Ba-REE fluorcarbonate minerals from a carbonatite dyke at Bayan Obo, Inner mongolia, North China, are first reported in this contribution, in which chemical composition, rare earth element (REE) patterns, and intergrowth relationships for these minerals have been investigated. Syntactic intergrowth or syntaxy between cebaite and cordylite, as well as cordylite and huanghoite were observed. This syntactic texture resulted from the variation of chemical composition of crystallizing agents for those minerals that crystallized directly from carbonatite magmas. It is worth noting that REE patterns of the Ba-REE fluorcarbonate minerals in the dyke are similar to those of the corresponding minerals from the ore hosted dolomite marble of the Bayan Obo giant REE-Nb-Fe mineral deposit, which implies their relation in origin.

对白云鄂博稀土矿床附近的富方解石岩墙进行了阴极射线发光分析、x 射线萤光分析和电子探针分析。结果表明,该岩墙为方解石质的火成碳酸岩。其矿物组成有含锶锰的方解石、镁钠铁闪石、磷灰石、烧绿石、钾长石和黑云母。岩墙两侧有强烈稀士矿化,磷灰石和环带独居石较为发育,并经受多次次生蚀变作用。岩墙一侧的混合岩经受霓长岩化作用,变为镁钠铁闪石-钠长石岩石。白云鄂博的沉积白云岩(H8)主要由含锰、锶、稀土的铁质白云石所组成,并含有磁铁矿、磷灰石、独居石、萤石和带云母。通过微量元素和同位素分析结果看出,火成碳酸岩岩墙和沉积白云岩相似。这些证据支持了 H8是白云岩化火成碳酸岩中的凝灰岩观点。白云鄂博稀土矿化也显示出与火成碳酸岩墙的地球化学属性的相似性,提供了它们在成因方面的相互关系。

Community batteries(CBs)are emerging to support and even enable energy communities and generally help consumers,especially space-constrained ones,to access potential techno-economic benefits from storage and support local grid ***,the economic viability of CB projects is often *** this regard,typical feasibility studies assess CB value for behind-the-meter(BTm)operation or whole-sale market participation,i.e.,front-of-meter(FOm).This work proposes a novel techno-economic operational framework that allows systematic assessment of the different options and introduces a two-meter architecture that co-optimizes both BTm and FOm benefits.A real CB project application in Australia is used to demonstrate the significant two-meter co-optimization opportunities that could enhance the business case of CB and energy communities by multi-service provision and value stacking.

重点解剖了一条距白云鄂博超大型REE Nb Fe矿床东矿北东方向 2km、切割白云鄂博群H1及H3岩性段的细粒方解石碳酸岩岩墙的碳和氧同位素地球化学特征。结果表明 ,碳酸岩的碳同位素组成变化范围较小 (δ13C值为 - 6 .6‰～ - 4 .6‰ ) ,与正常地幔碳δ13C值 - 5± 2‰一致 ;而氧同位素组成变化范围较大 (δ18O值为 11.9‰～ 17.7‰ ) ,显著高于地幔的δ18O值 5.7± 1.0‰ ,表明碳酸岩浆在结晶过程中或之后曾与低温热液流体发生了同位素交换。碳酸岩墙中白云石与方解石之间的碳和氧同位素分馏均小于 0‰ ,处于不平衡状态 ,说明该碳酸岩墙中的白云石与方解石并非同成因矿物 ,白云石可能为次生成因的。

The joint European Space Agency and Chinese Academy of Sciences Solar wind magnetosphere Ionosphere Link Explorer(SmIle)mission will explore global dynamics of the magnetosphere under varying solar wind and interplanetary magnetic field conditions,and simultaneously monitor the auroral response of the Northern Hemisphere *** these large-scale responses with medium and fine-scale measurements at a variety of cadences by additional ground-based and space-based instruments will enable a much greater scientific impact beyond the original goals of the SmIle ***,we describe current community efforts to prepare for SmIle,and the benefits and context various experiments that have explicitly expressed support for SmIle can offer.A dedicated group of international scientists representing many different experiment types and geographical locations,the Ground-based and Additional Science Working Group,is facilitating these *** include constructing an online SmIle Data Fusion Facility,the discussion of particular or special modes for experiments such as coherent and incoherent scatter radar,and the consideration of particular observing strategies and spacecraft *** anticipate growing interest and community engagement with the SmIle mission,and we welcome novel ideas and insights from the solar-terrestrial community.

Background There is increasing epidemiological evidence supporting the association between onchocerciasis and seizures, reinforcing the concept of onchocerciasis-associated epilepsy (OAE). The aim of this paper is to provide an update on the new knowledge about OAE and to propose recommendations to the World Health Organization how to address this public health *** text During the 2nd International Workshop on OAE held on 19-21 September, 2023, in Antwerp, Belgium, participants recognised OAE as a substantial yet neglected public health problem, particularly in areas of sub-Saharan Africa where onchocerciasis remains hyperendemic. Evidence from prospective population-based studies suggest that strengthening onchocerciasis elimination efforts leads to a significant reduction of OAE incidence. There is a need to validate an OAE case definition to estimate the burden of disease and identify onchocerciasis-endemic areas requiring intensification of onchocerciasis elimination programmes and integration of epilepsy care. It is expected that raising awareness about OAE will boost the population uptake of ivermectin. The implementation of a community-based epilepsy treatment programme offering free anti-seizure medications (ASms) has shown high effectiveness in reducing the frequency of seizures and improving the overall quality of life of people with *** To reduce OAE burden, enhanced collaboration between onchocerciasis and mental health programmes at community, national, and international levels is required. Urgent efforts are needed to ensure the uninterrupted provision of free ASms in onchocerciasis-endemic areas. Furthermore, OAE should be included in the quantification of the onchocerciasis disease burden.
