An electrochemical technique has been introduced and applied to fabricate superconducting mgB2 films in m.l.en salts. mgCl2, mg（BO2）2, NaCl, and KCl were used as electrolyte, graphite was used as the anode, and copper was used as the cathode, respectively. X-ray diffraction （XRD） analysis was chosen to investigate the phase composition and crystallinity of the films at different electrolysis temperatures. Stan- dard four-probe technique and SQUID were applied to investigate the temperature dependence of resistance （R-T） properties and magnetic properties of the films, respectively. The results indicate that mgB2 films have been fabricated on the copper cathodes, and superconducting transition takes place close to 50 K.

The Schrodinger cat state produced differently in two directions is anticipated to be a critical quantum resource in quantum information *** exploring the interplay between quantum nonreciprocity and topology in a one-dimensional microcavity array,we obtain the Schrodinger cat state(a pure quantum state)in a chosen direction at the edge cavity,whereas a classical state in the other *** nonreciprocal generation of the cat state originates from the topologically protected chiralitymode excitation in the nontrivial phase,but in the trivial phase,the nonreciprocal generation of cat state ***,our proposal is switchable by tuning the parameters so that a topological phase transition ***,the obtained cat state has nonreciprocal high fidelity,nonclassicality,and quantum coherence,which are sufficient to be used in various one-way quantum technologies,e.g.,invisible quantum sensing,noise-tolerant quantum computing,and chiral quantum *** work provides a general approach to control quantum nonreciprocities with the topological effect,which substantially broadens the fields of nonreciprocal photonics and topological physics.

The poor corrosion and wear resistances of mg alloys seriously limit their potential applications in various *** conventional epoxy coating easily forms many intrinsic defects during the solidification process,which cannot provide sufficient *** the current study,we design a double-layer epoxy composite coating on mg alloy with enhanced anti-corrosion/wear properties,via the spin-assisted assem.l. *** outer layer is functionalized graphene(FG)in waterborne epoxy resin(WEP)and the inner layer is Ce-based conversion(Ce)*** FG sheets can be homogeneously dispersed within the epoxy matrix to fill the intrinsic defects and improve the barrier *** Ce film connects the outer layer with the substrate,showing the transition *** corrosion rate of Ce/WEP/FG composite coating is 2131 times lower than that of bare mg alloy,and the wear rate is decreased by~90%.The improved corrosion resistance is attributed to the labyrinth effect(hindering the penetration of corrosive medium)and the obstruction of galvanic coupling *** synergistic effect derived from the FG sheet and blocking layer exhibits great potential in realizing the improvement of m.l.i-functional integration,which will open up a new avenue for the development of novel composite protection coatings of mg alloys.

Following our earlier work on tomographic reconstruction of the magnetosheath soft X-ray emissions with superposed epoch analysis of many images recorded from a single spacecraft we now explore the instantaneous reconstruction of the magnetosheath and magnetopause using a few images recorded sim.l.aneously from a few *** work is motivated by the prospect of possibly having two or three soft X-ray imagers in space in the coming years,and that many phenomena which occur at the magnetopause boundary,such as reconnection events and pressure pulse responses,do not lend themselves as well to superposed epoch *** the reconstruction is successful-which we demonstrate in this paper that it can be-this collection of imagers can be used to reconstruct the magnetosheath and magnetopause from a single image from each spacecraft,allowing for high time resolution *** this paper we explore the reconstruction using,two,three,and four *** show that the location of the subsolar point of the magnetopause can be determined with just two satellites,and that volume emissions of soft X-rays,and the shape of the boundary,can be reconstructed using three or more satellites.

In two recent papers,approximate solutions for compact non-axisymmetric contact problems of homogeneous and power-law graded elastic bodies have been suggested,which provide explicit analytical relations for the force–approach relation,the size and the shape of the contact area,as well as for the pressure distribution *** solutions were derived for profiles,which only slightly deviate from the axisymmetric *** the present paper,they undergo an extensive testing and validation by comparison of solutions with a great variety of profile shapes with numerical solutions obtained by the fast Fourier transform(FFT)-assisted boundary element method(BEm).Exam.l.s are given with quite significant deviations from axial symmetry and show surprisingly good agreement with numerical solutions.

The generation of ultrashort high-power light sources in the mid-infrared(mid-IR)to terahertz(THz)range is of interest for applications in a number of fields,from fundamental research to biology and *** conventional laser technology,photon deceleration in plasma wakes provides an alternative approach to the generation of ultrashort mid-IR or THz ***,we present a photon deceleration scheme for the efficient generation of ultrashort mid-IR or THz pulses by using an intense driver laser pulse with a relatively short wavelength and a signal laser pulse with a relatively long *** signal pulse trails the driver pulse with an appropriate time delay such that it sits at the front of the second wake bubble that is driven by the driver *** to its relatively long wavelength,the signal pulse will be subjected to a large gradient of the refractive index in the plasma wake ***,the photon deceleration in the plasma wake becomes faster and more efficient for signal pulses with longer *** greatly enhances the capacity and efficiency of photon deceleration in the generation of ultrashort high-power light sources in the long-wavelength IR and THz spectral ranges.

This paper investigates the consensus control of m.l.i-agent systems(mASs) with constrained input using the dynamic event-triggered mechanism(ETm).Consider the mASs with sm.l.-scale networks where a centralized dynamic ETm with global information of the mASs is first ***,a distributed dynamic ETm which only uses local information is developed for the mASs with large-scale *** is shown that the semi-global consensus of the mASs can be achieved by the designed bounded control protocol where the Zeno phenomenon is eliminated by a designable minimum inter-event *** addition,it is easier to find a trade-off between the convergence rate and the minimum inter-event time by an adjustable ***,the results are extended to regional consensus of the mASs with the bounded control *** sim.l.tions show the effectiveness of the proposed approach.

This paper considers the problem of estimating unknown sparse time-varying signals for stochastic dynamic *** deal with the challenges of extensive sparsity,we resort to the compressed sensing method and propose a compressed Kalman filter(KF)*** algorithm first compresses the original high-dimensional sparse regression vector via the sensing matrix and then obtains a KF estimate in the compressed low-dimensional ***,the original high-dimensional sparse signals can be well recovered by a reconstruction *** ensure stability and establish upper bounds on the estimation errors,we introduce a compressed excitation condition without imposing independence or stationarity on the system signal,and therefore suitable for feedback *** further present the performance of the compressed KF ***,we show that the mean square compressed tracking error matrix can be approximately calculated by a linear deterministic difference matrix equation,which can be readily evaluated,analyzed,and ***,a numerical exam.l. demonstrates that our algorithm outperforms the standard uncompressed KF algorithm and other compressed algorithms for estimating high-dimensional sparse signals.

modeling the earth's fluid and elastic response to the m.l.ing of the glaciers of the last ice age is the most direct way to infer the earth's radial viscosity ***,we compare two methods for calculating the viscoelastic response to surface *** one,the elastic equation of motion is converted to a viscoelastic equation using the Correspondence *** the other,elastic deformation is added to the viscous flow as isostatic adjustment *** two modeling methods predict adjustment histories that are different enough to potentially impact the interpretation of the observed glacial isostatic adjustment(GIA).The differences arise from buoyancy and whether fluid displacements are subjected to hydrostatic *** methods agree if they use the same equations and boundary *** origin of the differences is determined by varying the boundary conditions and pre-stress application.
