Hydrogen(H2)has been regarded as a promising alternative to fossil-fuel *** H2 produced via water electrolysis(WE)powered by renewable energy could achieve a zero-carbon *** attention has been focused on developing highly active catalysts to facilitate the reaction kinetics and improve the energy efficiency of ***,the stability of the electrocatalysts hampers the commercial viability of *** studies have elucidated the origin of catalyst *** this review,we first discuss the WE mechanism,including anodic oxygen evolution reaction(OER)and cathodic hydrogen evolution reaction(heR).Then,we provide strategies used to enhance the stability of *** that,the deactivation mechanisms of the typical commercialized heR and OER catalysts,including Pt,Ni,RuO_(2),and IrO_(2),are ***,the influence of fluctuating energy on catalyst degradation is highlighted and in situ characterization methodologies for understanding the dynamic deactivation processes are described.

The recovery and subsequent reuse of heavy metal ions from industrial wastewater are crucial for promoting sustainable development,but they also presen significant *** this article,ethylenediaminetetraacetic dianhydride （EDTAD）,which possesses strong metal chelating ability,is covalently attached to MIL-101-NH2（Fe）,resulting in a significant improvement in the removal rate of heavy metal ions in ***,the recovered waste metal ions are transformed into high-performance FeNi3/NiFe2O4@NC dual-functional oxygen evolution reaction （OER） and oxygen reduction reaction （ORR） ***,FeNi3/NiFe2O4@NC exhibits outstanding OER performance,with only a264 mV overpotential at 10 ma·*** functiona theory （DFT） calculations reveal that the synergistic effect of the FeNi3/NiFe2O4@NC heterostructure can enhance conductivity,optimize the free energy of*to OH*during OER reaction,and promote catalytic *** work not only improves the removal rate of heavy metal ions but also obtains high-performance catalysts,while providing a new approach for the treatment and secondary utilization of heavy metal ion wastewater as well as the preparation of low-cost catalysts.

The Gravitational wave high-energy Electromagnetic Counterpart All-sky Monitor(GECAM)mission is designed to monitor the Gamma-Ray Bursts(GRBs)associated with gravitational waves and other high-energy transient *** mission consists of two microsatellites which are planned to operate at the opposite sides of the *** GECAM satellite could detect and localize GRBs in about 8 keV-5 MeV with its 25 Gamma-Ray Detectors(GRDs).In this work,we report the in-flight energy calibration of GRDs using the characteristic gamma-ray lines in the background spectra,and show their performance evolution during the commissioning ***,a preliminary cross-calibration of energy response with Fermi GBM data is also presented,validating the energy response of GRDs.

The southern Ordos Basin has excellent petroleum exploration ***,the tectono-thermal history and the controls on petroleum generation,accumulation and preservation conditions in southern basin are *** this study,we analyzed the present geothermal field,paleo-geothermal gradient,maturity of the hydrocarbon source rocks,uplift and cooling process and tectono-thermal evolution *** the study area,for the Ordovician,Permain and the Triassic strata,the present temperature is low(3070℃)in the southeastern area but high(80140℃)in the northwestern *** paleogeothermal gradient varied from 24℃/km to 30℃/km with a heat flow of 58—69 m W/m^(2)(i.e.,a medium-temperature basin).The paleo-temperatures are higher than the present temperatures and the maximum paleo-temperatures controlled the thermal maturity of the source *** vitrinite reflectance(Ro)values of the Triassic strata are>0.7%and the thermal maturity reached the middlemature oil generation *** Rovalues of the Permian-Ordovician strata are>1.8%and the thermal maturity reached the over-mature gas generation *** southern Ordos Basin has experienced the multiple tectonic events at the Late Ordovician Caledonian(452 ma),Late Triassic(215 ma),Late Jurassic(165160 ma),End-Early Cretaceous(110100 ma)and Cenozoic(since 40 ma).A large-scale tectonothermal event occurred at the End-Early Cretaceous(110100 ma),which was controlled by lithospheric extension,destruction and *** event led to the highest paleo-temperatures and thermal maturities and coeval with the peak period of petroleum generation and *** southern Ordos Basin has undergone rapid and large-scale uplift since the Late Cretaceous due to expansion of the northeastern margin of the Tibetan Plateau,uplift of the Qinling orogenic belt and thrust faulting in the liupanshan tectonic *** southern Ordos Basin experienced tectonic overprinting that was strong in the south and weak in the *** str

For sessile plants, gene expression plays a pivotal role in responding to salinity stress by activating or suppressing specific genes. However, our knowledge of genetic variations governing gene expression in response to salt stress remains limited in natural germplasm. Through transcriptome analysis of the Global Mini-Core Rice Collection consisting of a panel of 202 accessions, we identified 22 345 and 27 610expression quantitative trait loci associated with the expression of 7787 and 9361 e Genes under normal and salt-stress conditions, respectively, leveraging the super pan-genome map. Notably, combined with genome-wide association studies, we swiftly pinpointed the potential candidate gene STG5—a major salt-tolerant locus known as q STS5. Intriguingly, STG5 is required for maintaining na+/K+homeostasis by directly regulating the transcription of multiple members of the Os HKT gene family. Our study sheds light on how genetic variants influence the dynamic changes in gene expression responding to salinity stress and provides a valuable resource for the mining of salt-tolerant genes in the future.

BiSe with intrinsic low thermal conductivity has considered as a promising thermoelectric(TE)material at nearly room *** improve its low thermoelectric figure of merit(zT),in this work,Sb and Te isovalent co-alloying was performed and significantly optimized its TE property with weakly anisotropic *** substituting Sb on Bi sites,the carrier concentration is suppressed by introduction of Sbsingle bond Se site defects,which contributes to the increased absolute value of Seebeck coefficient(|S|).Further co-alloying Te on Se of the optimized composition Bi_(0.7)Sb_(0.3)Se,the carrier concentration increased without affecting the|S|due to the enhanced effective mass,which leads to a highest power factor of 12.8μW/(cm·K^(2))at 423 *** a result,a maximum zT of∼0.54 is achieved for Bi_(0.7)Sb_(0.3)Se_(0.7)Te_(0.3) along the pressing direction and the average zT(zTave)(from 300 K to 623 K)are drastically improved from 0.24 for pristine BiSe sample to ***,an energy conversion efficiency∼4.0%is achieved for a single leg TE device of Bi_(0.7)Sb_(0.3)Se_(0.7)Te_(0.3)when applied the temperature difference of 339 K,indicating the potential TE application.

The photoinduced dipole force(Pi DF) is an attractive force arising from the Coulombic interaction between the light-induced dipoles on the illuminated tip and the sample. It shows extreme sample-tip distance and refractive index dependence, which is promising for nanoscale infrared(IR) imaging of ultrathin samples. However, the existence of Pi DF in the mid-IR region has not been experimentally demonstrated due to the coexistence of photoinduced thermal force(Pi TF), typically one to two orders of magnitude higher than Pi DF. In this study, we demonstrate that, with the assistance of surface phonon polaritons, the Pi DF of c-quartz can be enhanced to surpass its Pi TF, enabling a clear observation of Pi DF spectra reflecting the properties of the real part of permittivity. Leveraging the detection of the Pi DF of phonon polaritonic substrate, we propose a strategy to enhance the sensitivity and contrast of photoinduced force responses in transmission images, facilitating the precise differentiation of the heterogeneous distribution of ultrathin samples.
