In vitro antibacterial and free radical scavenging activity of green hull of Juglans regia

Abstract Antioxidant supplements from plants are vital to count the oxidative damage in cells. We assessed the antioxidants and antibacterial activity of green hull of Juglans regia in this study. According to our results the maximum antibacterial activity was observed in ethanolic extract when compared to other extract. So, the ethanolic extract was studied for antioxidant activity which exhibited high antiradical activity against DPPH, hydroxyl, and nitric oxide radicals. In conclusion, green hull of J. regia showed strong reducing power activity and total antioxidant capacity. The results justify the therapeutic application of plant in the indigenous system of medicine.

Wireless Sensor Networks are a group of sensors with inadequate power sources that are installed in a particular region to gather information from the *** energy-efﬁcient data gathering methods in large-scale Wireless Sensor Networks(WSN)is one of the most difﬁcult areas of *** every sensor node has aﬁnite amount of *** power is the most signiﬁcant source in the *** is a well-known technique for enhan-cing the power feature in *** the proposed method multi-Swarm optimiza-tion based on a Genetic Algorithm and Adaptive Hierarchical clustering-based routing protocol are used for enhancing the network’s lifespan and routing *** using distributed data transmission modiﬁcation,an adaptive hier-archical clustering-based routing algorithm for power consumption is presented to ensure continuous coverage of the entire *** begin,a hierarchical cluster-ing-based routing protocol is presented in terms of balancing node energy *** multi-Swarm optimization(mSO)based Genetic Algorithms are proposed to select an efﬁcient Cluster Head(CH).It also improves the network’s longevity and optimizes the *** a result of the study’sﬁndings,the pro-posed mSO-Genetic Algorithm with Hill climbing(GAHC)is effective,as it increases the number of clusters created,average energy expended,lifespan com-putation reduces average packet loss,and end-to-end delay.

Quantum Chemical Studies on the Corrosion Inhibition of mild Steel by Piperidin-4-One Derivatives in 1 m H<sub>3</sub>PO<sub>4</sub>

The corrosion inhibition properties of 2,6-diphenylpiperidin-4-one (DPP) (1A) and 2,6-diphenyldihydro-2H-thiopyran-4(3H)-one (DPDT) (1B) for mild steel in 1 m phosphoric acid were studied using weight loss, potentiodynamic polarization and electrochemical impedance spectroscopic techniques. The effect of temperature on the corrosion behavior of mild steel has been examined in the temperature range 303 - 328 K. The inhibition efficiency increases with increasing inhibitor concentration but decreases with increasing temperature. Potentiodynamic polarization studies indicated the mixed nature of inhibitors. The adsorption of the inhibitors on mild steel surface obeyed the Langmuir adsorption isotherms. The density functional theory (DFT) at the B3LYP/6- 31G (d) basis set level was performed on 1A and 1B to investigate the correlation between molecular structure and the corresponding inhibition efficiency (%). The quantum chemical parameters such as EHOmO, ELUmO, the energy gap (E), hardness (η), softness (S), dipole moment (μ), electron affinity (A), ionization potential (I), the absolute electronegativity (χ), the fraction of electron transferred (N), electrophilicity index (ω), the back-donation (EBack-donation) and mulliken population analysis have been calculated.
