In this article we introduce the vector valued sequence space m(E k , φ, Λ), associated with the multiplier sequence Λ = (λ k ) of non-zero complex numbers, and the terms of the sequence are chosen from the seminormed spaces E k , seminormed by f k for all k ∈ N. This generalizes the sequence space m(φ) introduced and studied by Sargent[10]. We study some of its properties like solidity, completeness, and obtain some inclusion results. We also characterize the multiplier problem and obtain the corresponding spaces dual to m(E k , φ, Λ). We prove some general results too.

Distribution Pattern of Vascular Plant Species of mountains in Nepal and their Fate Against Global Warming

This study aims to find the altitudinal distribution pattern of vascular plant species reported from high mountain of Nepal(manang) along the whole Himalayan elevation gradient, and evaluate their fate against climate change. Data was gathered from multiple sources, field investigations, literatures, and herbarium specimens. Altogether, 303 vascular plant species were reported from manang. We used a published data to calculate distribution range of each species by interpolating between its upper and lower elevation limits. The relationship between elevation and species richness is elucidated by generalized linear model. The consequence of global warming upon manang's vascular plant species was estimated based on projected temperature change for next century and adiabatic lapse rate along the elevation gradient of the Himalayas. The vascular plant species richness has a unimodel relationship with elevation along the whole elevation gradient of Nepal as well as in three biogeographical regions of Nepal. Vascular plants of manang are found distributed from low land Terai to high alpine regions of Nepal and their elevation distribution range varies from 200 to 4700 m. Out of 303 vascular plants of manang, only seven species might be affected if temperature increase by 1.5°C, whereas at least 70 species will be affected with 5°C temperature increased. However, the majority of species(233 species) have wider distribution range(> 1000 m) and more than 5°C temperature tolerance range, thus they are likely to be less affected from global warming by the end of 21 st century.

The objective of the present work is to investigate the effect of various sputtering parameters such as nitrogen flow rate, deposition time and sputtering pressure on structural, wettability and optical properties of titanium oxynitride films deposited on glass substrate by reactive magnetron sputtering. The X-ray diffraction graphs of titanium oxynitride films show evolution of various textures of TiO=N and TiN phases with increasing nitrogen flow rate and deposition time, but an increase in sputtering pressure from 4.0 to 8.0 Pa results in decline of various textures observed for TiO=Ny and TiN phases. The stress and strain calculated by sin2~ method are compressive, which decrease with increasing nitrogen flow rate from 55 to I00 sccm （standard cubic centimeter per minute） and increase with increasing deposition time from 80 to I40 min due to atomic penning effect and increasing thickness of the deposited films. The titanium oxynitride films have contact angle values above 90 deg., indicating that films are hydrophobic. The maximum contact angle of I09.1 deg. is observed at deposition time of 140 min. This water repellent property can add value to potential protective, wear and corrosion resistant application of titanium oxynitride films. The band gap decreases from 1.98 to 1.83 eV as nitrogen flow rate is increased from 55 to 100 sccm; it decreases from 1.93 to 1.79 eV as deposition time is increased from 80 to 140 min as more nitrogen incorporation results in higher negative potential of valence band N2p orbital. But it increases from 2.26 to 2.34 eV for titanium oxynitride films as sputtering pressure increases from 4.0 to 8.0 Pa.

The transcription factor p53 plays pivotal roles in numerous biological processes, including the suppression of tumours. The rich availability of biophysical data aimed at understanding its structure–function relationships since the 1990s has enabled the application of a variety of computational modelling techniques towards the establishment of mechanistic models. Together they have provided deep insights into the structure, mechanics, energetics, and dynamics of p53. In parallel, the observation that mutations in p53 or changes in its associated pathways characterize several human cancers has resulted in a race to develop therapeutic modulators of p53, some of which have entered clinical trials. This review describes how computational modelling has played key roles in understanding structural-dynamic aspects of p53, formulating hypotheses about domains that are beyond current experimental investigations, and the development of therapeutic molecules that target the p53 pathway.

Field observations were carried out between 2002 and 2005 on bio-ecology of white grubs infesting teak （Tectona grandis Linn. f.） seedlings at Ramdongari Forest Nursery, Forest Development Corporation of maharashtra, Nagpur in central India. The study collected the data required for an integrated pest management strategy against the white grubs. The species damaging teak seedlings were Holotrichia rustica （Burmeister） and H. mucida Gyllenhal. The beetles （adults） of both these species began to emerge just after the pre-monsoon showers and when the relative humidity had risen rapidly over several days, but before the first monsoon rains. While the adults fed and mated on naturally growing bushes of Ziziphus jujuba, Z mauritiana, Z. xylopyra, Acacia leucophloea and A. catechu immediately after the emergence from the teak beds in the nursery, the immature stages （grubs） of both species fed on roots of the teak seedling, leading to plant death. This is the first report of （i） damage caused to teak seedlings by grubs ofH. rustica and H. mucida, and （ii） of *** and Z. mauritiana being hosts for the beetles ofH. mucida and H, rustica. It is also the first detailed report on the field bio-ecology of the H. rustica and H. mucida as major pests ofteak. White grubs are among the toughest-to-manage pests of economic importance and information presented here on the pest incidence and damage ofH. rustica and H. mucida is important to researchers and nursery field managers for the management of these pests on teak.

Powdery mildew(Pm)caused by Podosphaera aphanis is a major fungal disease of cultivated *** Resistance Locus O(mLO)is a gene family described for having conserved seven-transmembrane *** loss-of-function in specific mLO genes can confer durable and broad resistance against Pm ***,the genomic structure and potential role of mLO genes for Pm resistance have not been characterized yet in the octoploid cultivated *** the present study,mLO gene families were characterized in four diploid progenitor species(Fragaria vesca,***,***,and ***)and octoploid cultivated(Fragaria×ananassa)strawberry,and potential sources of mLO-mediated susceptibility were *** mLO sequences were identified in *** and 68 identified in F.×*** analysis divided diploid and octoploid strawberry mLO genes into eight different clades,in which three FvemLO(mLO10,mLO17,and mLO20)and their twelve orthologs of FamLO were grouped together with functionally characterized mLO genes conferring Pm *** number variations revealed differences in mLO composition among homoeologous chromosomes,supporting the distinct origin of each subgenome during the evolution of octoploid *** genomic sequence and structural variations in candidate FamLO genes revealed their potential role associated with genetic controls and functionality in strawberry against Pm ***,the gene expression profiling and RNAi silencing of putative FamLO genes in response to the pathogen indicate the function in Pm *** results are a critical first step in understanding the function of strawberry mLO genes and will facilitate further genetic studies of Pm resistance in cultivated strawberry.

Under certain conditions, ultrafast pulsed laser interaction with matter leads to the formation of self-organized conical as well as periodic surface structures （commonly reffered to as, laser induced periodic surface structures, LIPSS）. The purpose of the present investigations is to explore the effect of fsec laser fluence and ambient environments （Vacuum ＆ 02） on the formation of LIPSS and conical structures on the Ti surface. The surface morphology was investigated by scanning electron microscope （SEm）. The ablation threshold with single and multiple （N = 100） shots and the existence of an incubation effect was demonstrated by SEm investigations for both the vacuum and the 02 environment. The phase analysis and chemical composition of the exposed targets were performed by x-ray diffraction （XRD） and energy dispersive x-ray spectroscopy （EDS）, respectively. SEm investigations reveal the formation of LIPSS （nano ＆ micro）. FFT d-spacing calculations illustrate the dependence of periodicity on the fluence and ambient environment. The periodicity of nano-scale LIPSS is higher in the case of irradiation under vacuum conditions as compared to 02. Furthermore, the 02 environment reduces the ablation threshold. XRD data reveal that for the 02 environment, new phases （oxides of Ti） are formed. EDS analysis exhibits that after irradiation under vacuum conditions, the percentage of impurity element （A1） is reduced. The irradiation in the 02 environment results in 15% atomic diffusion of oxygen.

The perforated stiffened panel is generally found as a sub-component of sophisticated *** fundamental purpose of this panel is to withstand against buckling under complicated loading and environmental ***,an accurate knowledge of critical buckling behaviour of stiffened panels is very much essential for a reliable and lightweight structural *** this paper,the focus is on quasi-laminated panels with different cutout shapes of various sizes and their responses to hygrothermal environments under nonlinearly varying edge loads and is compared with the locally stiffened *** this,the modelling of the panel and stiffener is done by adopting nine-noded heterosis plate elements and three noded beam elements *** stiffener formulation is suitably modified in order to take the torsional effect also into consideration along with the effect of shear ***,the plate and the stiffener elements are treated separately,and then the displacement compatibility is maintained between them by using the transformation *** a given loading and geometric discontinuity,the stress distribution within the perforated panel is highly non-uniform in nature and hence a dynamic approach has been used to calculate buckling loads by adopting two sets of boundary conditions,one set for pre-buckling stress analysis and the second set for buckling *** different quasi-isotropic stacking sequences are deliberated in this work by varying different ply-orientation in each *** study also addresses the effect of various parameters such as nonlinear loads,hygro-thermal loads,cutout size and shapes,position of cutout,stiffener parameters,stacking sequences,thickness of plate and boundary conditions.

采用改进的溶胶-凝胶法在低温制备了Sn-Ti O2/聚噻吩纳米杂化材料(SPNH),运用X射线衍射(XRD)、扫描电镜、X射线光电子能谱(XPS)、红外光谱(IR)、紫外-可见光漫反射光谱(UV-DRS)和BET比表面积分析对所制样品进行了表征.XRD结果证实聚噻吩(PTh)对Ti O2晶相结构没有影响.IR和UV-DRS结果表明,在掺杂的金属氧化物与PTh的纳米杂化和结合过程中,PTh表面与金属氧化物之间存在相互作用(类似核壳结构).XPS结果显示,纳米杂化材料中存在Sn4+以及PTh与Ti O2各自所含的元素.催化剂表面吸附污染物结果发现,SPNH的吸附容量高于Sn-Ti O2纳米粒子(STN).在可见光下降解有机污染物硝基苯(NB)和孔雀绿(mG)的反应中,SPNH表现出比单纯STN更高的光催化活性和稳定性.由于STN上存在聚噻吩,使得样品表面吸附NB(24%)和mG(21%)的能力增加,从而导致更高的光催化收率.考察了该光催化剂在可见光下重复使用5次时的光催化活性,未见PTh的消耗和降解.这些高光催化活性的SPNH材料有望在工业水净化中用作光催化剂.
