Modern agricultural practices have posed a detrimental impact on the environment due to their intensive use to meet the food demands of an ever-increasing *** this context,microalgal bioinoculants,specifically cyanobacteria and green microalgae,have emerged as sustainable options for agricultural practices to improve soil organic carbon,nutrient availability,microbial quality,and plant *** overview of current and future perspectives on the use of microalgal bioinoculants in agriculture practices is presented in this review,along with a discussion of their interactions with soil biotic and abiotic factors that affect soil fertility,plant health,and crop *** benefits of microalgal bioinoculants include releasing agronomically important metabolites(exopolymers and phytohormones)as well as solubilizing soil ***,they function as biocontrol agents against soil-borne pathogens and facilitate the establishment of rhizosphere communities of agricultural *** far,very few studies have explored the basic mechanisms by which microalgal bioinoculants interact with soil biotic and abiotic *** recent years,advanced molecular techniques have contributed to a better understanding of these interactions.

Objective:To explore the predictive value of neutrophil-to-lymphocyte ratio(NLR)in in-hospital mortality in sepsis ***:A prospective observational cross-sectional study was conducted on 100 patients with *** data about the patient’s demography,medical history,general examination including pulse rate,blood pressure,etc,use of vasopressor support,need for renal replacement therapy,mechanical ventilation,outcome,and lab parameters including total lymphocyte count with neutrophil-to-lymphocyte ratio were *** parameters between survivals and non-survivals were ***:Out of 100 patients,80%were from rural *** patients were 50 to 59 years old.26 Patients were *** patients in the nonsurvivor group were older and more had a history of diabetes mellitus when compared with the survivor *** non-survivor group had a higher NLR,APACHE栻,and SOFA ***:NLR is a readily available parameter and can be used as a good prognostic indicator for mortality in sepsis patients.

In this study we are reporting annealing induced optical properties of bismuth ferrite (BiFeO3) thin films deposited on glass substrate via spin coating at 5000 rpm. The structural, optical and surface morphology of BiFeO3 (BFO) thin films have been studied via X-ray diffraction (XRD), Fourier transform infrared (FT-IR), Optical absorption (UV-Vis) and Photoluminescence (PL) spectroscopy. XRD spectra confirm annealing induced phase formation of BiFeO3 possessing a rhombohedral R3c structure. The films are dense and without cracks, although the presence of porosity in BFO/glass was observed. Moreover, optical absorption spectra indicate annealing induced effect on the energy band structure in comparison to pristine BiFeO3. It is observed that annealing effect shows an intense shift in the UV-Vis spectra as diffuse absorption together with the variation in the optical band gap. The evaluated optical band gap values are approximately equal to the bulk band gap value of BiFeO3.

High Mountain Asia(HMA),recognized as a third pole,needs regular and intense studies as it is susceptible to climate *** accurate and high-resolution Digital Elevation Model(DEM)for this region enables us to analyze it in a 3D environment and understand its intricate role as the Water Tower of *** science teams of NASA realized an 8-m DEM using satellite stereo imagery for HMA,termed HMA 8-m *** this research,we assessed the vertical accuracy of HMA 8-m DEM using reference elevations from ICESat-2 geolocated photons at three test sites of varied topography and land *** were made from statistical quantifiers and elevation *** the world’s highest mountain,Mount Everest,and its surroundings,Root Mean Squared Error(RMSE)and Mean Absolute Error(MAE)resulted in 1.94 m and 1.66 m,respectively;however,a uniform positive bias observed in the elevation profiles indicates the seasonal snow cover change will dent the accurate estimation of the elevation in this sort of test *** second test site containing gentle slopes with forest patches has exhibited the Digital Surface Model(DSM)features with RMSE and MAE of 0.58 m and 0.52 m,*** third test site,situated in the Zanda County of the Qinghai-Tibet,is a relatively flat terrain bed,mostly bare earth with sudden river cuts,and has minimal errors with RMSE and MAE of 0.32 m and 0.29 m,respectively,and with a negligible ***,in one more test site,the feasibility of detecting the glacial lakes was tested,which resulted in exhibiting a flat surface over the surface of the lakes,indicating the potential of HMA 8-m DEM for deriving the hydrological *** results accrued in this investigation confirm that the HMA 8-m DEM has the best vertical accuracy and should be of high use for analyzing natural hazards and monitoring glacier surfaces.

It is increasingly apparent that the inclusion of mass transfer aspects,together with certain thermal conditions,in the momentum and energy equations governing MHD flows leads to a numbers of real life *** this in view,we have attempted an exact analysis of heat and mass transfer aspects in transient hydromagnetic free convective flow of an incompressible viscous fluid through a vertical pipe under an externally applied magnetic field,assuming presence of chemical reaction and heat source/*** governing PDEs,which simplify to a set of 3 linear ODEs in the physical set up considered here,have been solved using Laplace transform technique,with solutions for key physical variables presented in the term of Bessel and modified Bessel *** influence of governing non-dimensional parameters,namely,Hartmann number,Schmidt number,source/sink parameter,Prandtl number and chemical reaction parameter,has been illustrated on the developing velocity and some concentration *** important quantities of engineering interest-surface skin friction and volumetric flow rates-have been computed too and *** notable finding worth mentioning are:(a)heat source presence causes higher fluid velocity as compared to the heat sink;(b)all important surface shear stress can be suitably controlled,among others,by chemical reaction parameter and Schmidt *** key challenge of this study has been to obtain exact closed-form solutions of the field equations,including cumbersome Laplace *** study finds innovative applications in the emerging fields such as magnetic materials processing,chemical processes,solar energy systems,etc.

Face recognition systems have enhanced human-computer interactions in the last ten ***,the literature reveals that current techniques used for identifying or verifying faces are not immune to *** Component Analysis-Support Vector Machine(PCA-SVM)and Principal Component Analysis-Artificial Neural Network(PCA-ANN)are among the relatively recent and powerful face analysis *** to PCA-ANN,PCA-SVM has demonstrated generalization capabilities in many tasks,including the ability to recognize objects with small or large data *** from requiring a minimal number of parameters in face detection,PCA-SVM minimizes generalization errors and avoids overfitting problems better than ***-SVM,however,is ineffective and inefficient in detecting human faces in cases in which there is poor lighting,long hair,or items covering the subject’s *** study proposes a novel PCASVM-based model to overcome the recognition problem of PCA-ANN and enhance face *** experimental results indicate that the proposed model provides a better face recognition outcome than PCA-SVM.

Phosphorus Starvation Tolerance in Rice Through Combined Physiological,Biochemical,and Proteome Analyses

Phosphorus(P) deficiency limits the growth,development,and productivity of *** better understand the underlying mechanisms in P-deficiency tolerance and the role of Pup1 QTL in enhancing P use efficiency(PUE) for the development of P-efficient rice cultivars,a pair of contrasting rice genotypes(Pusa-44 and NIL-23) was applied to investigate the morpho-physio-biochemical and proteomic variation under P-starvation *** rice genotypes were grown hydroponically in a PusaRich medium with adequate P(16 mg/kg,+P) or without P(0 mg/kg,-P) for 30 d.P-starvation manifested a significant reductions in root and shoot biomass,shoot length,leaf area,total chlorophyll,and P,nitrogen and starch contents,as well as protein kinase *** stress increased root-to-shoot biomass ratio,root length,sucrose content,and acid phosphatase activity,particularly in the P-tolerant genotype(NIL-23).Comparative proteome analysis revealed several P metabolism-associated proteins(including OsCDPKs,OsMAPKs,OsCPKs,OsLecRK2,and OsSAPks) to be expressed in the shoot of NIL-23,indicating that multiple protein kinases were involved in P-starvation/deficiency ***,the up-regulated expression of OsrbcL,OsABCG32,OsSUS5,OsPoll-like B,and ClpC2 proteins in the shoot,and OsACA9,OsACA8,OsSPS2F,OsPP2C15,and OsBiP3 in the root of NIL-23,indicated their role in P-starvation stress control through the Pup1 QTL. Thus,our findings indicated that-P stress-responsive proteins,in conjunction with morpho-physio-biochemical modulations,improved PUE and made NIL-23 a P-deficiency tolerant genotype due to the introgression of the Pup1 QTL in the Pusa-44 background.
