace bug, Corythucha ciliata, in relation to temperature, age, and sex

The flight capacity of different ages and sexes of the sycamore lace bug, Corythucha ciliata, was studied at different temperatures using a flight mill system. The results of regression analysis showed a significant effect of temperature on flight distance (P=0.0082). Temperature did not influence flight duration (P=0.212) or flight speed (P=0.175). The mean flight distance (1 024 m) and mean flight duration were the greatest at 25.2°C. The age of C. ciliata had a significant influence on flight distance (P=0.0005), flight duration (P=0.0005) and flight speed (P=0.026). The 12-d-old adult had the greatest flight distance (887 m), duration (3 875 s) and speed (0.22 m s^–1). Flight distances and flight duration of females were significantly longer than that of males. However, the male had significantly greater flight speed than the female. The insect appears to be capable of long distance flights. The understanding of the optimal age and temperature for the flight of this insect through this study provides a foundation for better management of the insect in China.
