Retrotransposons,a type of DNA fragment that can mobilize itself on genome,can generate genetic variations and develop for molecular markers based on the insertion *** finger proteins(ZNFs)are among the most abundant proteins in eukaryotic animals,and their functions are extraordinarily diverse and particularly important in gene *** the current study,bioinformatic prediction was performed to screen for retrotransposon insertion polymorphisms(RIPs)in six ZNF genes(ZNF2,ZNF3,ZNF7,ZNF8,ZNF10 and ZNF12).Six RIPs in these ZNFs,including one short interspersed nuclear element(SINE)RIP in intron 1 and one long interspersed nuclear element 1(L1)RIP in intron 3 of ZNF2,one SINE RIP in 5′flanking region and one SINE RIP in intron 2 of ZNF3,one SINE RIP in 3′UTR of ZNF7 and one L1 RIP in intron 2 of ZNF12,were discovered and their presence was confirmed by *** impact of the SINE RIP in the first intron of ZNF2,which is close to the core promoter of ZNF2,on the gene activity was investigated by dual-luciferase assay in three cell *** results showed that the SINE insertion in the intron 1 of ZNF2 repressed the core promoter activity extremely significantly(Pde a useful molecular marker for the screening of fat deposition in the pig breeding.

Study of the Transport Behavior of Multispherical Proppant in Intersecting Fracture Based on Discrete Element Method

To analyze the differences in the transport and distribution of different types of proppants and to address issues such as the short effective support of proppant and poor placement in hydraulically intersecting fractures,this study considered the combined impact of geological-engineering factors on *** reservoir production parameters and the discrete elementmethod,multispherical proppants were ***,a 3D fracture model,based on the specified conditions of the L block,employed coupled(Computational Fluid Dynamics)CFD-deM(Discrete ElementMethod)for joint simulations to quantitatively analyze the transport and placement patterns of multispherical proppants in intersecting *** indicate that turbulent kinetic energy is an intrinsic factor affecting proppant ***,the efficiency of placement and migration distance of low-sphericity quartz sand constructed by the deM in the main fracture are significantly reduced compared to spherical ceramic proppants,with a 27.7%decrease in the volume fraction of the fracture surface,subsequently affecting the placement concentration and damaging fracture *** to small-angle fractures,controlling artificial and natural fractures to expand at angles of 45°to 60°increases the effective support length by approximately 20.6%.During hydraulic fracturing of gas wells,ensuring the fracture support area and post-closure conductivity can be achieved by controlling the sphericity of proppants and adjusting the perforation direction to control the direction of artificial fractures.

Mitophagy in acute central nervous system injuries:regulatory mechanisms and therapeutic potentials

＜正＞ The transcription factor pituitary-1 （Pit-1, renamed as POU1F1） is a homeodomain-containing protein expressed mainly in the pituitary. POU1F1 stimulates the expression of growth hormone, prolactin, and thyroid-stimulating hormone genes. Therefore, it plays an important role in regulating animal growth and POU1F1 is also a good genetic marker for growth performance in livestock animals. The objective of the present study was to compare Mspl polymorphisms in the 3rd intron of the porcine POU1F1 gene among two meat-type pigs （Landrace and Duroc）, two fat-type pigs （Chinese Meishan and Jiangquhai）, and a miniature pig （Chinese Xiangzhu） by using the PCR-RFLP technique, and to determine the correlation between gene expression and growth performance in commercial pig population. A monomorphic fragment of 0.42 kb and two polymorphic fragments of 1.68 kb （C allele） and 0.85/0.83 kb （D allele） were observed. There was a significant difference in the genotypic and allelic frequencies at Mspl polymorphic restriction site among the five pig breeds （P＜0.01）. The frequency of allele C was highest in Jiangquhai （85%） and Meishan （90%）, intermediate in Xiangzhu （33%） and low in Landrace （2%） and Duroc （3%）. The general linear model analyses revealed that the pigs with genotype DD had higher 45-day, 70-day, and 180-day body weight （P＜0.05） and higher average daily gain （P＜0.01）.

The gravitational lensing wave effect generated by a microlensing field embedded in a lens galaxy is an inevitable phenomenon in strong lensed gravitational waves （SLGWs）.This effect presents both challenges and opportunities for the detection and application of ***,investigating this wave effect requires computing a complete diffraction integral over each microlens in the *** is extremely time-consuming due to the large number of microlenses （10～3-10～6）.Therefore,simply adding all the microlenses is ***,the complexity of the time delay surface makes the lens plane resolution a crucial factor in controlling numerical *** this paper,we propose a trapezoid approximation-based adaptive hierarchical tree algorithm to meet the challenges of calculation speed and *** find that this algorithm accelerates the calculation by four orders of magnitude compared to the simple adding method and is one order of magnitude faster than the fixed hierarchical tree algorithm proposed for electromagnetic *** importantly,our algorithm ensures controllable numerical errors,increasing confidence in the *** with our previous work （***.66,239511,2023）,this paper addresses all numerical issues,including integral convergence,precision,and computational time1).Finally,we conducted a population study on the microlensing wave effect of SLGWs using this algorithm and found that the microlensing wave effect cannot be ignored,especially for Type II SLGWs （from saddle position of the time delay surface） due to their intrinsic geometric structures and their typical intersection with a denser microlensing ***,more than 33%（11%） of SLGWs have a mismatch larger than 1%（3%） compared to the unlensed ***,we found that the mismatch between signal pairs in a doubly imaged GW is generally larger than 10-3,and 61%（25%） of signal pairs have a mismatch larger than 1%（3%）.Therefo

Thermal management system is highly desirable to guarantee the performance and thermal safety of lithium-ion batteries,but it reduces the energy density of battery modules and even is unable to provide highly effective ***,a thermal management function integrated material is presented based on high-temperature resistant aerogel and phase change material and is applied at both charge–discharge process and thermal runaway *** this sandwich structure Paraffin@SiC nanowire/Aerogel sheet （denoted as PA@SAS） system,SiC nanowires endow the middle aerogel sheet （SAS） a dual nano-network *** enhanced mechanical properties of SAS were studied by compressive tests and dynamic mechanical ***,the thermal conductivity of SAS at 600°C is only 0.042 W/（m K）.The surface phase change material layers facilitate temperature uniformity of batteries （surface temperature difference less than 1.82°C） through latent ***,a large-format battery module with four 58 Ah LiNi0.5Co0.2Mn0.3O2LIBs was ***@SAS successfully prevents thermal runaway propagation,yielding a temperature gap of 602°C through the 2 mm-thick cross ***@SAS also exhibits excellent performance in other safety issues such as temperature rise rate,flame heat flux,*** lightweight property and effective insulation performance achieves significant safety enhancement with mass and volume energy density reduction of only 0.79%and 5.4%,*** originality of the present research stems from the micro and macro structure design of the proposed thermal management material and the combination of intrinsic advantages of every *** work provides a reliable design of achieving the integration of thermal management functions into an aerogel composite and improves the thermal safety of lithium-ion batteries.

Although poly(lactic acid)(PLA)is a good environmentally-friendly bio-degradable polymer which is used to substitute traditional petrochemical-based polymer packaging films,the barrier properties of PLA films are still insufficient for high-barrier packaging *** this study,oxygen scavenger hydroxyl-terminated polybutadiene(HTPB)and cobalt salt catalyst were incorporated into the PLA/poly(butylene adipate-co-terephthalate)(PLA/PBAT),followed by melting extrusion and three-layer co-extrusion blown film process to prepare the composite *** oxygen permeability coefficient of the composite film combined with 6 wt%oxygen scavenger and 0.4 wt%catalyst was decreased significantly from 377.00 cc·mil·m^(-2)·day^(-1)·0.1 MPa^(-1) to 0.98 cc·mil·m^(-2)·day^(-1)·0.1 MPa^(-1),showing a remarkable enhancement of 384.69 times compared with the PLA/PBAT composite ***,the degradation behavior of the composite film was also accelerated,exhibiting a mass loss of nearly 60%of the original mass after seven days of degradation in an alkaline environment,whereas PLA/PBAT composite film only showed a mass loss of 32%.This work has successfully prepared PLA/PBAT composite films with simultaneously improved oxygen barrier property and degradation behavior,which has great potential for high-demanding green chemistry packaging industries,including food,agricultural,and military packaging.
