Regional estimates of POC export flux derived from thorium-234 in the western Arctic Ocean

In order to elucidate the regional export variation of participate organiccarbon in the western Arctic Ocean, samples vertically integrated between 0 and 100 m depth orbetween 0 and 30 m/40 m depth were collected for total ^(234)Th measurements and those from 30 m/40m or 100 m depth were collected for paniculate ^(234)Th measurements during the Second ChineseArctic Expedition in July— September 2003. The removal fluxes and residence time of ^(234)Th in theupper water column were calculated by using irreversible steady-state scavenging model. The resultsshowed that, total ^(234)Th was deficit relative to its parent ^(238)U in the western Arctic Oceanexcept in the western Chukchi shelf and the slope regions around 160°W, indicating that scavengingand removal processes play an important role in element biogeochemical cycle in the Arctic Ocean. Inthe western Chukchi shelf and the slope regions around 160°W, total ^(234)Th was excess relativeto ^(238)U, ascribing to the horizontal input of ^(234)Th adsorbed by ice-rafted ***-234 removal fluxes decreased from the shelf to the deep ocean, while the residence time of^(234)Th increased from shelf to offshore, demonstrating that particle scavenging and removalprocesses are more active in the shelf regions. The estimated POC export fluxes from 40 m in theshelf regions and from 100 m in the slope and deep ocean varied between 1.6 and 27.5 mmol/(m^2·d),and between 1.8 and 14.4 mmol/(m^2·d), respectively. The averaged POC export fluxes over the entirewater column decreased from the shelf to the deep ocean, indicating that the Chukchi shelf is animportant region for organic carbon sequestration. The high ThE ratios (ratio of POC export fluxderived from ^(234)Th/^(238)U disequilibria to primary production) in the western Arctic Oceansuggested that the biological pump runs actively in high-latitudes.

^(226)Ra evidence for the ecosystem shift over the past 40 years in the North Pacific Subtropical Gyre

Surface seawater was collected for ^(226)Ra measurement in the North Pacific Subtropical Gyre from July to October, 1999 and October to December, 2003. Combined with the historical data reported for this sea area, a declined trend of surface ^(226)Ra concentrations was observed since 1960s, indicating the ecosystem shift in response to global warming. On one side, the enhanced stratification of the upper water column resulting from global warming reduced the ^(226)Ra input from the depth, on the other, the temporal increase of biological production resulting from the climate-related ecosystem structure change strengthened the ^(226)Ra removal from the surface ocean. Both the physical and biological processes resulted in the decrease of surface ^(226)Ra concentrations in the North Pacific Subtropical Gyre. The temporal trend of surface ^(226)Ra concentrations was consistent with the trends of chlorophyll a, silicate, phosphate and primary production previously reported. This study provided ^(226)Ra evidence for the ecosystem shift under global change.

Novel ionic liquids as reaction medium for atom transfer radical polymerization of methyl methacrylate

Atom transfer radical polymerization （ATRP） of methyl methacrylate （Mma） employing ethyl 2-bromoisobutyrate （EBiB）/ CuBr as the initiating system was investigated at 50 ℃ in the absence of any additional ligand in the three room temperature ionic liquids （RTILs）, 1-methyl-imidazolium acetate （[mim][CH3COO]）, 1-methylimidazolium propionate （[mim][CH3CH2COO]） and 1-methylimidazolium butyrate （[mim][CH3CH2CH2COO]）, respectively. All the polymerization in the three RTILs proceeded in a well-controlled manner. The sequence of the apparent polymerization rate constants was kapp（[mim][CH3COO]）〉 kapp（[mim] [CH3CH2COO]）〉 kapp （[mim][CH3CH2CH2COO]）.

The neutron capture cross sections(n,γ)of bromine were obtained using the time-of-flight technique at the Back-n facility of the China Spallation Neutron ***γ-rays originating from neutron-induced capture events were detected using four C_(6)D_(6) *** pulse-height weighting technique and double-bunch unfolding method based on Bayesian theory were used in the data *** deductions,normalization,and corrections were carefully considered to obtain reliable measurement *** multilevel R-matrix Bayesian code SAMMY was used to extract the resonance parameters in the resolved resonance region(RRR).The average cross sections in the unresolved resonance region(URR)were obtained from 10 to 400 *** experimental results were compared with data from several evaluated libraries and previous experi-ments in the RRR and *** TALYS code was used to describe the average cross sections in the *** astrophysical maxwell average cross sections(maCSs)of ^(79,81)Br from kT=5 to 100 keV were calculated over a sufficiently wide range of neutron *** a thermal energy of kT=30 keV,the maCS value for ^(79)Br 682±68 mb was in good agreement with the KADoNiS v1.0 recommended *** contrast,the value of 293±29 mb for ^(81)Br was substantially higher than that of the evaluated database and the KADoNiS v1.0 recommended value.

mammalian target of rapamycin(m TOR) inhibitor as an attractive drug target with promising antitumor effects has been widely investigated. High quality clinical trial has been conducted in liver transplant(LT) recipients in Western countries. However, the pertinent studies in Eastern world are paucity. Therefore, we designed a clinical trial to test whether sirolimus can improve recurrence-free survival(RFS) in hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC) patients beyond the Milan criteria after LT. This is an open-labeled, single-arm, prospective, multicenter, and real-world study aiming to evaluate the clinical outcomes of early switch to sirolimus-based regimens in HCC patients after LT. Patients with a histologically proven HCC and beyond the Milan criteria will be enrolled. The initial immunosuppressant regimens are center-specifc for the frst 4-6 weeks. The following regimens integrated sirolimus into the regimens as a combination therapy with reduced calcineurin inhibitors based on the condition of patients and centers. The study is planned for 4 years in total with a 2-year enrollment period and a 2-year follow-up. We predict that sirolimus conversion regimen will provide survival benefts for patients particular in the key indicator RFS as well as better quality of life. If the trial is conducted successfully, we will have a continued monitoring over a longer follow-up time to estimate indicator of overall survival. We hope that the outcome will provide better evidence for clinical decision-making and revising treatment guidelines based on Chinese population data.

It's a challenge for detecting the therapeutic targets of a polypharmacological drug from variations in the responsed networks in thedfferentiated populations with complex diseases,as stable coronary heart ***,in an adaptive,31-center,randomized,double-blind trial invoving 920 patients with moderate symptomatic stable angina treated by 14-day Danhong injection(DHI),a kind of polyphamacological drug with high quality control,or placebo(0.9%saline),with 76-day following-up,we firstly confrmed that DHl couldincrease the proportion of patients with clinically significant changes on angina-frequency assessed by Seattle Angina Questionnaire(ASAQ-AF220)(12.78%at Day 30,95%confidence interval[C]5.86-19.71%,P=0.0003,13.82%at Day 6C0,95%CI 6.82-20.82%,P=0.0001and 8.95%at Day 90,95%CI 2.06-15.85%,P=0.01).We also found that there were no significant differences in new-onset major vascularevents(P=0.8502)and serious adverse events(P=0.9105)between DHl and *** performing the RNA sequencing in 62 selectedpatients,we developed a systemic modular approach tp identfy differentilly expressed modules(DEMs)of DHI with the Z_(summay)valueless than 0 compared with the control group,calculated by weighted gene co-expression network analysis(WGCNA),and sketched out thebasic framework on a modular map with 25 functional modules targeted by ***,the effective therapeutic module(ETM),defined as the highest corelation value with the phenotype alteration(SAQ-AF,the change in SAQ-AF at Day 30 from baseline)calculatedby WGCNA,was identifed in the population with the best effect(ASAQ-AF240),which is related to anticoagulation and regulation ofcholesterol *** assessed the modular flexbility of this ETM using the global topological D value based on Euclidean distance,which is corelated with phenotype alteration(r^(2):0.8204,P=0.019)by linear *** study identified the ant-angina therapeuticmodule in the effective population treated by the multi-target

目的为了探究天然树莓酮提取的最佳工艺条件,以及树莓酮的抗脂质过氧化作用。方法以红树莓为原料,选用超声辅助乙醇提取法提取树莓酮,采用气相色谱法测定树莓酮含量。基于单因素实验结果,以料液比、乙醇浓度、超声时间和温度为影响因子,树莓酮得率为响应值,设计响应曲面优化实验,并研究树莓酮的抗脂质过氧化作用。结果得到树莓酮最佳提取条件,料液比(g/mL)为1∶15、乙醇体积分数为85%、超声时间为50 min,超声温度为40℃。在此条件下验证了实验,得出树莓酮含量为2.803μg/g,抗蛋黄卵磷脂脂质过氧化能力趋势为Vc溶液>树莓酮粗提液>树莓酮标准溶液。结论超声波辅助乙醇提取法可有效应用于红树莓中树莓酮的提取,且树莓酮粗提液对由Fe^2+诱导的脂质过氧化有一定的抑制作用。

为探究大孔树脂纯化红树莓果中树莓酮的最佳工艺,以红树莓果中得到的粗提液为原料,采用气相色谱法测定树莓酮含量,以吸附率和解析率为指标,通过静态吸附及解析实验对4种大孔树脂(AB-8、D101、DA-201、X-5)进行筛选,得出最优大孔树脂并进行树莓酮的分离纯化实验。最终确定大孔树脂分离纯化红树莓中树莓酮的最佳工艺条件为:选择AB-8型大孔树脂,纯化浓度为3.155μg/mL,上样体积为30mL,吸附流速为1mL/min;收集用浓度为30%～70%乙醇溶液洗脱的树莓酮纯化液,洗脱剂用量为100m L,洗脱流速为1.5mL/min。经验证实验得树莓酮纯度可达51.33%,说明AB-8型大孔树脂能较好的用于树莓酮的纯化工艺。

应用肺部超声的肺水B线与N末端B型利钠肽原和E/e'评价急性心力衰竭患者肺水肿的相关研究

目的:通过将肺部超声的肺水B线与N末端B型利钠肽原(NT-proB NP)、二尖瓣舒张早期血流峰值速度与二尖瓣环舒张早期运动峰值速度比值(E/e’)进行相关性分析,探讨肺水B线诊断急性心力衰竭肺水肿的准确性。方法:纳入2016-02至2017-02期间在我院住院的急性心力衰竭患者124例,根据肺水B线总数分为轻度肺水肿组(肺水B线<15,n=33)、中度肺水肿组(15≤肺水B线<30,n=33)和重度肺水肿组(肺水B线≥30,n=58)三组。比较三组患者临床资料、心脏超声指标差异,以及肺水B线与NT-proB NP、E/e’、左心室射血分数和肺动脉压的相关性分析,并应用受试者工作特征(ROC)曲线来评价肺水B线诊断NT-proB NP≥5000 pg/ml和E/e’≥14的敏感性和特异性。结果:三组临床资料比较显示:重度肺水肿组纽约心脏协会(NYHA)心功能分级、NT-proB NP水平、湿性啰音、肺淤血的患者比例明显高于轻度肺水肿组和中度肺水肿组(P<0.05)。三组病例超声心动图检查结果比较,中度肺水肿组和重度肺水肿组的左心室射血分数明显低于轻度肺水肿组(P均<0.05);而重度肺水肿组的舒张功能指标如二尖瓣舒张早期血流峰值速度/舒张晚期血流峰值速度(E/A)、肺动脉压、E/e’均明显高于轻度肺水肿组(P<0.05)。肺水B线总数与NT-proB NP、E/e’和肺动脉压均呈正相关性,而与左心室射血分数呈负相关性(r=-0.214)。肺水B线总数与NT-proB NP的相关性最好(r=0.803,P<0.001),其次为E/e’(r=0.794,P<0.001),而与肺动脉压的相关性最差(r=0.330,P<0.001)。肺水B线诊断NT-proB NP≥5000 pg/ml和E/e’≥14的临界值均为30,ROC曲线下面积分别为0.823和0.768。结论:肺水B线与NT-proB NP、E/e’具有良好的相关性,肺部超声可以较准确地评价急性心力衰竭患者的肺水肿。
