Establishing the relationship between land use land cover,normalized difference vegetation index and land surface temperature:A case of Lower Son River Basin,India

The study explores the intricate interplay between land use land cover(LULC),normalized difference vegetation index(NDVI),and land surface temperature(LST)within the Lower Son River Basin in India from 1991 to *** region’s ecological balance has been increasingly strained due to rapid urbanization and changing land use *** a combination of Landsat Tm&OLI/TIRS satellite imageries and geospatial analysis techniques,this study unveils the intricate connection between land use and land cover changes,vegetation,and land surface temperature *** study area is classified into three altitudinal zones(Zone Ⅰ:39–300 m,Zone Ⅱ:301–600 m and Zone Ⅲ:601–1,247 m)to examine the changes in *** area has seen significant changes in LULC,vegetation and LST in all the three altitudinal *** findings hold significant implications for sustainable land management and environmental conservation strategies in the Lower Son River *** per the result,103,438 ha of vegetation was converted into agriculture land and 82,572 ha of agricultural land was transformed into settlements from 1991 to *** trend shows human pressure on the land resource in the study *** increase in water body is seen which is attributed to commissioning of Bansagar *** Ⅰ has seen highest settlement growth while Zone Ⅲ experienced severe deforestation of around 15%.Zone Ⅱ and Ⅲ needs attention for holistic *** of LST shows that it has increased by 0.82℃ from 1991 to 2020 which is a red *** study underscores the critical importance of balanced land use practices to preserve ecological integrity and mitigate the adverse effects of urbanization and climate change.

The present research work attempted to delineate and characterize the reservoir facies from the Dawson Canyon Formation in the Penobscot field,Scotian *** integrated study of instantaneous frequency,P-impedance,volume of clay and neutron-porosity attributes,and structural framework was done to unravel the Late Cretaceous depositional system and reservoir facies distribution patterns within the study *** strikes were found in the EW and NEE-SWW directions indicating the dominant course of tectonic activities during the Late Cretaceous period in the region.P-impedance was estimated using model-based seismic *** properties such as the neutron porosity(NPHI)and volume of clay(VCL)were estimated using the multilayer perceptron neural network with high ***,a combination of low instantaneous frequency(15-30 Hz),moderate to high impedance(7000-9500 gm/cc*m/s),low neutron porosity(27%-40%)and low volume of clay(40%-60%),suggests fair-to-good sandstone development in the Dawson Canyon *** calibration with the welllog data,it is found that further lowering in these attribute responses signifies the clean sandstone facies possibly containing *** present study suggests that the shale lithofacies dominates the Late Cretaceous deposition(Dawson Canyon Formation)in the Penobscot field,Scotian *** faults and overlying shale facies provide structural and stratigraphic seals and act as a suitable hydrocarbon entrapment mechanism in the Dawson Canyon Formation's *** present research advocates the integrated analysis of multi-attributes estimated using different methods to minimize the risk involved in hydrocarbon exploration.

BACKGROUND Detection of early chronic changes in the kidney allograft is important for timely intervention and long-term *** and novel ultrasound-based investigations are being increasingly used for this purpose with variable *** To compare the diagnostic performance of resistive index(RI)and shear wave elastography(SWE)in the diagnosis of chronic fibrosing changes of kidney allograft with histopathological *** This is a cross-sectional and comparative study.A total of 154 kidney transplant recipients were included in this study,which was conducted at the Departments of Transplantation and Radiology,Sindh Institute of Urology and Transplantation,Karachi,Pakistan,from August 2022 to February *** consecutive patients with increased serum creatinine levels and reduced glomerular filtration rate(GFR)after three months of transplantation were enrolled in this *** and RI were performed and the findings of these were evaluated against the kidney allograft biopsy results to determine their diagnostic *** The mean age of all patients was 35.32±11.08 *** these,126(81.8%)were males and 28(18.2%)were *** mean serum creatinine in all patients was 2.86±1.68 mg/dL and the mean estimated GFR was 35.38±17.27 mL/min/1.73 *** allograft biopsy results showed chronic changes in 55(37.66%)*** sensitivity,specificity,positive predictive value(PPV),and negative predictive value(NPV)of SWE for the detection of chronic allograft damage were 93.10%,96.87%%,94.73%,and 95.87%,respectively,and the diagnostic accuracy was 95.45%.For RI,the sensitivity,specificity,PPV,and NPV were 76.92%,83.33%,70.17%,and 87.62%,respectively,and the diagnostic accuracy was 81.16%.CONCLUSION The results from this study show that SWE is more sensitive and specific as compared to RI in the evaluation of chronic allograft *** can be of great help during the routine follow-up of kidney transplant recipients for screening a

Computation of Resonant Frequency of Gap-coupled Ring microstrip Antennas

In this paper, an analytical model for computing the resonant frequency of the gap-coupled ring microstrip patch antennas is developed. The analytical model is based upon the cavity model along with circuit theory. Using the field expressions and boundary conditions, the transcendental equation for the structure is developed. The analytically computed results are compared with the simulated results. The simulation work is carried out by using computer simulation technology(CST) microwave studio *** comparison between simulated and computed results shows good agreement.

With increasing emphasis on renewable sources of energy,the gas turbine engine faces several challenges in evolving its design,to remain *** is one of the main components,which accounts for one-third of the engine *** designers have been exploring different ideas to achieve maximum pressure rise with minimum number of stages *** blading is one such novel design that has demonstrated higher diffusion capability than a single rotor blade.A single blade,with a higher diffusion factor,carries the risk of flow separation against the adverse pressure gradient of the compressor *** the tandem blading concept,a single blade is split into forward and aft *** gap that is created between the forward and aft blade,serves as a mechanism to energize the sluggish flow over the aft blade suction surface,which in turn helps in mitigating the flow *** present experimental work is aimed at exploring the feasibility of a tandem rotor in an axial flow compressor under the clean and radially distorted *** and unsteady experimental results of the tandem rotor are included in this *** stage performance characteristics,variation of total pressure,flow coefficient,and exit flow angle along the blade span for clean and distorted flow is included in this *** results of a steady Reynolds-averaged Navier-Stokes simulation are also included to give some insight into the complex flow field of the tandem *** transform,fast Fourier transform analysis,and visual inspection of casing pressure traces are used to analyze the unsteady result of the tandem rotor in clean and distorted *** tandem rotor is able to achieve its design pressure ratio and has a stall margin of 9%under the clean flow ***,stall appears as a low-intensity spike for all the cases,which turns into a long length-scale disturbance within three rotor revolutions.A modal wave of low frequency is also observed under clean

FmHADP: Design of an Efficient Pre-Forensic Layer for mitigating Hybrid Attacks via Deep Learning Pattern Analysis

Network attack detection and mitigation require packet collection， pre-processing， feature analysis， classification， and post-processing. models for these tasks sometimes become complex or inefficient when applied to real-time data samples. To mitigate hybrid assaults， this study designs an efficient forensic layer employing deep learning pattern analysis and multidomain feature extraction. In this paper， we provide a novel multidomain feature extraction method using Fourier， Z， Laplace， Discrete Cosine Transform (DCT)， 1D Haar Wavelet， Gabor， and Convolutional Operations. Evolutionary method dragon fly optimisation reduces feature dimensionality and improves feature selection accuracy. The selected features are fed into VGGNet and GoogLeNet models using binary cascaded neural networks to analyse network traffic patterns， detect anomalies， and warn network administrators. The suggested model tackles the inadequacies of existing approaches to hybrid threats， which are growing more common and challenge conventional security measures. Our model integrates multidomain feature extraction， deep learning pattern analysis， and the forensic layer to improve intrusion detection and prevention systems. In diverse attack scenarios， our technique has 3.5% higher accuracy， 4.3% higher precision， 8.5% higher recall， and 2.9% lower delay than previous models.

Erosive Wear Study of PPLSF/Glass Fiber Reinforced Hybrid Laminates

This work is focused to examine the erosive performance of hybrid Palmyra palm leaf stalk fiber(PPLSF)/glass polyester laminate against solid particle bombardment.A hand lay-up method was adopted for the fabricating four piles of five distinct laminates with different stacking order glass and PPLSF *** them,one group of pure PPLSF and pure E-glass laminates were *** hybrid laminates were exposed to high speed stream of solid sand particle at three distinct impact velocities(48,70 and 82 m/s)and four different angles of impingement(30°,45°,60°and 90°).The effect of particle velocity,angle of impingement and stacking order on both wear rate and efficiency were *** experimental assessment reveals a significant improvement in erosive wear resistance properties due to hybridization of PPLSF with ***,the laminates with PPLSF layer as skin and glass as core layer exhibited better erosive wear resistance properties than other types of ***,a maximum value of erosion at lower velocity(48 m/s)is also noticed at 45°impingement ***,at high velocity of impact 70 m/s and 82 m/s,the maximum rate of erosion has been shifted from 45°impact angle to 60°impact *** alternation of this semi-ductile character to semi-brittle character is evidenced by analyzing the experimental *** to justify the mode of erosion,the eroded surface samples were inspected by scanning electron microscope(SEm).
