In the wake of the era of big data,the techniques of deep learning have become an essential research direction in the machine learning field and are beginning to be applied in the steel *** sintering process is an extremely complex industrial *** the main process of the blast furnace ironmaking industry,it has great economic value and environmental protection significance for iron and steel *** is also one of the fields where deep learning is still in the exploration *** order to explore the application prospects of deep learning techniques in iron ore sintering,a comprehensive summary and conclusion of deep learning models for intelligent sintering were presented after reviewing the sintering process and deep learning models in a large number of research ***,the mechanisms and characteristics of parameters in sintering processes were introduced and analysed in detail,and then,the development of iron ore sintering simulation techniques was ***,deep learning techniques were introduced,including commonly used models of deep learning and their ***,the current status of applications of various types of deep learning models in sintering processes was elaborated in detail from the aspects of prediction,controlling,and optimisation of key *** speaking,deep learning models that could be more effectively implemented in more situations of the sintering and even steel industry chain will promote the intelligent development of the metallurgical industry.

Socio-economic vulnerability level in the Jeneberang watershed in Gowa Regency,South Sulawesi Province,Indonesia

Jeneberang watershed is vital,particularly for people living in Gowa Regency(South Sulawesi Province,Indonesia),who benefit from its many *** and floods occur every year in the Jeneberang watershed,so it is imperative to understand the socio-economic vulnerability of this *** research aims to identify the vulnerability level of the Jeneberang watershed so that the government can prioritize areas with high vulnerability level and formulate effective strategies to reduce these the ***,this study was conducted in 12 districts located in the Jeneberang *** primary data were collected from questionnaires completed by community members,community leaders,and various stakeholders,and the secondary data were from the Landsat satellite imagery in 2020,the Badan Push Statistic of Gowa Regency,and some governmental *** socio-economic vulnerability variables were determined using the Multiple Criteria Decision Analysis(MCDA)method,and each variable was weighted and analyzed using the Geographical Information System(GIS).The study reveals that the levels of socio-economic vulnerability are affected by variables such as population density,vulnerable groups(disabled people,elderly people,and young people),road network and settlement,percentage of poor people,and productive land area in the Jeneberang ***,all of the 12 districts in the Jeneberang watershed are included in the medium vulnerability level,with the mean percentage of socio-economic vulnerability around 50.92%.The socio-economic vulnerability of Bajeng,Pallangga,and Somba Opu districts is categorized at high level,the socio-economic vulnerability of Bungaya,Parangloe,and Tombolo Pao districts is classified as medium level,and the remaining 6 districts(Barombong,Bontolempangan,Bontomarannu,Manuju,Parigi,and Tinggimoncong)are ranked as low socio-economic *** study can help policy-makers to formulate strategy that contributes t

With the rapid development of location-based services and online social networks,POI recommendation services considering geographic and social factors have received extensive ***,the vigorous development of cloud computing has prompted service providers to outsource data to the cloud to provide POI recommendation ***,there is a degree of distrust of the cloud by service *** protect digital assets,service providers encrypt data before outsourcing ***,encryption reduces data availability,making it more challenging to provide POI recommendation services in outsourcing *** privacy-preserving schemes for geo-social-based POI recommendation have been presented,but they have some limitations in supporting group query,considering both geographic and social factors,and query accuracy,making these schemes *** solve this issue,we propose two practical and privacy-preserving geo-social-based POI recommendation schemes for single user and group users,which are named GSPR-S and ***,we first utilize the quad tree to organize geographic data and the MinHash method to index social ***,we apply BGV fully homomorphic encryption to design some private algorithms,including a private max/min operation algorithm,a private rectangular set operation algorithm,and a private rectangular overlapping detection *** that,we use these algorithms as building blocks in our schemes for efficiency *** to security analysis,our schemes are proven to be secure against the honest-but-curious cloud servers,and experimental results show that our schemes have good performance.

Q-Switched Erbium-Doped Fiber Laser Using Cadmium Selenide Coated onto Side-Polished D-Shape Fiber as Saturable Absorber

A stable Q-switched erbium doped fiber laser emitting at 1558 nm is demonstrated using a cadmium selenide（CdSe） material coated onto a side-polished D-shape fiber as the saturable absorber（SA）. By elevating the input pump power from the threshold of 91 mW to the maximum available power of 136 mW, a pulse train with a maximum repetition rate of 57.44 kHz, minimum pulse width of 3.76 us, maximum average output power of7.99 mW, maximum pulse energy of 0.1391 uJ, and maximum peak power of 36.99 mW are obtained. The signalto-noise ratio of the spectrum is measured to be around 75 dB. This CdSe based SA is simple, robust, and reliable,and thus suitable for making a portable pulse laser source.

Molybdenum Disulphide Tape Saturable Absorber for Mode-Locked Double-Clad Ytterbium-Doped All-Fiber Laser Generation

We demonstrate the generation of passive mode-locked double-clad ytterbium-doped fiber laser operating in a 1-micron region. We prepare the saturable absorber from commercial crystal of molybdenum disulphide （MoS2 ）. Without chemical procedure, the MoS2 is mechanically exfoliated by using a clear scotch tape. A few layers of MoS2 flakes are obtained on the tape. Then, a piece of 1× 1 mm tape containing MoS2 thin flakes is inserted between two fiber ferrules and is integrated in the ring cavity. Stable mode-locking operation is attained at 1090nm with a repetition rate of l3.2 MHz. Our mode-locked laser has a maximum output power of 2OmW with 1.48nJ pulse energy. These results validate that the MoS2 has a broad operating wavelength which covers the 1-micron region, and it is also able to work in a high-power cavity.

Understanding the relation between spatial heterogeneity and structural rejuvenation is one of the hottest topics in the field of metallic glasses(MGs).In this work,molecular dynamics(MD)simulation is implemented to discover the effects of initial spatial heterogeneity on the level of rejuvenation in the Ni_(80)P_(20)*** this purpose,the samples are prepared with cooling rates of 10^(10) K/s-10^(12) K/s to make glassy alloys with different atomic ***,it is found that the increase in the cooling rate leads the Gaussian-type shear modulus distribution to widen,indicating the aggregations in both elastically soft and hard *** the primary evaluations,the elastostatic loading is also used to transform structural rejuvenation into the atomic *** results indicate that the sample with intermediate structural heterogeneity prepared with 10^(11) K/s exhibits the maximum structural rejuvenation which is due to the fact that the atomic configuration in an intermediate structure contains more potential sites for generating the maximum atomic rearrangement and loosely packed regions under an external *** features of atomic rearrangement and structural changes under the rejuvenation process are discussed in detail.

Holmium Oxide Film as a Saturable Absorber for 2μm Q-Switched Fiber Laser

This work reports on the use of the holmium oxide （Ho2O3） polymer film as a saturable absorber （SA） for generating stable Q-switching pulses operating in a 2μm region in a thulium-doped fiber laser cavity. The SA is prepared by diluting a commercial Ho3O2 powder and then mixing it with polyvinyI alcohol （PVA） solution to form a Ho2O3-PVA film. A tiny part of the film about 1mm×1 mm in size is sandwiched between two fiber ferrules with the help of index matching gel. When incorporated in a laser cavity driven by a 1552-nm pump, stable Q-switching pulses are observed at 1955nm within the pump power range of 363 491 roW. As the pmnp power increases within this range, the repetition rate rises from 26 kHz to 39 kHz, as the pulse width drops from 4.22μs to 2.57μs. The laser operates with a signal-to-noise ratio of 47dB, and the maximum output power and the pulse energy obtained are 2.67mW and 69ng, respectively. Our results successfully demonstrate that the Ho2O3 film can be used as a passive SA to generate a 2μm pulse laser.

Durability of Performance Foamed Concrete Mix Design with Silica Fume for Housing Development

This study investigated the performance of the properties of foamed concrete in replacing volumes of cement at around 10 and 15% by weight. A control unit of foamed concrete mixture made with Ordinary Portland Cement (OPC) and 10 and 15% silica fume (SF) was prepared. SF is commonly used to increase the compressive strength of concrete materials and for economic concerns. The foamed concrete in this study was cured at a relative humidity of 70% and ± temperature of 28°C. This study highlighted the compressive strength of concrete under sealed condition, showing no significant reduction in strength. There was little difference in the performance of the sample compared with that of the usual mixture of concrete. An effective water/cement (w/c) ratio was developed to predict the strength (up to 28 days) of foamed concrete made with normal densities and with a different percentage of SF. The calculated results compared well with the experimental results.

Nanosecond Pulses Generation with Samarium Oxide Film Saturable Absorber

Nanosecond pulse generation is demonstrated in a mode-locked erbium-doped fiber laser(EDFL) utilizing a samarium oxide(Sm2O3) film. The Sm2O3 film exhibits a modulation depth of 33%, which is suitable for modelocking operation. The passively pulsed EDFL operates stably at 1569.8 nm within a pumping power from 109 to 146 m W. The train of generated output pulses has a pulse width of 356 nm repeated at a fundamental frequency of 0.97 MHz. The average output power of 3.91 m W is obtained at a pump power of 146 m W, corresponding to 4.0 nJ pulse energy. The experimental result indicates that the proposed Sm2O3 saturable absorber is viable for the construction of a flexible and reliably stable mode-locked pulsed fiber laser operating in the 1.5 m region.
