The Experimental Study of Hyperoxygenated Solution on Acute Hemorrhagic Shock

Background: The aim of this study was to explore the impact of hyperoxygenated solution(HOS) on mean arterial pressure (MAP), blood viscosity, blood gas and related biochemical indicators during acute hemorrhagic shock in rabbits. Materials and Methods: Thirty three male rabbits were randomly divided into three groups: Ringer's solution group (RS Group), HOSI group and HOS2 group. Acute hemorrhagic shock models that 45 percent systemic blood volume was released from femoral artery within 5 min were prepared. At 60min after the shock, HOS 1 group and HOS2 group received 10 ml/Kg and 20 ml/Kg intravenous infusion of hyperoxygenated Ringer's solution, and RS group received 10ml / Kg intravenous infusion of Ringer's solution. MAP, blood viscosity, blood gas, blood lactate (BL) and malondialdehyde (mdA) content were recorded and determined in plasma before shock, shock 60 min, after the transfusion 30 and 60 min, and MAP was recorded after the transfusion 5 and 10min. Results: After shock MAP reduced from 12.69±0.78 kPa to 5.78±0.98 kPa, buffer excess (BE) reduced from 1.92±1.62 mmol / L to -9.91±4.92 mmol/L. BL content in plasma, BV, PV, AI showed a marked increase at Acute hemorrhagic shock 60 min. The blood pressure increased quickly in groups that RS was infusion, and then decreased significantly after 30 min, but the blood pressure in HOS1 and HOS2 groups dropped slowly than that of in RS group. Blood pressure in HOS2 group was significantly higher than that of in HOSI group. At 30 and 60 min after HOS infusion, buffer excess (BE), PaO2 and SaO2 in HOSI and HOS2 groups were significantly higher than those of in RS Group. BE and BL in HOS1, HOS2 these two groups had no significant difference, and content of BL were both lower than that of in RS group. PaO2, SaO2 in HOS2 group were significantly higher than those of in HOSI group. Grass pea(Lathyrus sativus L.)is an imperative food crop cultured in dryland agricultural *** is a vital source of dietary protein to millions of populaces living in low-income countries in South-East Asia and *** study highlights the improvement of genomic properties and their application in marker-trait relationships for 17 yield-related characters in 400 grass pea genotypes from China and *** characters were assessed via 56 polymorphic markers using general linear model(GLM)(P+G+Q)and mixed linear model(MLM)(P+G+Q+K)in the tassel software based on the linkage disequilibrium and population structure *** structure analysis showed two major groups and one admixed group in the *** significant loci pairs of linkage disequilibrium(LD)mean value(D′)was 0.479.A total of 99 and 61 marker-trait associations in GLM and MLM models allied to the 17 traits were accepted at a 5%level of *** these markers,21 markers were associated with more than one trait;12 marker-trait associations passed the Bonferroni correction *** models found six markers C41936,C39067,C34100,C47146,C47638,and C43047 significantly associated with days to maturity,flower color,plant height,and seed per pod were detected in the Hebei and Liaoyang location(p≤0.01),and the interpretation rate(R^(2)value)11.2%to 43.6%.Conferring to the consequences,the association analysis methodology may operative system for quantitative,qualitative,and biochemical traits related to gene position mapping and support breeders in improving novel approaches for advancing the grass pea quality.

Direct Stenting for Symptomatic Intracranial Stenosis: A Report of 155 Patients

Background and Purpose Annual stroke rates might be as high as 10% to 24% in patients with symptomatic intracranial stenosis in spite of best medical therapy. This was a single center, nonrandomized prospective study to evaluate the safety, feasibility and clinical efficacy of stenting for patients with symptomatic intracranial stenosis. Methods One hundred and fifty-five consecutive patients with 170 symptomatic intracranial stenoses of ≥50%, resulted in transient ischemic attacks or minor stroke, were enrolled from September 5, 2001 to August 12, 2004. Their age was 50.9 years±SD of 12.98, 132 patients were male and 150 had ≥1 risk factors of atherosclerosis. The “offending” lesions were situated at middle cerebral (n=93), intracranial internal carotid (n=19), basilar (n=29), intracranial vertebral (n=28) and posterior inferior cerebellar (n=1). Patients received neurological evaluation with National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) score before and immediately after procedure, and one-, three-, six-, and 12-month after the procedure. Disable stroke was defined as one that led to a modified Rankin scale (mRS) score of ≥2. 1. Results of the Periprocedural Period: Total of 177 balloon-expandable stents was used. Stent Success, defined as stent-assisted angioplasty successfully, resulting in ≤20% residual stenosis, was obtained in 157 lesions ( 92.4%, 157/170) and 142 patients ( 91.2%, 142/155). The stenosis rate of pre- and post -procedure for all patients was 78.2%±SD of 13.93 and 10.8%±SD 20.77, respectively The Procedure-related Complications were 11.8% for lesion (20/170) and 12.9% for patients (20/155), including 6 acute / subacute occlusions and 1 asymptomatic dissection, which all obtained complete patency by means of endovascular therapy at once without sequelae; 6 intracranial hemorrhage, 3 of them recovered (NIHSS at 30-day ≤pre-procedure’s) and one remained hemiparesis with 2 points on NIHSS score at the discharging time, and two died; 1 TIA , di

A Knowledge-enhanced Two-stage Generative Framework for Medical Dialogue Information Extraction

This paper focuses on term-status pair extraction from medical dialogues(md-TSPE),which is essential in diagnosis dia-logue systems and the automatic scribe of electronic medical records(EMRs).In the past few years,works on md-TSPE have attracted increasing research attention,especially after the remarkable progress made by generative ***,these generative methods output a whole sequence consisting of term-status pairs in one stage and ignore integrating prior knowledge,which demands a deeper un-derstanding to model the relationship between terms and infer the status of each *** paper presents a knowledge-enhanced two-stage generative framework(KTGF)to address the above *** task-specific prompts,we employ a single model to com-plete the md-TSPE through two phases in a unified generative form:We generate all terms the first and then generate the status of each generated *** this way,the relationship between terms can be learned more effectively from the sequence containing only terms in the first phase,and our designed knowledge-enhanced prompt in the second phase can leverage the category and status candidates of the generated term for status ***,our proposed special status"not mentioned"makes more terms available and en-riches the training data in the second phase,which is critical in the low-resource *** experiments on the Chunyu and CmdD datasets show that the proposed method achieves superior results compared to the state-of-the-art models in the full training and low-re-sourcesettings.
