This paper presents a novel Recursive Least Square adaptive method based on Genetic Algorithm （GA） to null out the unwanted users/interferers using phased antenna *** in this paper GA is used for optimisation of beam pattern thereby having a capability of forming deep null in the direction of interferers by minimising the total output power of the array.A uniform linear phased antenna array considered is a group of 8 antenna elements equally spaced at a distance of λ/2 whose outputs are added together to provide a single *** architecture of phased antenna array is such that half of the antenna elements in the array are operating as conjugate of the other half antenna *** objective of the design effort is to determine an optimum adaptive weight vector which effectively suppresses the *** the implementation of this approach in this Paper,the GA begins with the population of 8 chromosomes through 50 iterations to create a new generation after going through all the processes of selection,crossover and *** new population created is then used to find the phase angle after decoding and ultimately weight vector "W" is calculated from vector containing these nulling *** weight vector updation can be achieved by various methods such as using optimum filter which maximises the Signal to Interference plus Noise Ratio （SINR） or the spatial matched filter where SNR is *** problem of nulling out the interferer by optimum filter is that closely spaced users are not nulled out properly by forming deep null in the direction of *** order to resolve this problem,novel method of RLS （Recursive Least Square） based GA is used where we have combined adaptive beam-forming approach with GA which was able to maximise the SINR even if the users are operating from within very small angular range of 5ο to 10ο.In this case Weight vector update is obtained by adaptive method used for RLS *** process is repeated for 2

Spinel ferrites exhibit exceptional magnetic properties,making them a distinctive class of magnetic *** sol-gel technique was utilized for the synthesis of spinel ferrites with the chemical formula Co0.6Sr0.4CexFe2-xO4. Characterizing the patient experience during neoadjuvant therapy for pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma:A qualitative study

molecular dynamics simulation of nanoscale surface diffusion of heterogeneous adatoms clusters

molecular dynamics simulation employing the embedded atom method potential is utilized to investigate nanoscale surface diffusion mechanisms of binary heterogeneous adatoms clusters at 300 K, 500 K, and 700 K. Surface diffusion of heterogeneous adatoms clusters can be vital for the binary island growth on the surface and can be useful for the formation of alloy-based thin film surface through atomic exchange process. The results of the diffusion process show that at 300 K, the diffusion of small adatoms clusters shows hopping, sliding, and shear motion; whereas for large adatoms clusters（hexamer and above）, the diffusion is negligible. At 500 K, small adatoms clusters, i.e., dimer, show almost all possible diffusion mechanisms including the atomic exchange process; however no such exchange is observed for adatoms clusters greater than dimer. At 700 K, the exchange mechanism dominates for all types of clusters, where Zr adatoms show maximum tendency and Ag adatoms show minimum or no tendency toward the exchange process. Separation and recombination of one or more adatoms are also observed at 500 K and 700 K. The Ag adatoms also occupy pop-up positions over the adatoms clusters for short intervals. At 700 K, the vacancies are also generated in the vicinity of the adatoms cluster,vacancy formation, filling, and shifting can be observed from the results.

Well-differentiated neuroendocrine tumors(NETs)are globally increasing in prevalence and the liver is the most common site of *** liver metastases(NELm)are heterogeneous in clinical presentation and ***,recent advances in diagnostic techniques and therapeutic strategies have improved the multidisciplinary management of this challenging *** feasible,surgical resection of NELm offers the best long-term *** indications for hepatic resection include performance status acceptable for major liver surgery,grade 1 or 2 tumors,absence of extrahepatic disease,adequate size and function of future liver remnant,and feasibility of resecting>90%of *** therapies including concomitant liver ablation are generally safe when used appropriately and may expand the number of patients eligible for *** patients with synchronous resectable NELm,resection of the primary either in a staged or combined fashion is *** patients who are not surgical candidates,liver-directed therapies such as transarterial embolization,chemoembolization,and radioembolization can provide locoregional control and improve symptoms of carcinoid *** systemic therapy options also exist for patients with advanced or progressive *** research efforts are needed to identify novel biomarkers that will define the optimal indications for and sequencing of treatments to be delivered in a personalized fashion.

Synthesis of yttrium and cerium doped ZnO nanoparticles as highly inexpensive and stable photocatalysts for hydrogen evolution

Yttrium and cerium co-doped ZnO nanoparticles were synthesized by combustion route and characterized using X-ray diffraction(XRD),scanning electron microscopy(SEm),Brunauer-Emmett-Teller(BET),energy dispersive spectroscopy(EDS),X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS),UV-visible diffuse reflectance spectroscopy(UV-vis DRS),photoluminescence(PL)and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy(EIS)*** introduction of yttrium ions has efficiently increased the relative percentage of Ce^(3+)ions in *** and cerium co-doped ZnO shows efficient photo activity for hydrogen evolution(10.61 mmol/((g·h))higher than previously reported optimal value for rare earth codoped ZnO *** remarkably increased hydrogen evolution can be ascribed to the synergy between electronic anchoring effect of Y^(3+)/Y^(2+)and Ce^(4+)/Ce^(3+)redox *** report presents new idea for the synthesis of efficient photocatalyst using economical route and ion anchoring *** hydrogen evolution was also tested using Na_(2)S and Na_(2)SO_(3)as electron donors under visible light *** synthesized photocatalysts also exhibit high stability.

Performance of Islamic and conventional stock indices:empirical evidence from an emerging economy

Background:This study aims to investigate the extent to which the conditional volatilities of both Shari’ah compliant stock and conventional stock are related to those of interest rate and exchange rate in the emerging economy of ***:We used KmI 30 and KSE 100 indices for Islamic and conventional stock for the period of July 2008 to November *** employed Generalized Autoregressive Conditional Heteroskedastic in the mean(GARCH-m)*** framework relaxes constancy assumption of classical linear regression(CLRm)model and allows exchange rate and interest rate volatility to evolve over *** GARCHm framework also reveals results about risk-return trade-off in the context of both Islamic and conventional stock ***:The findings show positive and statistically significant effect of interest rate volatility on KSE-100,whereas KmI-30 remains unaffected by the *** rate volatility is found to be significant for both conventional and Islamic *** relationship of risk coefficient(γ)and stocks returns,as expected,is positive and statistically significant for both KmI-30 and *** result is consistent with the theory of risk-return *** results of parametric t-test show significant difference between returns of both *** implies that Shari’ah compliant stock index(KmI-30)of Pakistan underperforms its conventional ***:By using different performance measures(Sharp ratio,Jensen alpha,Treynor ratio),this study also investigates the hypothesis that Islamic stock index has inferior performance compared with unscreened conventional counterparts due to availability of a smaller investment universe,increased monitoring costs,and limited diversification.
