In power converter control,predictive control has several merits,such as simple concept and fast ***,the necessity to use the weighting factor inside the cost function makes the control design complex in the case of regulating multivariables where the value of the weighting factor is obtained by a nontrivial ***,it primarily depends on the system parameters and operating points of the control *** paper aims to enhance the model predictive algorithm of the singlestage topology of a quasi-Z Source Inverter(qZSI).The concept of a multi-objective optimization approach is used in addition to the sub-cost function definition to remove the weighting *** using the sub-cost function definition,the inductor current is pushed away from the main loop of the predictive ***,no weighting factor is needed to manage the priority of the inductor *** other two control targets,which are the capacitor voltage and load currents,will be controlled by the multi-objective optimization approach without using any weighting factors.A detailed theoretical analysis of the proposed technique will be given and validated based on simulation results.

With high penetration of renewable energy sources(RESs)in modern power systems,system frequency becomes more prone to fluctuation as RESs do not naturally have inertial properties.A conventional energy storage system(ESS)based on a battery has been used to tackle the shortage in system inertia but has low and short-term power support during the *** address the issues,this paper proposes a new synthetic inertia control(SIC)design with a superconducting magnetic energy storage(SMES)system to mimic the necessary inertia power and damping properties in a short time and thereby regulate the microgrid(µG)frequency during *** addition,system frequency deviation is reduced by employing the proportional-integral(PI)controller with the proposed SIC *** efficacy of the proposed SIC system is validated by comparison with the conventional ESS and SMES systems without using the PI controller,under various load/renewable perturbations,nonlinearities,and *** simulation results highlight that the proposed system with SMES can efficiently manage several disturbances and high system uncertainty compared to the conventional ESS and SMES systems,without using the PI controller.

This study presents the synchronisation between two non-linear Lorenz chaotic systems using an adaptive intuitionistic fuzzy controller(AIFC).This problem is solved in the presence of external disturbances and *** classes of Lorenz systems have been formulated one as the master and the other as the *** master and slave systems have different initial *** different initial conditions,both systems *** is called the butterfly effect that rules the behaviour of chaotic *** is chosen as a different method that has not been used before to synchronise the chaotic *** scaling factors of the inputs and the output of the intuitionistic fuzzy controller(IFC)are tuned using the artificial bee colony(ABC)algorithm depending on a specified objective *** IFC stability is studied when it is applied to synchronise the Lorenz *** simulation results achieved to assess the adequacy of the proposed control and to exhibit its dependability to synchronise the Lorenz system.

The model of equations of micropolar generalized magneto-thermoelasticity is introduced within the context of the theory of two temperatures generalized thermoelasticity and we consider a problem of an isotropic homogeneous micropolar medium taking into account the heat effects and allowing the magnetic field effects. A plane wave analysis is employed to obtain the exact formulas of the two temperatures （conductive and mechanical）, displacement components, micro-rotation components, stresses, couple stresses, induced electric current, electric field and magnetic field. Arbitrary application is chosen to enable us to get the complete solution. The considered variables are presented graphically and discussions are made for the results.

This article reports the effect of ageing on the microstructure, martensitic transformation, magnetic properties, and mechanical properties of Ni51FelsGa27Ti4 shape memory alloy. There are five specimens of this alloy aged at 573 up to 973 K for 3 h per each. This range of ageing temperature greatly affects the microstructure of the alloy. As the ageing temperature increased from 573 up to 973 K, the microstructure of Ni51FelsGa27Ti4 alloy gradually changed from the entirely martensitic matrix at 573 K to the fully austenitic microstructure at 973 K. The volume fraction of precipi- tated Ni3Ti particles increased with the ageing temperature increasing from 573 to 773 K. Further increasing the ageing temperature to 973 K decreased the content of Ni3Ti in the microstructure. The martensitic transformation tempera- ture was decreased steadily by increasing the ageing temperature. The magnetization saturation, remnant magnetization, and coercivity increased with the ageing temperature increasing up to 773 K. A further increase in ageing temperature decreased these raagnetic properties. Moreover, the hardness values were gradually increased at first by increasing the ageing temperature to 773 K, and then dramatically decreased to the lowest value at 973 K.

Based on a modified-Darcy-Maxwell model, two-dimensional, incompressible and heat transfer flow of two bounded layers, through electrified Maxwell fluids in porous media is performed. The driving force for the instability under an electric field, is an electrostatic force exerted on the free charges accumulated at the dividing interface. Normal mode analysis is considered to study the linear stability of the disturbances layers. The solutions of the linearized equations of motion with the boundary conditions lead to an implicit dispersion relation between the growth rate and wave number. These equations are parameterized by Weber number, Reynolds number, Marangoni number, dimensionless conductivities, and dimensionless electric potentials. The case of long waves interfaciaJ stability has been studied. The stability criteria are performed theoreticaily in which stability diagrams are obtained. In the limiting cases, some previously published results can be considered as particular cases of our results. It is found that the Reynolds number plays a destabilizing role in the stability criteria, while the damping influence is observed for the increasing of Marangoni number and Maxwell relaxation time.

Fecal microbiota transplantation for irritable bowel syndrome:An intervention for the 21st century

Irritable bowel syndrome(IBS)affects about 12%of the global *** IBS does not develop into a serious disease or increase mortality,it results in a considerable reduction in the quality of *** etiology of IBS is not known,but the intestinal microbiota appears to play a pivotal role in its *** is no effective treatment for IBS,and so the applied treatments clinically focus on symptom *** microbiota transplantation(FMT),an old Chinese treatment,has been applied to IBS patients in seven randomized controlled trials(RCTs).Positive effects on IBS symptoms in various degrees were obtained in four of these RCTs,while there was no effect in the remaining *** the seven RCTs there were marked differences in the selection processes for the donor and treated patients,the transplant dose,the route of administration,and the methods used to measure how the patients responded to *** present frontier discusses these differences and proposes:(1)criteria for selecting an effective donor(superdonor);(2)selection criteria for patients that are suitable for FMT;(3)the optimal FMT dose;and(4)the route of transplant *** appears to be safe,with only mild,self-limiting side effects of abdominal pain,cramping,tenderness,diarrhea,and *** it is early to speculate about the mechanisms underlying the effects of FMT,the available data suggest that changes in the intestinal bacteria accompanied by changes in fermentation patterns and fermentation products(specifically short-chain fatty acids)play an important role in improving the IBS symptoms seen after *** appears to be a promising treatment for IBS,but further studies are needed before it can be applied in everyday clinical practice.

Owing to the significant number of hybrid generation systems(HGSs)containing various energy sources,coordina-tion between these sources plays a vital role in preserving frequency *** this paper,an adaptive coordination control strategy for renewable energy sources(RESs),an aqua electrolyzer(AE)for hydrogen production,and a fuel cell(FC)-based energy storage system(ESS)is proposed to enhance the frequency stability of an *** the proposed system,the excess energy from RESs is used to power electrolysis via an AE for hydrogen energy storage in *** proposed method is based on a proportional-integral(Pl)controller,which is optimally designed using a grey wolf optimization(GWO)algorithm to estimate the surplus energy from RESs(ie,a proportion of total power generation of RESs:Kn).The studied HGS contains various types of generation systems including a diesel generator,wind tur-bines,photovoltaic(PV)systems,AE with FCs,and ESSs(e.g.,battery and flywheel).The proposed method varies Kn with varying frequency deviation values to obtain the best benefits from RESs,while damping the frequency *** proposed method is validated by considering different loading conditions and comparing with other existing studies that consider Kn as a constant *** simulation results demonstrate that the proposed method,which changes Kn value and subsequently stores the power extracted from the RESs in hydrogen energy storage according to frequency deviation changes,performs better than those that use constant *** statistical analysis for frequency deviation of HGS with the proposed method has the best values and achieves large improvements for minimum,maximum,difference between maximum and minimum,mean,and standard deviation compared to the existing method.
