The term hepatolithiasis describes the presence of biliary stones within the intrahepatic bile ducts,above the hilar confluence of the hepatic *** disease is more prevalent in Asia,mainly owing to socioeconomic and dietary factors,as well as the prevalence of biliary *** the last century,owing to migration,its global incidence has *** main pathophysiological mechanisms involve cholangitis,bile infection and biliary strictures,creating a self-sustaining cycle that perpetuates the disease,frequently characterised by recurrent episodes of bacterial infection referred to as syndrome of“recurrent pyogenic cholangitis”.Furthermore,long-standing hepatolithiasis is a known risk factor for development of intrahepatic *** classifications have aimed at providing useful insight of clinically relevant aspects and guidance for *** management of symptomatic patients and those with complications can be complex,and relies upon a multidisciplinary team of hepatologists,endoscopists,interventional radiologists and hepatobiliary surgeons,with the main goal being to offer relief from the clinical presentations and prevent the development of more serious *** comprehensive review provides insight on various aspects of hepatolithiasis,with a focus on epidemiology,new evidence on pathophysiology,most important clinical aspects,different classification systems and contemporary management.

Psychosocial interventions for infertile couples:A scoping review

Chaotic Aquila optimization Algorithm for Solving Phase Equilibrium Problems and Parameter Estimation of Semi-empirical Models

This research study aims to enhance the optimization performance of a newly emerged Aquila optimization algorithm by incorporating chaotic sequences rather than using uniformly generated Gaussian random *** work employs 25 different chaotic maps under the framework of Aquila *** considers the ten best chaotic variants for performance evaluation on multidimensional test functions composed of unimodal and multimodal problems,which have yet to be studied in past literature *** was found that Ikeda chaotic map enhanced Aquila optimization algorithm yields the best predictions and becomes the leading method in most of the *** test the effectivity of this chaotic variant on real-world optimization problems,it is employed on two constrained engineering design problems,and its effectiveness has been ***,phase equilibrium and semi-empirical parameter estimation problems have been solved by the proposed method,and respective solutions have been compared with those obtained from state-of-art *** is observed that CH01 can successfully cope with the restrictive nonlinearities and nonconvexities of parameter estimation and phase equilibrium problems,showing the capabilities of yielding minimum prediction error values of no more than 0.05 compared to the remaining algorithms utilized in the performance benchmarking process.

Tuning the optoelectronic properties for small organic compounds as organic solar cell applications

Recently, organic solar cells have attracted the attention of many researchers owing to flexibility, low cost, light weight and large-area applications, and significant improvement in the power conversion efficiency（PCE）. In this work, we designed chains from organic compounds as donors and replaced the core unit in each series with a variety of acceptors in order to enhance their optical and electronic characterization and performance for power conversion efficiencies in organic solar cells. We utilized density functional theory（DFT） and time-dependent density functional theory（TD-DFT） to investigate the geometry optimization by using the Gaussian 09 program. Both electronic and optical properties were determined, which involve the lowest unoccupied molecular orbital（LUMo） and the highest occupied molecular orbital（HoMo） levels, the band gap energy, maximum absorption wavelength(λ;max;), open circuit voltage(V;oc;), and light harvesting efficiency（LHE）. our evaluation denotes that the small compounds suggested are predicted to exhibit the best performance compared to the first series（SC1）, like a lower band gap energy, a lower HoMo energy level, a greater absorption range, and a larger PCE.

In this work,we have explored wormhole(WH)solutions in F(R,L_(m))gravity by assuming the Morris-Thorne WH metric and F(R,Lm)=R/2+(1+γR)L_(m),whereγis the free model *** determined the WH solutions by utilizing two newly developed shape functions(SF)that satisfy all basic conditions for a WH’s physical *** also observe that the null energy condition(NEC)behaves ***,for both models,we use the volume integral quantifier(VIQ)and Tolman-oppenheimer-Volkoff(ToV)equation to determine how much exotic matter is needed near the WH throat and the stability of the *** extensive detailed discussions of the matter components have been done via graphical *** obtained WH geometries meet the physically acceptable conditions for a stable wormhole.

In this editorial,we comment on the article entitled“Advances and key focus areas in gastric cancer immunotherapy:A comprehensive scientometric and clinical trial review(1999-2023),”which was published in the recent issue of the World Journal of *** focused on the results of the authors’bibliometric analysis concerning gastric cancer immunotherapy,which they analyzed in depth by compiling the relevant publications of the last 20 *** that,we briefly describe the most recent data concerning the epidemiological parameters of gastric cancer(GC)in different countries,attempting to give an interpretation based on the etiological factors involved in the etiopathogenesis of the *** then briefly discuss the conservative treatment(chemotherapy)of the various forms of this malignant *** describe the treatment of resectable tumors,locally advanced neoplasms,and unresectable(advanced)*** attention is given to modern therapeutic approaches with emphasis on immunotherapy,which seems to be the future of GC treatment,especially in combination with *** is also a thorough analysis of the results of the study under review in terms of the number of scientific publications,the countries in which the studies were conducted,the authors,and the scientific centers of origin,as well as the clinical studies in ***,an attempt is made to draw some conclusions and to point out possible future directions.

LiDAR-based estimation of bounding box coordinates using Gaussian process regression and particle swarm optimization

Camera-based object tracking systems in a given closed environment lack privacy and *** this study,light detection and ranging(LiDAR)was applied to track objects similar to the camera tracking in a closed environment,guaranteeing privacy and *** primary objective was to demonstrate the efficacy of the proposed technique through carefully designed experiments conducted using two *** Scenario I,the study illustrates the capability of the proposed technique to detect the locations of multiple objects positioned on a flat surface,achieved by analyzing LiDAR data collected from several locations within the closed *** II demonstrates the effectiveness of the proposed technique in detecting multiple objects using LiDAR data obtained from a single,fixed ***-time experiments are conducted with human subjects navigating predefined *** individuals move within an environment,while LiDAR,fixed at the center,dynamically tracks and identifies their locations at multiple *** demonstrate that a single,strategically positioned LiDAR can adeptly detect objects in motion around ***,this study provides a comparison of various regression techniques for predicting bounding box *** process regression(GPR),combined with particle swarm optimization(PSo)for prediction,achieves the lowest prediction mean square error of all the regression techniques examined at *** tuning of GPR using PSo significantly minimizes the regression *** of the experiment pave the way for its extension to various real-time applications such as crowd management in malls,surveillance systems,and various Internet of Things scenarios.

Photometric Studies of EV Cnc and AH Cnc in the open Cluster M67

Contact binaries at various stages of evolution unveil various operating mechanisms that drive *** report the photometric and period variation analysis of two contact binaries EV Cnc and AH Cnc in open cluster *** observed the cluster from the JCBT 1.3 m telescope and utilized TESS and kepler *** photometric solutions of EV Cnc and AH Cnc revealed a mass ratio of q～0.41 and～0.15 with an inclination of i=42°and87°*** solutions suggest that EV Cnc is probably a semi-detached and AH Cnc is a deep low-mass ratio contact *** study of o-C variation analysis indicates that for both systems,the period is increasing which suggests the mass transfer is occurring from secondary to *** the case of AH Cnc and based on simulations by randomly varying the time of minima to fit the LITE solution,we noted the third body orbital period to be around P3=26.82±2.54 yr,which is different from earlier reported values and conclude that future observations are required to confirm this *** compare these two systems with other similar contact binaries to get an estimate of the final configuration of the respective systems.

Inclusive quasielastic neutrino-nucleus scattering with energy density functional nuclear models

In this study,we calculated the inclusive charged-current neutrino-nucleus scattering from ^(40)Ar in the quasielastic *** explore the effect of uncertainties stemming from the nuclear structure,we used the kIDS(korea-IBS-Daegu-SkkU)nuclear energy density functional and Skyrme force models,namely SLy4,SkI3,and *** models were selected to have distinct behavior in terms of the density dependence of the symmetry energy and the effective mass of the *** the charged-current neutrino scattering,the single-and double-differential cross sections were calculated for various *** cross sections are reported as a function of the incident neutrino *** theoretical cross sections were compared with experimental data,and the roles of the effective mass and symmetry energy were investigated in terms of charged-current neutrino-nucleus scattering.
