Bi^(3+)-activated dual-wavelength emitting phosphors toward effective optical thermometry

Optical thermometry as an important local temperature-sensing technique,has received increasing attention in scientific and industrial areas.However,it is still a big challenge to develop luminescent materials with self-activated dual-wavelength emissions toward high-sensitivity optical thermometers.Herein,a novel ratiometric thermometric strategy of Bi^(3+)-activated dual-wavelength emission band was realized in the same lattice position with two local electronic states of La_(3)Sb_(1-x)Ta_xO_(7):Bi^(3+)(0≤x≤1.0)materials based on the different temperature-dependent emission behaviors,benefiting from the highlysensitive and regulable emission to the coordination environment of Bi^(3+).The structural and spectral results demonstrate that the emission tremendously shifted from green to blue with 68 nm and the intensity was enhanced 2.6 times.Especially,the visual dual-wavelength emitting from two emission centers was presented by increasing the Ta^(5+)substitution concentration to 20%or 25%,mainly originating from the two local electronic states around the Bi^(3+)emission center.Significantly,the dual-wavelength with different thermal-quenching performance provided high-temperature sensitivity and good discrimination signals for optical thermometry in the range between 303 and 493 K.The maximum relative sensitivity reached 2.64%/K(La_(3)Sb_(0.8)Ta_(0.2)O_(7):0.04Bi^(3+)@383 K)and 1.91%/K(La_(3)Sb_(0.75)Ta_(0.25)O_(7):0.04Bi^(3+)@388 K).This work reveals a rational design strategy of different local electronic states around the singledoping multiple emission centers towards practical applications,such as luminescence thermometry and white LED lighting.

Recently,poly(ethylene oxide)(PEO)-based solid polymer electrolytes have been attracting great attention,and efforts are currently underway to develop PEO-based composite electrolytes for next generation high performance all-solid-state lithium metal batteries.In this article,a novel sandwich structured solid-state PEO composite electrolyte is developed for high performance all-solid-state lithium metal batteries.The PEO-based composite electrolyte is fabricated by hot-pressing PEO,LiTFSI and Ti_(3)C_(2)T_(x) MXene nanosheets into glass fiber cloth(GFC).The as-prepared GFC@PEO-MXene electrolyte shows high mechanical properties,good electrochemical stability,and high lithium-ion migration number,which indicates an obvious synergistic effect from the microscale GFC and the nanoscale MXene.Such as,the GFC@PEO-1 wt%MXene electrolyte shows a high tensile strength of 43.43 MPa and an impressive Young's modulus of 496 MPa,which are increased by 1205%and 6048%over those of PEO.Meanwhile,the ionic conductivity of GFC@PEO-1 wt%MXene at 60℃ reaches 5.01×10^(-2) S m^(-1),which is increased by around 200%compared with that of GFC@PEO electrolyte.In addition,the Li/Li symmetric battery based on GFC@PEO-1 wt%MXene electrolyte shows an excellent cycling stability over 800 h(0.3 mA cm^(-2),0.3 mAh cm^(-2)),which is obviously longer than that based on PEO and GFC@PEO electrolytes due to the better compatibility of GFC@PEO-1 wt%MXene electrolyte with Li anode.Furthermore,the solid-state Li/LiFePO_(4) battery with GFC@PEO-1 wt%MXene as electrolyte demonstrates a high capacity of 110.2–166.1 mAh g^(-1) in a wide temperature range of 25–60C,and an excellent capacity retention rate.The developed sandwich structured GFC@PEO-1 wt%MXene electrolyte with the excellent overall performance is promising for next generation high performance all-solid-state lithium metal batteries.

To the Editor: Cholesterol crystal embolism (CCE) is a systemic disease caused by cholesterol crystal embolization leading to the occlusion of small arteries in a variety of organs. It may occur spontaneously, or more often, after intravascular procedures such as coronary angiography and carotid artery stenting, cardiovascular surgery such as coronary artery bypass grafting or aortic aneurysm surgery.[1] The kidneys were previously reported to be the most frequent target organ for CCE, and renal CCE was found during the course of clinical illness in approximately 50% of patients with CCE.

Effects of Perinatal Complications on Coagulation Function in Pregnant Women

Objectives:To investigate the effects of various complications on the coagulation function of perinatal women.Methods:A total of 210 pregnant women between November 2016 and June 2017 were recruited.The coagulation function indexes,including prothrombin time(PT),activated partial thromboplastin time(APTT),fibrinogen(FIB),and thrombin time(TT),were evaluated in pregnant women with group B Streptococcus(GBS),positive nonstress test(NST),scarred uterus,prenatal fever,macrosomia,gestational hypertension,gestational diabetes,premature rupture of membranes(PROMs),threatened abortion,and oligohydramnios.Results:No significant differences were found in PT,APTT,FIB,and TT in pregnant women with GBS,positive NST,scarred uterus,macrosomia,gestational hypertension,gestational diabetes,PROMs,and oligohydramnios.Moreover,significantly decreased PT and APTT and significantly increased TT were found in pregnant women with prenatal fever compared to normal controls,whereas significantly increased TT was also observed in those with threatened abortion.Conclusions:Among the complications that occur in pregnant women,prenatal fever and threatened abortion have important effects on coagulation function.

Hypoxia is a typical feature of the tumor microenvironment,one of the most critical factors affecting cell behavior and tumor progression.However,the lack of tumor models able to precisely emulate natural brain tumor tissue has impeded the study of the effects of hypoxia on the progression and growth of tumor cells.This study reports a three-dimensional(3D)brain tumor model obtained by encapsulating U87MG(U87)cells in a hydrogel containing type I collagen.It also documents the effect of various oxygen concentrations(1%,7%,and 21%)in the culture environment on U87 cell morphology,proliferation,viability,cell cycle,apoptosis rate,and migration.Finally,it compares two-dimensional(2D)and 3D cultures.For comparison purposes,cells cultured in flat culture dishes were used as the control(2D model).Cells cultured in the 3D model proliferated more slowly but had a higher apoptosis rate and proportion of cells in the resting phase(G0 phase)/gap I phase(G1 phase)than those cultured in the 2D model.Besides,the two models yielded significantly different cell morphologies.Finally,hypoxia(e.g.,1%O2)affected cell morphology,slowed cell growth,reduced cell viability,and increased the apoptosis rate in the 3D model.These results indicate that the constructed 3D model is effective for investigating the effects of biological and chemical factors on cell morphology and function,and can be more representative of the tumor microenvironment than 2D culture systems.The developed 3D glioblastoma tumor model is equally applicable to other studies in pharmacology and pathology.

BACKGROUND Thrombocytopenia 2,an autosomal dominant inherited disease characterized by moderate thrombocytopenia,predisposition to myeloid malignancies and normal platelet size and function,can be caused by 5’-untranslated region(UTR)point mutations in ankyrin repeat domain containing 26(ANKRD26).Runt related transcription factor 1(RUNX1)and friend leukemia integration 1(FLI1)have been identified as negative regulators of ANKRD26.However,the positive regulators of ANKRD26 are still unknown.AIM To prove the positive regulatory effect of GATA binding protein 2(GATA2)on ANKRD26 transcription.METHODS Human induced pluripotent stem cells derived from bone marrow(hiPSC-BM)INTRODUCTION Ankyrin repeat domain containing protein 26(ANKRD26)acts as a regulator of adipogenesis and is involved in the regulation of feeding behavior[1-3].The ANKRD26 gene is located on chromosome 10 and shares regions of homology with the primate-specific gene family POTE.According to the Human Protein Atlas database,the ANKRD26 protein is localized to the Golgi apparatus and vesicles,and its expression can be detected in nearly all human tissues[4].Moreover,UniProt annotation revealed that ANKRD26 is localized in the centrosome and contains coiled-coil domains formed by spectrin helices and ankyrin repeats[5,6].The most common disease related to ANKRD26 is thrombocytopenia 2(THC2),which is a rare autosomal dominant inherited disease characterized by lifelong mild-to-moderate thrombocytopenia and mild bleeding[7-9].Caused by the variants in the 5’-untranslated region(UTR)of ANKRD26,THC2 is defined by a decrease in the number of platelets in circulating blood and results in increased bleeding and decreased clotting ability[8,10].Due to the point mutations that occur in the 5’-UTR of ANKRD26,its negative transcription factors(TFs),Runt related transcription factor 1(RUNX1)and friend leukemia integration 1(FLI1),lose their repression effect[11].The persistent expression of ANKRD26 increases the activity of the mitogen activated protein kinase and e

目的探讨和研究多发性骨髓瘤并发侵袭性真菌感染的临床特征及常用真菌抗生素疗效。方法回顾性分析参与本次研究患者的基本资料,分析多发性骨髓瘤并发侵袭性真菌感染患者的发病率、感染部位、临床症状及病原学检出情况。对比分析米卡芬净治疗组与两性霉素B治疗组两组患者的治疗效果及不良反应发生率。结果2017年1月-2021年12月,518例多发性骨髓瘤患者中21例并发侵袭性真菌感染,主要为DS-Ⅲ期,IgG-λ型,拟诊14例,G实验阳性11例。多发性骨髓瘤并发侵袭性真菌感染的五年平均发病率为4.05%,2017-2021年发病率分别为2.11%、2.97%、5.62%、4.46%和4.96%,逐年递增,其中2019年发病率最高。21例并发侵袭性真菌感染患者,80.95%为单器官感染,主要为肺部感染。95.24%患者出现发热症状,不同部位侵袭性真菌感染患者,其临床症状不同。采集21例并发侵袭性真菌感染患者的分泌物标本,共分离菌株24株,主要为白色念珠菌和曲霉菌。不同标本的检出率不同,其中痰液标本的检出率最高,为71.43%。对比分析接受米卡芬净与两性霉素B治疗的患者情况,两组治疗效果无差异,两组不良反应发生率差异有统计学意义(P<0.05)。结论多发性骨髓瘤并发侵袭性真菌感染患者主要为IgG-λ型,五年平均发病率为4.05%,多发生于肺部,以白色念珠菌感染为主。米卡芬净与两性霉素B对多发性骨髓瘤并发侵袭性真菌感染的治疗有效率均高于70%,两性霉素B不良反应高于米卡芬净。

“促进民营经济的发展壮大”是党的二十大报告明确提出的重要论断。对发展壮大民营经济的实践逻辑、支持条件加以学理化分析,对于更好认识并发挥民营经济在社会主义市场经济中的功能和作用具有重要意义。本文认为发展壮大民营经济是社会主义初级阶段解放生产力、健全所有制结构、完善分配制度以及构建高水平社会主义市场经济的实践需要。民营经济发展壮大的全生命周期始终离不开来自社会的要素支持和制度支持。其中,民营经济由“扩张”迈向“深化”的阶段是其经营理念由短期转向长期,实现高质量发展的重要时期。此时,相较于早期的要素支持,制度支持对于民营经济发展壮大更为重要。本文据此从促进民营经济发展壮大的制度支持和构建良好的外部发展环境两方面,提出民营经济发展壮大的现实进路。
