Immunotherapy becomes a promising line of treatment for breast cancer(BC)however,its success rate is still ***:The study was designed to optimize the condition for producing an effective dendritic cell(DCs)based immunotherapy by using DCs and T lymphocytes together with tumor-inﬁltrating lymphocytes(TILs)and tumor-inﬁltrating DCs(TIDCs),treated with anti-PD1 and anti-CTLA4 monoclonal *** mixture of immune cells was co-cultured with autologous breast cancer cells(BCCs)isolated from 26 BC ***:There was a signiﬁcant upregulation of CD86 and CD83 on DCs(p=0.001 and 0.017,respectively),similarly upregulation of CD8,CD4 and CD103 on T cells(p=0.031,0.027,and 0.011,respectively).While there was a signiﬁcant downregulation of FOXP3 and combined ***8 expression on regulatory T cells(p=0.014 for both).Increased CD8/Foxp3 ratio(pmmed cell death ligand 1(PDL-1)were downregulated in BCCs(pmilarly cytotoxic T lymphocyte antigen-4(CTLA4,p=0.02),Programmed cell death 1(PD-1,pmmune cells(DCs,T cells,TIDCs,and TILs)with immune checkpoint inhibitors could produce a potent and effective BC ***,these data should be validated on an experimental animal model to be transferred to the clinical setting.

Novel CYP1B1 mutations and a possible prognostic use for surgical management of congenital glaucoma

AIm: To identify CYP1B1 gene mutations and evaluate their possible role as a prognostic factor for success rates in the surgical management of Egyptian congenital glaucoma ***: Totally 42 eyes of 29 primary congenital glaucoma patients were operated on with combined trabeculotomy/trabeculectomy with mitomycin-C and followed up at 1 d, 1 wk, 1, 6 and 12 mo postoperatively. Genomic DNA was extracted from peripheral blood leukocytes. Coding regions of CYP1B1 gene were amplified using 13 pairs of primers, screened for mutations using single-strand conformation polymorphism followed by sequencing of both strands. Efficacy of the operation was graded as either a success [maintaining intraocular pressure(IOP) less than 21 mm Hg with or without antiglaucoma medication], or a failure(IOP more than 21 mm Hg with topical antiglaucoma medications). RESULTS: Seven novel mutations out of a total of 15 different mutations were found in the CYP1B1 genes of 14 patients(48.2%). The presence of CYP1B1 gene mutations did not correlate with the failure of the surgery(P=0.156, odds ratio=3.611, 95%CI, 0.56 to 22.89); while the positive consanguinity strongly correlated with failure of the initial procedure(P=0.016, odds ratio=11.25, 95%CI, 1.57 to 80.30). However, the Kaplan-meier survival analysis revealed a significantly lower time of IOP control in the subgroup with mutations in CYP1B1 versus the congenital primary glaucoma group without mutations(log rank test, P=0.015).CONCLUSION: Seven new CYP1B1 mutations are identified in Egyptian patients. Patients harboring confirmed mutations suffered from early failure of the initial surgery. CYP1B1 mutations could be considered as a prognostic factor for surgery in primary congenital glaucoma.

Applying and Comparison of Chaotic-Based Permutation Algorithms for Audio Encryption

This research presents,and claries the application of two permutation algorithms,based on chaotic map systems,and applied to a le of speech *** are the Arnold cat map-based permutation algorithm,and the Baker’s chaotic map-based permutation *** algorithms are implemented on the same speech signal ***,both the premier and the encrypted le histograms are documented and *** speech signal amplitude values with time signals of the original le are recorded and plotted against the encrypted and decrypted ***,the original le is plotted against the encrypted le,using the spectrogram frequencies of speech signals with the signal *** permutation algorithms are used to shufe the positions of the speech les signals’values without any changes,to produce an encrypted speech le.A comparative analysis is introduced by using some of sundry statistical and experimental analyses for the procedures of encryption and decryption,e.g.,the time of both procedures,the encrypted audio signals histogram,the correlation coefcient between specimens in the premier and encrypted signals,a test of the Spectral Distortion(SD),and the Log-Likelihood Ratio(LLR)*** outcomes of the different experimental and comparative studies demonstrate that the two permutation algorithms(Baker and Arnold)are sufcient for providing an efcient and reliable voice signal encryption ***,the Arnold’s algorithm gives better results in most cases as compared to the results of Baker’s algorithm.

The effect of mn_(3)O_(4)addition on microhardness,microstructure and electrical properties of vanadium oxide doped zinc oxide varistor ceramics is systematically *** Vicker’s microhardness HV has decreased with increasing the amount of ***,the average grain size has decreased from 27.51μm to 19.55μm with increasing the amount of mn_(3)O_(4) up to 0.50 mol%,whereas an increase in mn_(3)O_(4) up to 0.75 mol%has caused the average grain size to increase and then it decreases with increasing mn_(3)O_(4)from 0.75 mol%to 1.00 mol%.The sintered density has decreased from 5.38 g/cm3 to 5.31 g/cm3 with increasing the amount of mn_(3)O_(4).The varistor ceramic modified with 0.50 mol%mn_(3)O_(4) has exhibited excellent nonlinear properties,with 16.29 for the nonlinear coefficient and 441.9μA/cm2 for the leakage current ***,the sample doped with 0.50 mol%mn_(3)O_(4) has been found to possess donor density as 0.77×10^(18) cm^(-3) and 0.916 eV barrier height.

Production of geopolymer composites enhanced by nano‐kaolin material

Nowadays kaolin raw material is usually used to produce nano-kaolin for geopolymer enhancement by using firing *** the present study,kaolin used was taken from the Naqus Formation(Cambro-Ordovician age),west of Gabal El Gunna,Sinai,***-kaolin material is an ultrafine material and was prepared from the taken kaolin by the firing process at 800 for 2℃h with a heating rate of 5/*** mixes were prepared and their laboratory specimens were made℃and cured up to 90 *** cooled slag was used as starting material,and sodium hydroxide and sodium silicate were used in the study as activators for the used *** formed geopolymer mixes with different ratios(1%,1.5%,3%,5%,and 7%)of nano-kaolin as a partial replacement for the raw kaolin were *** Ace super plasticizer was added in the ratio of 4%from the dry weight to ensure good dispersing of the used nano *** showed that increasing the percentage of nano-kaolin up to 3%results in an enhancement in the mechanical properties as compared with the control mix up to 90 days of curing,while higher ratios are not preferable where they lead to agglomeration of the added nano materials and matrix dilution.

maize response to elevated plant density combined with lowered N-fertilizer rate is genotype-dependent

Increasing plant density and improving N fertilizer rate along with the use of high density-tolerant genotypes would lead to maximizing maize(Zea mays L.) grain productivity per unit land area. The objective of this investigation was to match the functions of optimum plant density and adequate nitrogen fertilizer application to produce the highest possible yields per unit area with the greatest maize genotype efficiency. Six maize inbred lines differing in tolerance to low N and high density(D) [three tolerant(T); L-17, L-18, L-53,and three sensitive(S); L-29, L-54, L-55] were chosen for diallel crosses. Parents and crosses were evaluated in the 2012 and 2013 seasons under three plant densities: low(47,600),medium(71,400), and high(95,200) plants ha-1and three N fertilization rates: low(no N addition), medium(285 kg N ha-1) and high(570 kg N ha-1). The T × T crosses were superior to the S × S and T × S crosses under the low N–high D environment in most studied traits across seasons. The relationships between the nine environments and grain yield per hectare(GYPH) showed near-linear regression functions for inbreds L54, L29, and L55 and hybrids L18 × L53 and L18 × L55 with the highest GYPH at a density of47,600 plants ha-1and N rate of 570 kg N ha-1and a curvilinear relationship for inbreds L17, L18, and L53 and the rest of the hybrids with the highest GYPH at a density of95,200 plants ha-1combined with an N rate of 570 kg N ha-1. Cross L17 × L54 gave the highest grain yield in this study under both high N–high-D(19.9 t ha-1) and medium N–high-D environments(17.6 t ha-1).

Integrating Radar Altimeters and Optical Imagery Data for Estimating Water Volume Variations in Lakes and Reservoirs (Case Study: Lake Nasser)

monitoring of variations in water for lakes and reservoirs is a requirement for meeting human needs and assessing ongoing climatic changes. However, regular gauging networks fail to provide the information needed for water volume data. The aim of this study is to evaluate an approach to estimate water volume variation for the southern part of Lake Nasser in Egypt without in-situ gauge measurements and bathymetry maps. Combination of both Hydroweb satellite altimetry and Landsat 8 satellite imagery data was used. As compared to in-situ water levels, satellite altimetry provided accurate water levels variations for Lake Nasser;the RmSE was 0.28 m, with excellent agreement (R2 is 0.98). The lowest water level of altimetry database i.e. 174.57 m was used as a reference level for estimating water volumes variations for the study duration 8/2014-6/2015. All water altimetry levels were converted to differences of recorded water level above the lowest altimetry Level (ΔWL). Series of Landsat 8 imagery data were selected to extract surface areas corresponding to radar altimetry water levels dates. Areas-ΔWL relationship model was established as a polynomial function: A = f(ΔWL), and therefore, the relationship of the water volume above the lowest water level for the study time (ΔV) and ΔWL was obtained through the analytical integration of (Area-ΔWL) model. Another approach (Heron method) was also applied for estimating water volume variations. Validation of these two approaches showed that estimated water volume variations above reference water level using both methods i.e. integration and Heron agreed well with in-situ measurements of volume variation deduced from recent bathymetry map and in-situ water levels (R2 for both methods = 0.98). The RmSE for integration method is 323.89 mCm and for Heron method was 318.09 mCm, being approximately 13.2% of the mean volume variations above the lowest reference water level for mean surface area ≈
