The effect of different initial densities of nematode (Meloidogyne javanica) on the build-up of Pasteuria penetrans population

Pasteuria penetrans will build-up faster where there is a high initial nematode density and can suppress root-knot nematode populations in the roots of tomato plants. The effect of different initial densities of nematode (Meloidogyne javanica)(150, 750, 1500, 3000) and P. penetrans infected females (F1, F3) densities (F0=control and AC=absolute control without nematode or P. penetrans inoculum) on the build-up of Pasteuria population was investigated over four crop cycles. Two major points of interest were highlighted. First, that within a confined soil volume, densities of P. penetrans can increase >100 times within 2 or 3 crop cycles. Second, from a relatively small amount of spore inoculum, infection of the host is very high. There were more infected females in the higher P. penetrans doses. The root growth data confirms the greater number of females in the controls particularly at the higher inoculum densities in the third and fourth crops. P. penetrans generally caused the fresh root weights to be higher than those in the control. P. penetrans has shown greater reduction of egg masses per plant at most *** effects of different initial densities of M. javanica and P. penetrans on the development of the pest and parasite populations were monitored. And no attempt was made to return the P. penetrans spores to the pots after each crop so the build-up in actual numbers of infected females and spores under natural conditions may be underestimated.

The growing need for sustainable energy solutions,driven by rising energy shortages,environmental concerns,and the depletion of conventional energy sources,has led to a significant focus on renewable *** energy,among the various renewable sources,is particularly appealing due to its abundant ***,the efficiency of commercial solar photovoltaic(PV)modules is hindered by several factors,notably their conversion efficiency,which averages around 19%.This efficiency can further decline to 10%–16%due to temperature increases during peak sunlight *** study investigates the cooling of PV modules by applying water to their front surface through Computational fluid dynamics(CFD).The study aimed to determine the optimal conditions for cooling the PV module by analyzing the interplay between water film thickness,Reynolds number,and their effects on temperature reduction and heat *** CFD analysis revealed that the most effective cooling condition occurred with a 5 mm thick water film and a Reynolds number of *** specific parameters were found to maximize the heat transfer and temperature reduction *** finding is crucial for the development of practical and efficient cooling systems for PV modules,potentially leading to improved performance and longevity of solar *** cooling fluids or advanced cooling techniques that might offer even better efficiency or practical benefits.

BACKGROUND Acute myeloid leukemia(AML)is a complicated disease with uncontrolled hematopoietic precursor proliferation induced by various genetic ***-related transcription factor-1(RUNX1)is commonly disrupted by chromosomal translocations in hematological *** To characterize RUNX1 gene rearrangements and copy number variations in newly diagnosed adult AML patients,with an emphasis on the impact of clinical and laboratory features on the *** Fluorescence in situ hybridization was used to test RUNX1 gene alterations in 77 newly diagnosed adult AML ***1,FLT3/ITD,FLT3/TKD,and KIT mutations were tested by *** clinical and laboratory findings were studied in relation to RUNX1 *** RUNX1 abnormalities were detected by fluorescence in situ hybridization in 41.6%of patients:20.8%had translocations,22.1%had amplification,and 5.2%had *** prevailed in AML-M2(P=0.019)with a positive expression of myeloperoxidase(P=0.031),whereas deletions dominated in M4 and M5 subtypes(P=0.008)with a positive association with CD64 expression(P=0.05).The modal chromosomal number was higher in cases having amplifications(P=0.007)and lower in those with deletions(P=0.008).RUNX1 abnormalities were associated with complex karyotypes(P<0.001)and were mutually exclusive of NPM1 *** 44 months of follow-up,RUNX1 abnormalities affected neither patients’response to treatment nor overall *** RUNX1 abnormalities were mutually exclusive of NPM1 ***1 abnormalities affected neither patients’response to treatment nor overall survival.

A stable flat universe with variable cosmological constant in f(R,T)gravity

In this paper, a general FRW cosmological model has been constructed in f（R, T） gravity reconstruction with variable cosmological constant. A number of solutions to the field equations has been generated by utilizing a form for the Hubble parameter that leads to Berman＇s law of constant deceleration parameter q =m - 1. The possible decelerating and accelerating solutions have been investigated. For （q 〉 0） we get a stable fiat decelerating radiation-dominated universe at q = 1. For （q 〈 0） we get a stable accelerating solution describing a flat universe with positive energy density and negative cosmological constant. Nonconventional mechanisms that are expected to address the late-time acceleration with negative cosmological constant have been discussed.

Bastnaesite((Ce,La,Pr,Nd)CO_(3)F) is a significant light rare earth mineral found in nature,known for its fine-grained *** is commonly employed for the recovery of fine-grained bastnaesite *** serve as an essential flotation reagent that enhance the surface hydrophobicity of target minerals.A novel collector,N-hydroxy-9-octadecenamide(N-OH-9-ODA),was synthesised in this study.N-OH-9-ODA exhibits superior selectivity compared to the traditional collector oleic acid in the flotation separation of bastnaesite and *** experimental and co mputational results indicate that N-OH-9-ODA exhibits superior selectivity due to its higher adsorption affinity for bastnaesite surface compared to fluorite *** zeta potential and the binding energies of the Ce 3d peaks in the X-ray photoelectron spectrum(XPS) of bastnaesite surface exhibit significant ***,fluorite surface demonstrates minimal alterations in its zeta potential and the binding energies of the Ca 2p peaks in its XPS after its interaction with N-OH-9-ODA.

Monazite((Ce,La)PO_(4))is one of the major types of light rare earth minerals from which the light rare earth elements cerium(Ce)and lanthanum(La)are economically *** is extensively used to recover fine-grained *** oleate(NaOL)is considered as the collector with strong collecting ability for monazite ***,this study shows that its collecting ability is still *** this paper,a phosphonic acid,nonane-1,1-bisphosphonic acid(C9-BPA),was employed as the novel collector in place of *** experiments show that even when the C9-BPA dosage is less than one-fifth of the NaOL dosage,the monazite recove ry using C9-BPA as the collector is approximately 22 wt%higher than that using *** mechanism by which C9-BPA adsorbs on monazite was investigated using zeta potential,infrared(IR)spectroscopy and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS)measurements as well as first-principles *** potential measurements show a more significant decrease in the zeta potentials of monazite after the addition of C9-BPA compared to those after the addition of *** C9-BPA-treated monazite,the characteristic peaks of C9-BPA are observed in the IR and C 1 s XPS spectrum,whereas for monazite treated by NaOL,no characteristic peak of NaOL was *** results show that C9-BPA has a stronger affinity towards the monazite surface than NaOL as confirmed by the higher adsorption energy of CP-BPA on the monazite surface(-204.22 kJ/mol)than NaOL(-48.48 kJ/mol).This study demonstrates an extensive application value and prospect of C9-BPA in monazite flotation and helps design novel collectors with strong collecting ability for monazite flotation.

The kinetics of the reaction of Fast Green dye(FG)with cetylpyridinum chloride was studied in alkaline medium by UV-Visible *** of Fast Green dye was carried out by varying the fast green dye concentration,cetylpyridinum chloride concentration and concentration of sodium *** the present study the reduction of dye was carried out in order to reduce the color *** interaction of dye was carried out with reducing analyte(cetylpyridinum chloride).The rate of the reaction was determined by varying the above parameters at different *** was observed that the reduction followed pseudo first-order kinetics with respect to dye,surfactant,OH–ion concentration according to the following reaction *** like entropy of activation(ΔS)and free energy of activation(ΔG)showed the extremely solvated states of transient complex which was less disorderly arranged than the oxidized form of dye,whereas Ea values reflects a high amount of energy required for the reduction of dye with cetylpyridinum chloride.
