Left-turn-across-path-from-opposite-direction(LTAP/OD)conflicts are one of the most common crash types at *** research aims to reveal the general and dynamic information about the conflict for the most relevant street layouts for each conflict configuration of the LTAP/OD accidents involving passenger cars,motorcycles and *** analysis was based on 276 LTAP/OD 157 car-to-motorcycle conflicts and 75 car-to-Ebike *** accidents belonging to the three types were observed at the wo accidents collected by the China in-depth accident study(CIDAS 2011-2019).The LTAP/OD accidents include 44 car-to-car *** layout without a green belt separating the oncoming lane and no offset lane between the turning car and the oncoming traffic,the main distance between both vehicles in the beginning of the critical situation being about four metres,occurring in the clear day with no rain and at junctions lighted either because of daylight or based on street *** terms of the turning car initial speed,the range is 15-30 km/h for most car-to-car and car-to-motorcycle accidents,but 30-40 km/h for most car-to-Ebike *** for the collision speed,this range is between10 km/h and 20km/h for car-to-car and car-to-Ebike accidents and between10 km/h and passenger cars,the maximum longitudinal distance is 60 m for both types of accidents and the maximum lateral distance ranges 25 km/h for car-to-motorcycle *** on the distributions of objective motorcycles’and Ebikes'positions in collisions with from -20 m to 20m and from -15 m to 15 m,respectively.

The 4m4E analysis is a type of root-cause analysis that can multilaterally pinpoint the trigger factors of an accident or disaster using its analytic capabilities and can clarify various countermeasures against each trigger *** study aims to reduce the number of vessel accidents and disasters involving seafarers by improving the practical use of 4m4E *** accidents or disasters involving seafarers,related to a mooring line,sometimes result in a fatality;therefore,this research area has attracted international *** consideration of this,we devised an analysis method for accidents involving a mooring line by adding prediction to the 4ms of 4m4E,having first extracted the potential causes of an accident through *** 4m4E+P analysis could obtain additional trigger factors that were not revealed in the 4m4E ***,a measure of adopting these newly acquired trigger factors was *** addition,it is thought that 4m4E+P analysis can reduce the risk of vessel accidents and disasters involving seafarers.

Single-photon-level light storage with distributed Rydberg excitations in cold atoms

We present an improved version of the superatom(SA)model to examine the slow-light dynamics of a few-photons signal field in cold Rydberg atoms with van der Waals(vdW)interactions.A main feature of this version is that it promises consistent estimations on total Rydberg excitations based on dynamic equations of SAs or *** consider two specific cases in which the incident signal field contains more photons with a smaller detuning or less photons with a larger detuning so as to realize the single-photon-level light *** is found that vdW interactions play a significant role even for the slow-light dynamics of a single-photon signal field as distributed Rydberg excitations are inevitable in the picture of dark-state ***,the stored(retrieved)signal field exhibits a clearly asymmetric(more symmetric)profile because its leading and trailing edges undergo different(identical)traveling journeys,and higher storage/retrieval efficiencies with well preserved profiles apply only to weaker and well detuned signal *** findings are crucial to understand the nontrivial interplay of single-photon-level light storage and distributed Rydberg excitations.

We study light transmission and reflection from an integrated microresonator device,formed by a circular microresonator coupled to a bus waveguide,with an embedded S-shaped additional crossover waveguide element that selectively couples counter-propagating modes in a propagation-direction-dependent *** overall shape of the device resembles a“taiji”symbol,hence its *** Lorentz reciprocity is preserved in transmission,the peculiar geometry allows us to exploit the non-Hermitian nature of the system to obtain high-contrast unidirectional reflection with negligible reflection for light incident in one direction and a significant reflection in the opposite direction.

We report results and modelling of an experiment performed at the Target Area West Vulcan laser facility,aimed at investigating laser±plasma interaction in conditions that are of interest for the shock ignition scheme in inertial confinement fusion(ICF),that is,laser intensity higher than 10^(16) W/cm^(2) impinging on a hot(T>1 keV),inhomogeneous and long scalelength pre-formed *** show a significant stimulated Raman scattering(SRS)backscattering(;%-20%of laser energy)driven at low plasma densities and no signatures of two-plasmon decay(TPD)/SRS driven at the quarter critical density *** are satisfactorily reproduced by an analytical model accounting for the convective SRS growth in independent laser speckles,in conditions where the reflectivity is dominated by the contribution from the most intense speckles,where SRS becomes *** and kinetic simulations well reproduce the onset of SRS at low plasma densities in a regime strongly affected by non-linear Landau damping and by filamentation of the most intense laser *** absence of TPD/SRS at higher densities is explained by pump depletion and plasma smoothing driven by *** prevalence of laser coupling in the low-density profile justifies the low temperature measured for hot electrons(7-12 keV),which is well reproduced by numerical simulations.

The Impact of Beauveria bassiana, Bacillus thuringiensis （Bt） Spray, Trichogramma pretiosum and Spinosad on the Lepidoptera： Crambidae, European Corn Borer （Ostrinia nubilalis）

The research cxamined the effects of microbial and novel insecticidal control strategies and also Irichogramma pretiosum on the I,epidoptera： Crambidae, the European corn borer （ECB）, （Ostrinia nubilalis）. The treatments included ~ino^d, from bacteria the entomopathogenic fungus Beauveria bassiana, the egg parasitoid Trichogramma pretiosum, and foliar applied Bt spray, and t^vo combinations Bearveria bassiana plus Bt spray and Trichogramma pretiosum and spinosad. The infestations by the European corn borer larvae on stalks of corn were very＂ severe in all the control treatments both 2006 and 2007. The microbial treatments caused various levels of European corn borer mortality. In all the parameters there was a significant difference between the control and other treatments with a P 〈 0.00 l. In this research, treatment with spinosad emerged as the most effective biological agent in the control of the European corn borer. The treatments had no significant effects on the relative abundance and composition of non-target arthropods （P 〉 0.05）. This research is relevant in boosting underutilized control strategies and increasing stakeholder adoption of integrated pest management practices and thereby＇ reducing the use of conventional insecticides especially for orgamc thrmers. This is very important especially in certain countries where the commumities are skeptical about consuming transgenic crops.

In this work,the phase relationship of mgO-ino-PO ternary system have been systematically investigated via solid-state reactions,leading to discover a new ternary compound *** analysis based on powder x-ray diffraction data is implemented to determine the crystal structure of this *** structure-,composition-,and temperature-dependent photoluminescent properties of lanthanide-doped mgInPO phosphors are investigated by means of structural analysis,photoluminescence excitation(PLE) and emission(PL)spectrum,decay lifetime,low-temperature and high-temperature luminescence,and chromaticity coordinate.
