Pharmacovigilance guidelines for clinical application of Chinese patent medicines for mucosal administration

The group standard Pharmacovigilance guidelines for clinical application of Chinese patent medicines for mucosal administration was released on January 16, 2024, on the national group standards information platform by the Institute of Basic Research in Clinical medicine of China Academy of Chinese medical Sciences and School and Hospital of Stomatology of Peking University, under the centralized management by the China Association of Chinese medicine. The standard number is T / CACm 1563. 6-2024. It aims to propose key elements and specify technical methods for safety monitoring and reporting, signal identification, risk assessment, and risk control based on the Drug administration law of the People ' s Republic of China (revised in 2019), which establishes normative pharmacovigilance guideline of Chinese patent medicine for mucosal administration that is in line with the characteristics of traditional Chinese medicine (TCm) based on the pharmacovigilance content for clinical application of Chinese patent medicine for mucosal administration. The group standard has been discussed by internal and external experts through multiple rounds of consultation. It serves as a guiding document for stakeholders involved in pharmacovigilance activities, including pharmaceutical license holders, drug manufacturers, medical institutions, research institutes, and pharmaceutical trading enterprises. © 2024 Zhongguo Zhongyi yanjiuyuan. Low-carbon Development Path of Ordos Based on LEAP model

To determine the low-carbon development path of Ordos，three scenarios（baseline scenario，low carbon scenario，and enhanced low carbon scenario）were constructed based on the LEAP model to forecast the energy demand and carbon emission in Ordos from 2020 to 2050 and to analyze the contribution of various policy initiatives to reduce carbon emission. The results showed that under the enhanced low carbon scenario，the energy demand in Ordos peaked at 52 million tons of standard coal equivalent in 2025 and decreased to 40 million tons of standard coal equivalent in 2050，and carbon emissions peaked at 163 million tons in 2025 and decreased to 16 million tons in 2050，which was 88% lower than that in 2020. Regarding emission reduction contribution，comparing the baseline scenario and the enhanced low-carbon scenario，the increase in renewable energy power generation installation，the reduction in energy consumption of terminal energy use，and the increase in terminal electrification rate contributed to the emission reductions of 43%，25%，and 24%，respectively. The Ordos should vigorously develop renewable energy and make full use of the rich endowment of wind and light resources；at the same time，it should promote economic transformation and gradually increase the proportion of high-value-added and low-energy-consuming industries in the industrial structure. For the power sector，the power generation structure should be adjusted. Traditional thermal power generation should be replaced by zero-carbon and low-carbon power generation technologies. For the industrial and transportation sectors，the terminal electrification rate should be increased，and the energy intensity should be reduced. © 2024 Science Press. All rights reserved.

We explore the gapped graphene structure in the two-dimensional plane in the presence of the Rosen-morse potential and an external uniform magnetic *** order to describe the corresponding structure,we consider the propagation of electrons in graphene as relativistic fermion quasi-particles,and analyze it by the wave functions of two-component spinors with pseudo-spin symmetry using the Dirac ***,to solve and analyze the Dirac equation,we obtain the eigenvalues and eigenvectors using the Legendre differential *** that,we obtain the bounded states of energy depending on the coefficients of Rosen-morse and magnetic potentials in terms of quantum numbers of principal n and spin-orbit ***,the values of the energy spectrum for the ground state and the first excited state are calculated,and the wave functions and the corresponding probabilities are plotted in terms of coordinates *** what follows,we explore the band structure of gapped graphene by the modified dispersion relation and write it in terms of the two-dimensional wave vectors K_(x) and K_(y).Finally,the energy bands are plotted in terms of the wave vectors K_(x) and K_(y) with and without the magnetic term.

Direct microwave leaching conditions of rare earth elements in fluorescent wastes

The luminescent phosphor powder in the fluorescent lamp constitutes 2%of the lamp’s *** can be mentioned that fluorescent wastes are a crucial raw material to produce rare earth *** the present study,microwave leaching process was conducted to dissolve rare earth elements yttrium(y),europium(Eu),and remaining rare earth elements(REEs)present in the phosphor powder of the fluorescent *** the yields were *** the microwave leaching process,the effects of the temperature(80-160℃),acid type(hydrochloric acid(HCl),nitric acid(HNO_(3)),sulphuric acid(H_(2)SO_(4))),acid concentration(0.5-6 mol/L),solid to liquid ratio(0.1:10-0.5:10)and reaction time(5-90 min)parameters on leaching efficiencies of varying rare earth elements and calcium were *** highest yield was obtained in the direct microwave leaching of fluorescent waste with the experimental conditions of 6 mol/L HCl,160℃,0.1:10 solid-to-liquid ratio(S:L),and 90 *** energy calculations were made,and kinetic models of the reactions were obtained,and it is observed that y and Eu dissolution is diffusion-controlled,on the other hand,lanthanum(La),cerium(Ce),and terbium(Tb)were examined to be chemical reaction ***,calcium(Ca)and gadolinium(Gd)seem coherent with the mixed ***,mathematical models of all experimental studies are created with the response surface Box-Behnken method and the correlation coefficients of all the models are over 90%.

In this article, a novel scalarization technique, called the improved objective-constraint approach, is introduced to find efficient solutions of a given multiobjective programming problem. The presented scalarized problem extends the objective-constraint problem. It is demonstrated that how adding variables to the scalarized problem, can lead to find conditions for (weakly, properly) Pareto optimal solutions. Applying the obtained necessary and sufficient conditions, two algorithms for generating the Pareto front approximation of bi-objective and three-objective programming problems are designed. These algorithms are easy to implement and can achieve an even approximation of (weakly, properly) Pareto optimal solutions. These algorithms can be generalized for optimization problems with more than three criterion functions, too. The effectiveness and capability of the algorithms are demonstrated in test problems.

The Triple Helix of innovation as a double game involving domestic and foreign actors

Purpose:The collaboration relationships between innovation actors at a geographic level may be considered as grouping two separate layers,the domestic and the *** the level of each layer,the relationships and the actors involved constitute a Triple Helix *** paper distinguished three levels of analysis:the global grouping together all actors,the domestic grouping together domestic actors,and the foreign related to only actors from partner ***/methodology/approach:Bibliographic records data from the Web of Science for South Korea and West Africa breakdown per innovation actors and distinguishing domestic and international collaboration are analyzed with game *** core,the Shapley value,and the nucleolus are computed at the three levels to measure the synergy between ***:The synergy operates more in South Korea than in West Africa;the government is more present in West Africa than in South Korea;domestic actors create more synergy in South Korea,but foreign more in West Africa;South Korea can consume all the foreign synergy,which is not the case of West *** limitations:Research data are limited to publication records;techniques and methods used may be extended to other research *** implications:West African governments should increase their investment in science,technology,and innovation to benefit more from the synergy their innovation actors contributed at the foreign ***,the results of the current study may not be sufficient to prove that greater investment will yield benefits from foreign ***/value:This paper uses game theory to assess innovation systems by computing the contribution of foreign actors to knowledge production at an area *** proposes an indicator to this end.

This editorial delves into the research article by Zeng et al published in the latest issue of World Journal of *** manuscript contributes significantly to addressing the global health issue of nonalcoholic fatty liver disease(NAFLD)by introducing and validating the Exercise and Diet Adherence Scale(EDAS).The article effectively conveys the importance of the study,highlighting the prevalence of NAFLD,the lack of approved drugs for its treatment,and the crucial role of lifestyle *** use of the Delphi method for scale development and the subsequent evaluation of its reliability add scientific rigor to the *** results demonstrate that the scale is correlated with key lifestyle indicators,which makes it a promising tool for assessing patient adherence to *** identification of specific score thresholds for predicting adherence to daily calorie intake and exercise adds practical value to the *** differentiation among scores indicative of good,average,and poor adherence enhances its clinical *** conclusion,the manuscript introduces EDAS,a valuable instrument that can contribute substantially to the field of NAFLD research and clinical practice.

We report the detection of aγ-ray bubble spanning at least 100deg2 in ultra-high energy(UHE)up to a few PeV in the direction of the star-forming region Cygnus X,implying the presence super PeVatron(s)accelerating protons to at least 10 PeV.A log-parabola form with the photon indexΓ(E)=(2.71±0.02)+(0.11±0.02)×log10(E/10 TeV)is found fitting the gamma-ray energy spectrum of the bubble *** sources,“hot spots”correlated with very massive molecular clouds,and a quasi-spherical amorphousγ-ray emitter with a sharp central brightening are observed in the *** the core of~0.5°,spatially associating with a region containing massive OB association(Cygnus OB2)and a microquasar(Cygnus X-3),as well as previously reported multi-TeV sources,an enhanced concentration of UHEγ-rays is observed with 2 photons at energies above 1 *** general feature of the bubble,the morphology,and the energy spectrum,are reasonably reproduced by the assumption of a particle accelerator in the core,continuously injecting protons into the ambient medium.
