Electronic patient data gives many advantages,but also new *** may delay procedures like acquiring patient *** deadlock resolution solutions introduce uncertainty due to inaccurate transaction *** computing-based solutions have been developed to solve this *** a single framework,ambiguous,vague,incomplete,and inconsistent transaction attribute information has received minimal *** work presented in this paper employed type-2 neutrosophic logic,an extension of type-1 neutrosophic logic,to handle uncertainty in real-time deadlock-resolving *** proposed method is structured to reflect multiple types of knowledge and relations among transactions’features that include validation factor degree,slackness degree,degree of deadline-missed transaction based on the degree of membership of truthiness,degree ofmembership of indeterminacy,and degree ofmembership of ***,the footprint of uncertainty(FOU)for truth,indeterminacy,and falsity represents the level of uncertainty that exists in the value of a grade of *** employed a distributed real-time transaction processing simulator(DRTTPS)to conduct the simulations and conducted experiments using the benchmark Pima Indians diabetes dataset(PIDD).As the results showed,there is an increase in detection rate and a large drop in rollback rate when this new strategy is *** performance of Type-2 neutrosophicbased resolution is better than the Type-1 neutrosophic-based approach on the execution ratio *** improvement rate has reached 10%to 20%,depending on the number of arrived transactions.

Study of Sintering Behaviour and Electrical Conductivity of Cr-Zn-Fe-O System

A series of chemical composition based on Cr, Fe and O with Zn as a partially substituting ion has been prepared in the general formula Zn//xCr//1// minus //xFe//2O by coprecipitation method using Nh//4Oh as the precipitating agent at ph equals 10.3. The prepared samples were identified by both thermal analysis (DTA and TGA) and X-ray diffraction. It was found that no single phase is obtained for any of the studied compositions but a mixture of different phases is observed, depending on the molar percentage of zinc ion substitution as well as on the sintering temperature. The temperature dependence of the electrical conductivity, sigma , of the prepared samples is plotted between 25 and 680 degree C. It was observed that the electrical conductivity increases with temperature for both samples with x equals 0.00 and 0.80 Zn ion content while it is nearly temperature independent for samples with intermediate Zn concentration x equals 0.2 and 0.5 mol fraction. The activation energy, E//a, calculated from the linear relation, lg sigma -1000/T for the final mixtures (sintered at 1300 degree C) was calculated. (Edited author abstract) 16 Refs.

Geology and rare-earth element geochemistry of highly evolved, molybdenite-bearing granitic plutons, Southeastern Desert, Egypt

The field relations, mineralogy, and major and trace elements (including REE analyses of whole-rock samples and minerals) of granites and their associated molybdenite + uranium mineralized aplites in Southeastern Desert, Egypt, have been studied. The granites are leucocratic and mostly peraluminous in nature with muscovite increasing at the expense of biotite. The chemical and mineralogical characteristics of the granitic rocks indicate that their melts originated from the LILE-enriched mantle wedge by partial melting and are contaminated by crustal melts, followed by thermogravitational processes. Leucogranites with higher Na2O/K2O ratios from Um Dargag and Um maiat crystallized under h2O-saturated equilibrium conditions in which the exsolved vapor continuously migrated away. The REE patterns of the granites studied are characterized by LREE enrichments and negative Eu anomalies. In comparison, the potassic aplites and the more sodic leucogranites are depleted in LREE, enriched in hREE and show more remarkable negative Eu anomalies. Allanite and monazite are the most important REE carriers in the granites. These minerals are strongly enriched in LREE, whereas fluorite and xenotime, which are more abundant in the aplites, are enriched in hREE. The average Lu/Ce ratio represents the fractionation trend with respect to hREE. It is 0.71 for radioactive fluorite, and it increases to 1.22 for non-radioactive fluorite. The high REE contents of molybdenite represent re-deposition of the mobilized mo and REE. Due to the strong control of accessory minerals, the REEs are of limited use in petrogenetic modelling of highly evolved granitic systems.

Awareness and knowledge about glaucoma among patients visiting the screening clinic in Jeddah Eye hospital,Saudi Arabia

AIm:To explore levels and determinants of awareness and knowledge about glaucoma among ***:This was a cross-sectional study that included adult patients from October to the end of December 2018.A semi-structured questionnaire was designed by the researchers to measure the levels of awareness and knowledge about 18 basic information about *** sheet was divided into 4 domains:types of glaucoma,risk factors,clinical features,and management.A knowledge score(KS,range=0-18)was calculated,with higher scores indicating higher ***:A total of 383 patients responded to the questionnaire,61.9%males,mean±SD age was 38.5±12.94 years old,and 61.6%had a university degree or *** them,6.3%and 23.2%reported personal and family history of glaucoma,*** most frequently reported source of information about glaucoma was another person with glaucoma(28.2%),followed by physicians(24.8%)and TV(19.6%).Knowledge by item ranged from 3.1%to 82.5%correctness rate,while KS showed mean=5.91 and median=5;and reliability testing of the knowledge scale showed Cronbach’s alpha=*** KS were found among respondents with higher educational level(P=0.036),diabetes history(P=0.025),and personal(Pmily(Phistory of ***:This study reveals low awareness and knowledge levels about glaucoma among the attendees of a local eye care hospital,where several misconceptions about disease risk factors,clinical features,and management are identified.

Simplified mathematical model of proton exchange membrane fuel cell based on horizon fuel cell stack

Objective:To assess the prevalence of malaria parasitemia in north-east Nigeria and to evaluate the measures for the prevention of ***:A village in north-eastern Nigeria was selected for the cross sectional study at the height of the rainy season in October 2011.A total of 550 inhabitants of a hamlet were recruited for this *** obtaining the consent individuals received a structured interview and were tested for malaria parasites in their blood *** testing positive for malaria were given a course of artemesinin-based combination therapy（ACT）.Results:A total of 497 inhabitants representing approximately 90 percent of the population participated:a quarter of the study group carried malaria parasitesexclusively Plasmodium falciparum（***）-representing a *** parasite rate（PfPR） of 24.5%.Besides,53/138 in the age group of 2 to hildren tested positive for *** representing a PfPR2-10 value of 38.4%.malaria control measures were used in just under a third（157/497） of this *** these measures 28/157（17.8%） still tested positive for ***:The malaria burden is overestimated for this region in north-east *** findings support an intermediate pattern of malaria *** 30%bed nets coverage for malaria control is well below the WhO estimates for 2011.

Five perovskite ceramics samples of Ba_(1-x)Er_(x)SnO_(3) with x=0.00,0.05,0.10,0.15,and 0.20 were synthesized using the conventional solid-state reaction *** prepared samples were characterized by X-ray diffraction(XRD),Fourier transforms infrared(FTIR),and UV-Vis *** shielding properties against ionizing radiation were also *** XRD analysis shows the perovskite cubic structure as the major phase in all *** FTIR reveals a distinctive band around 614-620 cm^(-1) ascribed to the antisymmetric O-Sn-O ***-Vis spectroscopy was used to determine the bandgap according to diffuse reflectance,and the results display a fixed enhancement in the bandgap from 3.2 to 3.3 eV for all ***-ray shielding properties of the synthesized samples were experimentally measured and compared with XCOm computational *** relative differences(Δ,%)between experimental and theo retical values are low and fall within the 0.446%-7.10%*** addition of Er leads to the enhanced density,neutron,and gamma shielding *** contrast,charged particles’shielding parameters gradually reduce with rising Er *** results suggest that Ba_(1-x)Er_(x)SnO_(3) samples can be used in different radiation shielding applications.

Junction properties and conduction mechanism of new terbium complexes with triethylene glycol ligand for potential application in organic electronic device

Terbium-picrate triethylene glycol（EO3-Tb-Pic） complex was prepared in thin film and single layer device structure of ITO/EO3-Tb-Pic/Al, using spin coating technique. The UV-Vis absorption spectroscopy analysis was performed to evaluate the electronic molecular transition of the complex. The optical band gap, Eg estimated from the Tauc model revealed that EO3-Tb-Pic thin film exhibited a direct transition with Eg of 2.70 eV. The electronic parameters of the ITO/EO3-Tb-Pic/Al device such as the ideality factor n, barrier height Φb, saturation current Io, and series resistance Rs, were extracted from the conventional lnI-V, Cheung＇s functions and Norde＇s method. It was found that the evaluated parameters calculated from Norde＇s and Cheung＇s methods were consistent with those calculated from the conventional I-V method. In the double logarithmic I-V plot, three distinct regions based on the slope were identified, and the conduction mechanisms were discussed and explained. The mobility, μ value was estimated from SCLC region as 2.58×10^–7 cm2/（V·s）. This newly obtained lanthanide complex may be potentially utilized in electronic devices.

Impact of the socioeconomic status on the severity and outcome of community-acquired pneumonia among Egyptian children: a cohort study

Background:Community-acquired pneumonia(CAP)is one of the five leading causes of death among children in developing countries,accounting for approximately three million deaths per *** of the modifiable risk factors of CAP may help to reduce the burden of this *** this study,the impact of the socioeconomic status(SES)on the severity and outcome of CAP among Egyptian children was ***:This was a prospective longitudinal cohort study which included 1,470 children diagnosed with CAP,aged two to 15 years(median age 5.4 years).The diagnosis of CAP was based on clinical and radiological findings.A structured questionnaire and the patients’medical records were used for the data *** subjects were divided into two groups:mild and severe *** and demographic variables were compared,and a multivariate logistic regression analysis was ***:The multivariate analysis showed that a low maternal education level(OR:3.8;95%CI:2.12-6.70;P=.0001),unavailability of adequate medical care(OR:3.1;95%CI:1.99-4.88;P=.0001),a low family income(OR:2.2;95%CI:0.99-4.78;P=.047),and parents’smoking habits(OR:2.0;95%CI:1.15-3.55;P=.014)were significant independent predictive risk factors for severe CAP among Egyptian ***:Public health measures against these socio-demographic risk factors should be identified as priorities in order to help reduce the disease burden of deaths from severe CAP among Egyptian children.
